   I needed a 3 bedroom house move including large heavy furniture. The movers came on time and made me feel very comfortable with the way work. At the end of the day, only a dresser got scratched but the insurance paid for it without problem. I really liked these guys and now they are at the top of my list when thinking about moving.

   Lied to, hidden costs and my stuff took forever!

   Moved from Colorado to Ohio. Iwas given all sorts of hidden fees and I was originally told my stuff would arrive on the 3rd. I was NOT told that they would take my stuff to a storage facility first and wait for an available truck. I was, in fact, specifically told by Serg that was NOT what was happening. I was also hung up on by customer service and I understand they should be treated with respect but this is outrageous. I have NEVER been treated so poorly. I couldn't even get an exact estimate of the day! They said 3-7 days AFTER it was being loaded from storage. They coulsnt wven give me a day of arrival! That being said, the movers themselves were very professional and efficient (which is why they get two stars instead of one) but I feel incredibly misled. I know the contract said up to 30 days but I was no TOLD that they would not be storing my stuff or that it would take over a WEEK after the "first available" date. I would NOT sign with them and if you work with Bronze Star Movers and get them DO NOT SIGN.

   Contracted through a Broker

   MC Movers was contracted by a moving broker to handle my move. I had a terrible experience with them. I cannot stress enough to NOT USE them!. It took 6 weeks (29 business days). Their lack of communication ended when they realized they were past the federal regulatory limit of 21 business day for a 1200 moves. At that time, I was informed that the truck had broken down, so it would be another 5-7 days since they were waiting for parts. It was after that the driver texted me two days in a row saying the truck was being worked on, so he wouldn’t be there. I tried to verify that he had my load, but the driver ignored my questions. He also did not identify himself by name. Instead, I did a reverse phone search since I was meeting him alone. At the time he showed up, I called him by name which verified who he was. I was not surprised by broken dishes I unpacked after seeing the driver put one flat box on its end and another arrived upside-down. With overdue delivery, lack of communication, substandard equipment, a shady driver, and broken/missing items, this was, by far, the most stressful move I’ve ever experienced. DO NOT TRUST MC Movers with your move!

   They were the absolute worst “professional” company I have ever had to deal with. The driver lied for 2 weeks about how far away he was and kept giving false delivery windows. They broke our entertainment center, our kids play kitchen, one of our night stands, most of the boxes looks like Ace Ventura delivered them, and somehow we are missing one of our mattresses. All of the customer service people I had to talk to were rude, not understanding, and not one time apologized for how awful all of this has been. When you spend thousands of dollars to have professionals handle your move, you don’t expect them to treat your belongings like garbage and treat the customer like it’s their fault. Run from this place!

   I should have read the other reviews first. Also, seeing them now I can already tell the the type of response I'll get from them, some phony copy/paste empathetic nonsense, none of which they showed during the actual experience. Everything except for the initial call was a terrible experience and even that was not great. The initial call felt really rushed. They will tell you very vague details but all the things you'd hope to hear, and then provide an estimate that you'll be really happy with or one that will at least, on the surface, solve your problem. The initial estimate, as you can read from the many reviews and the same experience for me, was incorrectly estimated by them and after further review needed to be increased. You are at this point, and every other point they all and ask for more money, told to either comply or forfeit what you've paid thus far. Thinking it'll solve the headache once again you'll pay, like we did, only to be called again and again leading up to the pickup about more unknown charges. Our initial estimate was for $4500-6000 and in the very end, after fighting and getting some things removed we were in over $13000. Even on the pickup day the drivers, who by the way will be third party contracted by safeship and this not their responsibility, will attempt to get more money, they wanted $2400 or they weren't taking it and again we could either sacrifice the deposit, almost $5000 at this point, or move forward. We argued for two hours with both companies and finally got them to take that charge off and move forward with the stated price upon that point, which had been adjusted and altered several times previously. The movers did a terrible job and everything we were told ahead of time was not as all what we experienced, and they would always say well look at your contract even though what they verbally said was clearly different. It was absurd. After relaying that the golf cart we were shipping costs significantly more because it's a bulk item which can't have any items stacked on it, I have photos showing them loading it with a ton of stuff including a king size mattress and it showed up cracked in the frame. In fact many of my items were so poorly cared for that they showed up damaged. Our $1200 bike frame was chipped, our storage freezer is cracked and dented and the seal is bent. The boxes were delivered upside down and on their sides and that included the ones marked fragile. Most were crushed and wet. After being told my stuff would not be transferred to another truck or stored, it turns out both happened, which is why my delivery took forever and I'm assuming the communication on their end was so poor. Because the stuff had switched vehicles, they charged me a $1/mile extra and refused to deliver my goods without paying it first. On top of that they offered to store my goods if I couldn't pay for an additional fee even after assuring me I'd get 30 days free. Both companies, SafeShip and MC Movers LLC, will constantly point the finger at the other and you'll be left cutting checks and receiving busted valuables. I guess I'm grateful nothing was lost as a lot of reviews mention not even receiving items. The harsh part is to file a claim, you have to go through their their party service, and when you Google that they also popup for scam reports and fraud like SafeShip. I filed a claim but have yet to hear back anything and assume I never will. There is a federal agency to file a report with and they recommend civil court as a resolution. Sucks to be taken advantage of and sucks that this type of business model is allowed but clearly there's no end in sight. Hopefully people will get to see this before moving forward with hiring a company.

   Absolute scam.

   I’m not sure how this “business” of scammers have not been shut down yet.. My parents decided to move out o state and found this “company”. They called, had the date set, quote finalized, and deposit sent. One week before their moving date, MC Movers called to push the time back. This at least felt like a confirmation to my elderly parents. However, come moving date, they never show.. My dad had been the one in contact with them, so as he called, he found out they blocked his number. They then call on my mom’s phone and they answer saying a truck is coming.. a truck never came. when they called back, they blocked my mom’s phone now. At this point, I call on my phone and they explain how they're working on getting a truck and will be there withon the next day.. No truck ever showed up and they were forced to find other movers last minute. I don’t know how people could scam an elderly couple and sleep at night.. The absolute worst scum on the earth. Beware of this scam.

   A Living Nightmare.

   Do not hire this company. We hired them to move our home from Vancouver, Washington to Asheville, North Carolina. From the time they started packing the truck, the cost keep creeping up and eventually they hauled away out things and told us they'd get back to us with the final cost. They had all of our possessions and charged us almost $5000 more than originally agreed upon to deliver it - the move ended up costing us over $15,000, when we had two other quotes from reputable companies that were less than MCM ended up costing, but slightly higher than the original quote from MCM. When they did deliver our truck, things were horribly damaged, and some precious things were completely missing. And did I mentioned that it took them several WEEKS to deliver it? They were so late that we ended up getting our things 24 days after they left our home in WA. This was the most horrible experience that still causes my husband and I anxiety when we think about the things that we lost and the money that we wasted. It was a true nightmare. And they are impossible to get ahold of.. I could go on and on. Don't do it.

   Do NOT hire MC Movers!! Upon moving from VA to WA, my husband and I had to hire movers for that cross country trip. As he is active duty military we could not do the move ourselves. We were promised a 24 window in which we would be notified that the movers were going to be there to pick up our things. We never received a call and with my flight being in less than 24 hours we called them to see what was going on. We were told the movers were actually on their way and they aren’t sure why we weren’t informed. When the movers arrived they were not in a MC MOVER truck, but a “Ryder” truck. They were not dressed in uniforms or anything you would expect professional movers to be in. I was home alone with my toddler and they were making inappropriate comments and asking if I was home alone. I called my friend to come over because I did not feel comfortable. After loading the truck, the driver informed me that I needed to pay him an additional $150 in CASH fees for them to take my things. Cash that I did not have nor was I informed of at any point. It was 1am and my child was sleeping, he said he wasn’t leaving my house until I paid him the money.l so I’d better figure it out. The office was closed and there was no one I could reach regarding this issue. He agreed to come back in the morning to collect the money as they would be staying in a nearby hotel for the night. Fast forward.. OVER TWO MONTHS LATER and we have yet to get in contact with ANYONE from MC MOVERS regarding delivery of our household goods. We have been living out of suitcases for way over the allotted 21 day delivery window. We have left messages, sent emails, filed complaints, consulted with lawyers.. still nothing. $2,000 of our money and all of our things are in their possession and they refuse to speak to us. None of our clothes, furniture, my child’s medical equipment..none of it has been returned to us. My personal cell number has been blocked from calling the main line and I am thoroughly disgusted by this company. Save yourself the time, money, and stress and go with a more reputable company!!

   Got the scam down to an art!

   MC Movers LLC agreed to move my household goods from California to Texas for the reasonable price of $4,800. My next best quote was $6,800 from Upline so I took the cheaper option. Well you get what you pay for. I was warned don't trust a company that required a large deposit and MC Movers LLC got their hands on my $2k which they made me send a check to a totally different named company. Once they have your money you will not hear from them. I emailed several times in the 5 days leading up to the pickup date with no response. The day before the window I was frantically calling the number on their site and the person at the other end kept picking up the phone without answering then putting it down. They have now blocked my number. I emailed to cancel my order and get a refund and Charles Ryan simply called my to tell me it was his fault but I can not have my $2k back and would not accept the pickup was cancelled even though the van never arrived. I now have to go via small claims to get my money back. If you have any doubts, try calling their support line for yourself and see if they answer. They are also fraudulently using the name of a legitimate MC Movers in Mountain View, California. Absolute scam artists. No idea how they sleep at night.

    STAY AWAY from MC Movers!!

    I have filled complaints against MC Movers with the BBB and the DOT. This is a criminal organization. The "Good" reviews are fake. Take a close look at their fancy website. It's sham with a Photo Shopped picture of a moving truck (have you ever seen an MC Moving truck in real life? No you have not!) Their Facebook and Twitter links go nowhere. I wish I had been more diligent in investigating this company before I paid the deposit. MC Movers was hired to move our business from California to Nevada. The sales rep gave me a quote over the phone. He asked me to describe in detail all the items to be moved, along with measurements. I did so and he sent me the itemized list which appeared accurate and quoted me $8900. included an estimate with a binding contract for pick up on September 12, 2019. I signed the contract and provided a $2200 deposit in the form of a check. A few days before the move date I was informed that they would not be able to move us until Saturday, September 14, 2019. I told them this was unacceptable and they told.me that they would not be coming on the date stated in the contract and that I would not get my deposit back. I was told they would be at our place of business between 9am and 12pm. The driver did not arrive until after 2pm on Saturday September 14, 2019. The driver arrived with a truck partially filled. He came into our shop and immediately said there were too many items. They would not fit in his truck. He would need another truck and the price was no longer $8900. It would be $21,000 to do the move. We showed him the contract and the included list, but he did not acknowledge it. He just we on and on about how much more it would cost. We pointed to the language in the binding contract. He was uninterested. We sent him away because we believe they broke their contract and were no longer working in good faith. I phoned the customer service representative and told him what had transpired. I asked for my deposit to be returned because they breached the binding contract we had entered into. He said that we breached the contract by sending away the driver and we would not be getting our deposit back. I have also tried contacting their customer service department but I'm always told they are not available.
