   Landmark.

   Landmark arrived promptly at the scheduled time for my move from Ottawa to Montreal. The rate charged was very reasonable (compared to quotes received from other moving companies). The 2 men were professional, and took care to ensure that nothing was damaged en route.

   Good experience.

   Everything went smoothly, I moved from Edmonton to Kelowna in the winter and everything arrived at destination on time. The movers carefully packed everything in Edmonton and unwrapped them in Kelowna. No damages or dirt on the furnitures when arrived. I shopped around before deciding on this mover, they offer the cheapest and quickest service around. I would recommend this mover.

   Long haul move.

   The movers arrived on time. The 2 men were very good and wrapped all my fragile things. They were done in good time and were careful and polite. On arrival I had 2 different men who seemed agitated and even I was helping them but they were not too eager to place heavy objects in place where I wanted them. They were in a bad mood. I had everything that I packed myself and nothing was missing or broken. The 2 men on delivery were complaining about the time of day because it was dark out and they could not see in the back of the tracker trailer, so they were having a difficult time. Anyone thinking about this company, should make sure that they arrive during the daylight hours.

   Great and fast.

   We used landmark van lines to move our home from Ottawa to Vancouver. The move was a great success! It's affordable, accurate with delivery date, and reliable. The movers were quick. They were done picking up and dropping off our boxes in one hour. We paid 50 cents per pound which is the most affordable rate in comparison to other moving companies. We were very happy to have used them and will use them again!

   A successful move.

   "Transplanting" humans isn't always fun. I must be one of the lucky ones. My move wasn't a big one: < 500 sq-ft or < 4000 Lbs; but a long one: from Eastern Ontario to the Pacific Coast. Once my goods were loaded, I examined the used up space in their truck & noticed how everything was packed & my mattress marked a boundary, which I thought was clever. I also knew that my load was to be transfered in Toronto. Then the worries set in like: 'Did they forget anything'; 'Did something go missing while on their dock ?'. Landmark's staff including Mr.Mark reassured me that my move was safe in their secure facility. I was also kept informed as to the progress & arrival in BC. All my belongings including antiques & collectibles were delivered in less than an hour. (No stairs or distances to contend with). "A piece 'o cake!" Later when all was unpacked; nothing went missing & no damages were found. Landmark did good !!

   Quick and fast moving company.

   Quick and fast moving company. I contracted this company to move my small appartement from Montreal to Toronto. They took good care of my things and didn't damage my house. Movers were very helpful and were equipped with dollies and blanket for everything. At the end I didn't had to do anything which was what I was expecting. Finally the price was ok, could have been cheaper.. always! But in the end, it was worth it. Thanks.

   Move from BC.

   The trouble is my daughter signed the contract with Ryder, who used Landmark, and charged for THREE times the actual weight. She weighed every item. What is the sense of having regulations and a BBB if they allow companies like this to exist? This is simple theft by another name!

   Very bad movers.

   DO NOT use Landmark Vanlines for your move. They will charge you a lot more than quoted and more weight that your effects acutally weigh. Above that, they will never provide you with the scale ticket because they do not weigh the trucks. They estimate the weight very generously and make you pay, saying that they will refund you after weighing the truck, which they never do. They take advantage of the stress of moving to make you pay more. Do yourself a favor and stay away from that company. You will have to pay a lot more than you think. There are, I am sure, many other companies that will do it right for a lower price.

   Terrible experience.

   I have been through a horrible experience with Landmark. I'm wanting to go to the media and expose these crooks. I encourage anyone willing to share their experience with Landmark to call or text me at 604-349-6193. I think as a group we could get some legal advise or at least media exposure of this horrible company who is messing with lives.

    Move from Nova Scotia to BC.

    The problems I encountered with Landmark are to extensive to write about. In short, there quote will increase greatly for no other reason then the fact that they have your goods on their truck. They will not open the doors to unload until they have sucked you dry. Terrible dishonest company. Beware and stay away.
