Wow, these guys are great; thanks a lot!
As an art collector, moving my paintings, sculptures, and framed prints was terrifying. Midland Van Lines US handled my items like they were museum pieces. They used acid-free tissue paper, custom wooden crates, and climate-resistant wrapping for my oil paintings. My delicate ceramic sculptures were packed with memory foam inserts, ensuring zero movement in transit. When we arrived at my new place, they carefully positioned each piece against the wall, even giving me hanging suggestions based on the light in the room. True professionals who know how to handle valuable artwork.

Everything went smoothly.
Moving our entire business was daunting, but the team from this company labeled everything, packed efficiently, and reassembled our workspace exactly as it was before. It saved us so much time, and the final bill was reasonable too. It was a 5-star experience!

Late and terrible Customer Support
Ill start with the Good: My stuff got delivered at an affordable price and everything was delivered intact. The Bad: My stuff got delivered 4.5 weeks after the date I requested it to be delivered. I was moving across the country and totally understand that delays happen in logistics. During this time, It was impossible to get accurate updates and I was lied the entire time that my stuff is shipping tomorrow and delivery is expected any day. Moving is extremely stressful, and Midland Movers made my experience terrible.

Horrible Experience: Damage, Loss, Blackmail
Midland Van Lines is a ripoff company. Beware Estimate: The virtual estimate walk through seemed to go well. I even provided photos of what needed to be moved to “Luke”, the sales person. The Estimate given was $5,800. I made a down payment via virtual check for $2,857.94. NOTE: Luke would not return my calls. Pick Up Day: Day 1: The move was scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on July 24. The driver showed up at 3:00 p.m. and walked through the house and said the original estimate was “way off”. The price at that point went just beyond $11,000. I made a wire transfer for the amount of $6,111.25 (that also cost me a $20 wire fee). Also note that the drive wreaked of marijuana smoke and left a stench throughout my house. Additionally, he threw multiple cigarette butts on my lawn and driveway. Day 2: The movers showed up at 10:30 a.m. two and a half hours late. They packed and loaded until 10:00 p.m. Note that they refused to take a few items including a ceremonial bison skull and some glass lampshades. These items were carried by me on my trip to Iowa. The movers refused to label and check off inventory list while loading the truck Kitchen Items: Labeled ‘Garage” Garage Items labeled Kitchen. Delivery Day: The movers said they’d be at my new house at 8:00 a.m. They showed up at 11:00. When looking at the move, they said that they needed an additional $275 because of stairs. I had proof that stairs were covered and paid for in the bill of lading. I paid Omarbahlol $275 via cash app. NOTE that the Bill of Lading contract accommodated for stairs on delivery and I paid $75.00 per the contract. At that point, the two people that showed up carried one item into my house. This was at 11:15. At this point, they said they needed to go to the store and get something to drink. They never returned. I called MIDLAND VAN LINES customer service: Waited for 30 minutes before anyone picked up Explained the situation Was told that there was a dispute with the subcontractor that needed to be resolved. Was told that they would deploy additional personnel to help with the unload. Was asked to text screenshots of texts from subcontractors I was told that the supervisor would call me back. Rep would not give me the name of their subcontractor. To this day: NO ONE EVER CALLED BACK! Very poor customer service. Delivery: Movers refused to adhere to “check in” numbers on boxes and furniture pieces. As a result, missing pieces had to be identified as I was unpacking. Movers dragged items up wooden front porch and splintered the wood on the top of each step: Repair and repainting necessary Movers dragged furniture and other items across hardwood floors severely scratching them. “This Side Up” was not adhered to. Many cartons including kitchen and boxes labeled “fragile” were placed upside down. The movers tried to refuse to take a couch into the basement saying it was “Impossible”. Note: The couch was a straight shot to the basement and went down effortlessly after coaxing the movers. Boxes delivered to wrong rooms / locations Kitchen Items in Garage Movers refused to relocate boxes dropped off in incorrect locations when asked.

If I could give them Zero Stars I Would
IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. I write this review with a broken heart, disappointed, angry and appalled as the services I paid close to $10k was done with no regard for the well being of my items, I have never experienced a move so horrible. Many of my items were broken, A valuable painting gifted to me is missing along with several dresses (and a Moshions sweatshirt) made of african garms, my $3k beige couch is soiled, the floors and hardwood steps in my newly built home are deeply scratched, some of my tote bags have been damaged by water, and to make matters worse, I had to deal with an unprofessional moving company that gave me less than 24 hours notice regarding when she would be delivering my items. I also had to witness the lead mover argue with her team about payment and furniture assembly responsibilities. I filed an insurance claim as instructed and they had the audacity to offer me $75 for: A Broken Coffee table Broken bookshelves (2) Broken File cabinet Broken Massage chair Soiled Sofa Broken Lamps (2) Missing Box of african dresses and Moshions sweatshirt Missing Nelson Makamo Art piece Broken Candle Tray Broken Mug (2) Broken Vase Broken ceramic Heart art piece Broken Senegal wooden statues (2) Broken wooden Dresser draw Chipped wooden steps (4) Broken William Sonoma large plates (4) Broken plates Medium (2) Broken William Sonoma small plates (3) Broken Wine Glasses (6) Broken Tiffany Champagne flutes (2) Broken Bowls (3) Soiled tote bags from water damage 1 Red Coach bag, 1 tweed beach bag Missing paper towel (costco pack), Broom/dustpan and clorox wipes (Costco). STAY AWAY, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!!!!

Missing and Broken Property
I contacted Top Tier moving group on July 21, 2025 and they quoted 2618.80 however, they contracted the job out without my knowledge until the day of pick up. Midland Van Lines picked my things up and they are not even registered with BBB. Midland picked my things up on July 29 they charged an extra $1000 the driver said my furniture was over sized. I packed my things neatly in 25 totes and boxes most of the totes were zip tied. I tried contacting Top Tier and they would just transfer me to Midland. So I never got the price issue resolved. On August 29 another company Black Mountain Freight LLC owned by (Brandon Liggins out of TX) was contracted out by Midland and delivered my things. My patio table glass was missing which I watched the driver who picked it up wrap it in a blanket. Two of my totes were emptied out 5 wallets, 7 fanny packs, and 22 purses missing. One of my wallets had mine and my children's socials inside. They took my winter coat, some clothes, personal items, and my Epson art printer that I wrapped in my comforter and put at the bottom of the tote with my computer. They took the zip lock bag with the cartridges, my cameras, and all the cords so we can't use the computer. The delivery driver( Brook) also broke one of my dining room chairs and tried to tell me to go get the piece it's an easy fix. I immediately contacted his boss (Brandon) and he told me I had 90 days to file a claim however didn't have the information to give me and told me to contact Midland on Tuesday and he would review the tapes when he got back to his office. This was the most costly and unprofessional move I ever experienced. Of course they delivered labor day weekend so I couldn't reach out to anyone. On Sunday, August 31 after I went through all my things I texted the dispatcher, Adara from Midland that I was talking to the past month just so she knew what happened no response. All day Tuesday I tried calling the contractor (Brandon) back that delivered my things to see if he reviewed the tapes or had any updates, I also called Midland again no answer or call backs. Wednesday, September 3 Adara called and apologized she said she was going to talk to her boss and they would make things right. I asked for the claim information and never received it. I will never deal with Midland, Brandon Liggins, nor Top Tier ever again. I would like my things some of them are priceless. My deceased mother and step mother's purses and fanny packs are among the things that were taken. I'm a victim of identity theft so for someone to have not only mine but children's social security cards I have issues with that. They have been safely inside my white and black wallet for well over 10 years. I am very disappointed in this whole moving experience with these companies. I did file a police report with the local Sheriff's Dept. because some things were stolen. Terrible move experience, poor customer service
I had a small move from Oconomowoc, Wisconsin to Tucson, Arizona on 7/27/2025. It consisted of a new dining room table with 6 chairs, large oil painting and about 18 boxes. The table was damaged - the deep gash in one corner that is almost 1 inch. Two DR chairs were gashed and scratched, one is large. The boxes were poorly packed, with no protective paper or bubble wrap between dishes and glasses. The packers only used my dish towels. Very amateur job! One baking dish was badly scratched and one glass broke. Amazing there was no more breakage based on the poor wrapping that was done by this contracted team. And the customer service team is amateur. Communications were terrible. It took many calls to get a move date. And then many calles to find out the delivery date. (It was one month, when 18 days was in the contract.) This company is sketchy. Do not hire! Karen B.

Tried to charge $3k more2days before pickup and no showed the day ofmove
I needed items moved from Oklahoma to New Jersey. I spoke with the Midline rep. He took the list and wrote down the large items and quoted me $10k. Two days before moving a "QA: person called to verify shipment. The large items had not been added and now I needed 300 more cubic feet at a cost of over $3000 and I needed to pay at least $1700 now. If I cancelled I would lose my $4200 deposit. I figured a way to reduce cubic feet by removing some boxes and pieces of furniture. I called him back and the QA person was SO rude. Im guessing he received commission on the extra $3000 or from the $4200 I would lose if I cancelled. He told me forget I could use the original $10k estimate but I'd have to leave things behind. Remember this was TWzo days before my big move. Next...I needed to pay cash or cashiers check at pickup up and cited a price $1300 more than originally quoted by the salesman. I called customer service they told me he was wrong and told me a could pay the original agreed upon price. Moving day arrived. Pick up was 8 to 11. I called at 1140 "the driver will call you back", I called again at 2:30 "the driver will call you back" I called again at 4:30. The pickup crew and driver were over 5 hours late without a call or update when he would arrive. The phillipina(?) On the other end started to tell me the driver would call me. I explained the situation and asked to speak to her manager, who wasn't available, so I asked to speak to her managers boss. I was put on hold and disconnected after 20 minutes. I called back. By this time they found the driver. He would be at my home by 6pm. I told them it would be midnight before they finished. The response basically was no problem. At 5:30 I received a call asking ifI could switch days and keep the same 4 hour window from 6 to 10pm. I explained my window was 8 to 11. She called the driver. He agreed to 8 to 12. I am typing this as I wait for the driver to arrive. I'm 80 % positive he will not, even after telling them I had to fly out tonight. So far with lost wages, airfare, ubering to and from the airport, having to put the dogs in the kennel AND the $4200 deposit this move has cost me in excess of $11k and not one box has been moved. I'll contact the Attorney General in OK and am looking to join a class action lawsuit. Is there currently one against this company?
