Move from Miramar Beach, FL to Irwin, PA.

Pierre and Dontae arrived at our Florida condo on time and did an awesome job of wrapping and taping our furniture and fixtures, loading boxes and securing items with bubble wrap, taping them securely, then, loading everything onto the truck. Custom boxes for TV's and mirrors were made, and every item was tagged with a number for tracking purposes. They worked almost non-stop for hours, taking only a short break outside. They left the condo neat and clean from all of the packing work they did. Pierre and Lonzo delivered our furniture and fixtures to our home in Pennsylvania on schedule. We were amazed that nothing was broken or damaged and at how hard they worked to unwrap everything and cleanup when they were done. We also appreciate the help of Alana and her help with the online shipping order and payment processes which were very efficient and well managed. And we appreciate the work of the Dispatch Team in notifying us about the arrival and delivery and schedule during this period. They all did a 5-STAR ** job and we really appreciate their attention to detail and care that they showed for everything. Thanks Guys, Tim & Susan.

    Best Move Yet.

Sad times for us as we closed out parents estate. But, Ouzie’s team from Nationwide made it so much easier. Courteous, respectful, careful and great attention to details. Most of the pieces were antiques. It was an out of state move. They worked with our scheduling and traveling between states. They offered helpful suggestions. They never assumed; they always asked first. Five STARS, 100%+ job performance. Highly recommend and will use them again if need ever arises.

    Delaware to South Carolina Move.

I contacted Nationwide over a year ago to move my home from Delaware to South Carolina. I worked with Laurie Osorio Senior Relocation Specialist, as our plans and needs changed we needed to make a partial move for now. I never made an interstate move before, she walked me through all the important details I needed to know..She gave great advice whether I hired them or another carrier. Her honest and caring answers indicated to me she understood the importance of making a good decision in selecting a moving carrier. She was always available for questions and suggestions. Our move was a success and they worked with my pick up schedule and delivery date. The crew they sent, husband and wife team Kenneth and Bree were amazing. They were quick, efficient and 100% professional! Not only were they the pick up team they were the delivery team, I was excited about my delivery a week later, and also couldn't wait to see them! We will be making another move later in 2019, and I can't even imagine hiring anyone else! You are in good hands with this company, They gave me a great piece of mind. Moving is no fun, but they made it a good experience for us. I wish I could leave a 10 star review!

Now that I’m settled in my new home, I wanted to take the time to write a very positive review re: Nationwide Van Lines. Throughout the move process, which included pick-up and delivery changes and other challenges due to Hurricane Irma, Ilana provided excellent customer support. This high-level support did not end with Ilana but continued with the team that packed and picked up my household items. Darien and his helpers were by far the best movers I have ever experienced, and I have moved numerous times. How fortunate for me that Darien and his team were also the ones that delivered my items to my new location and unpacked the truck. Courteous, professional, caring and kind – all adjectives that describe Ilana and the Darien Team. Highly recommended. Submitted: December 2018.

    TERRIBLE

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY This company came highly recommended for a long distance move, but I cannot understand how. It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with them, Rick in dispatch in particular. The movers were late picking up and I still haven't received my property because the movers are late delivering. This company will waste your time and your money.

    Moving Experience

Absolutely, AWFUL. I had a very short move that was literally less than 2 miles away and they could not even handle such a short move. Very "unprofessional" and nothing what I EVER expected. IT WAS A NIGHTMARE. I do not even know where to begin with all the damage. First, they damaged my wood floor. They scraped up the entire floor and cracked my door saddle, because the one mover dragged my very expensive Macy's cherry wood closet armoire across the floor. They did not even rap the bottom. Then I had to leave the closet armoire outside in front of the condo because the crew not only damaged the armoire, but could not handle lifting it. The crew broke my very expensive Travertine table. Two sides of the table were severely damaged and cracked. They new what they did and tried to hide the damage, by facing the damaged part of the table on the opposite end where it would take some time to notice it. They also left that part of the table partly wrapped. The crew damaged the speaker to my Sony sound system by placing my woofer directly on top of the speaker while they were unwrapping it. They scraped the entire top. One of the movers attempted to put together my cherry wood sleigh bed and did a terrible job. They also scratched up my sleigh bed when they dragged my box spring directly over the bed. The kid literally just dragged the box spring over the cherry wood bed frame. They also damaged the front door to my new condo and some minor scuffs on my couch. One of the gentleman also told me he worked for Capital Bank and Nationwide hired him as a mover. This kid, basically had his headphones on the entire time and did not do very much. The company had the audacity to charge me the entire price for the move and I am literally lost thousands of dollars because of all the damage. I no longer have my cocktail table, which was not fixable and my beautiful closet armoire was left outside, where it was rained on that same night and ruined. Nationwide Van lines sent me a very UNPROFESSIONAL crew and there is no way these guys were professional movers. This was the absolute worst experience ever moving. I have never experienced anything like this. When you look at their website, they come across as so professional. Its the exact opposite.

    Response from Nationwide Van Lines

Hi Louis, We apologize for the overall negative experience in which you encoutered on your recent relocation . We were unable to settle your claim and or assist with repairs to your structural damage due to the fact that you disputed pretty much the entire cost of your move via the card you used for your final transaction. A shipper must pay the final balance prior to initiang a claim. We have a chargeback from your card company. As for the cherry wood armoire, you mentioned to the owner of our firm at origin if he had interest in taking away your armoire. Seems it was too large to fit into your new residence. Our crew had the ability to lift it and deliver it to your new residence. Ths shipper refused our full valutaion protection plan back on 05-13-21. This coverage at a zero deductable adding to the quote $439.20 would cover any repairs at no additional cost. Also covers a furniture piece replacement of a like kind and or quality at no additional cost. The shipper has our basic .60 cents per lb per article coverage. We are compensating at .60cents per lb per article for the damaged travertine table/Speaker scratches/ Sleigh bed scratches. We are adding additional funds for the structual damage for a total refund back to the shipper for a full and final settlement of $300.00 We again apologize for any and all inconveniences that this may have caused Respectufully Rick Customer Loyalty Team

    HORRIBLE MOVING COMPANY

It takes a lot for me to complain, but this company is definitely NOT RELIABLE. I booked a long distance move well in advanced. I was originally given a 2 day window. I received a call 2 days before my move from someone trying to postpone my move because they did not have any agents in my area at the time originally scheduled . I was moving out of an apartment and my lease was ending. What is the point of a deposit if the company can’t even guarantee you that they will be able to move you out within the original time window(that has been approved, weeks in advanced) Luckily, accommodations were made and the move was back on. I was still clueless on which day/estimated time I was going to be moving within that window. On the Thursday I was scheduled to move out, I received a call at 9:30am stating the mover will be coming between 2-4pm and the driver will give me a call when he is an hour away (Everything sounded great). I finally called at 4:40pm asking if there was any update as I have not heard anything. I was then told the truck broke down that morning. I thought it was very rude and careless for the driver to not call the customers he was taking care of when it happened to give them a heads up. I would’ve had no idea, unless I called the company. I was waiting all day for the movers to come and there was absolutely no communication. I was then told that the movers would arrive the following day at 7am. I never received a call that a driver was coming until I called AGAIN at 7:50am-asking for an update. The driver did not show up until 11. I was hoping to get on the road ASAP as this was a long distance move from Ohio to Florida. This company does not care about their customers time/money and the service that they paid for to have a smooth move. They are not reliable and don’t have any sense or care to be in touch with their clients. I understand things happen, but the professional thing to do would call right away and inform the paying customers of the situation, so they can plan accordingly. If the driver is going to be late, you let the paying client know. You need to be up their butts to get things done. I was stressed the entire process on whether my driver/mover would even show up. The driver also showed up 8 days later than the date he originally told me that i needed to be ready for delivery. The delivery kept getting pushed back, and received no update from the company unless I reached out first. All of the boxes were broken/crushed and majority of my things were completely destroyed. Overall, this company needs to improve their communication and prioritize their customer service. I will NOT be coming back and definitely inform my friends/family to stay far far away. I am a very understanding person but this is completely ridiculous and I am very disappointed with my experience. This was a horrible, stressful experience. Not worth the quotes/money they charge at all.

    The worst move experience EVER!

I've moved dozens of times in my 25 year Military career and Nationwide Van Lines has been the worst. I had over $10k in missing and damaged items on my last move. I was asked to do a "quick settlement" for $5k, and it's now been over two months with no compensation. Their Customer Relations Manager Rick Vera has been extremely dishonest. I'd absolutely avoid this company!

    Response from Nationwide Van Lines

Hi Richard, Sorry for the delay in the processing of your check. We are happy to hear that you have received and cashed. Just to add to your review, there was prior history to your shipment as it was picked up from your residence and delivered to a storage facility back in 2018. The area suffered a catastrophic event (Hurricane). This caused your Military claims office to inspect and rid your inventory. It was re grouped into vaults and shipped to another storage facility. A year later we (Transportation Service Provider), handled the shipment from this storage facility to your new residence. Grant it, the foreman should have created a new Inventory sheet. We are not responsible for mold growth as we are only transporting from the storage facility to your residence. We simply followed the Warehouse Managers instructions not knowing the true definition of a Rider form and proper handling of the paper work prior to departing a sit facility. This is the reason for the compensation of the $5000.00 return to you as a member. It is not fair to mention that you had over 10 k damages and missing items when you listed a king size mattress with mold growth on it worth $3000.00. Pro gear with mold growth worth $1000.00. Missing guitar $2500.00. Missing adjustable base twin platforms worth $2500.00. $9000.00 worth just with the above mentioned. A total of 4 inventory items out of 24 line items. Your shipment was picked up on 08-12-19 and delivered 2 days later 08-14-19. Mold did not grow on your King size mattress in 2 days as your shipment suffered a catastrophic event prior to our handling as a carrier. I reached out to the storage facility as they mentioned nothing was left behind as all was emptied from the vaults. Too many hands involved prior to our handling. We apologize for your negative moving experience as we did our best to provide you proper compensation based on the prior history of your shipment . Most Sincerely, Rick Vera Customer Loyalty Team.
