Paid $626
Worst movers ever.
These movers were horrendous. They destroyed my property by throwing it off my second story balcony and were so slow. It took them six hours to move my two-bedroom apartment. The movers were rude, spoke little English, smoked and took frequent breaks. After they dropped my belongings from the balcony I asked the driver about the minimal insurance coverage on the form and he threatened me that if I did not sign the paperwork then he would commandeer my property and continue to charge me by the hour. I was coerced into signing the documents and just hoped they wouldn't break anything else. In the end, the move cost me $626 due to their super slow load/unload times plus the additional $1800 in damage. Chris from their parent company, American moving service, offered me a measly $0.60/lb for my losses, for a total of about $60 in compensation for a damaged television stand, two mattress covers, queen size mattress, lamp and dresser. I am suing them in court and reporting them to every agency possible. They actually threw my belongings off my balcony! Do not use this company.
