   North Dallas Moving and Storage; The Best !!

   I used North Dallas Moving and Storage (NDMS) on 2 separate occasions: in 2009 when relocating from NYC to San Antonio TX and again in 2016 when relocating from San Antonio to Columbus Ohio. On both occasions the communication and service from NDMS was proactive and any questions or concerns were addressed immediately. All pick up and delivery dates were mutually agreed upon based on my needs and NDMS lived up to my expectations 100%. Their employees are the best at what they do: they care! Professional, courteous and extremely conscientious in handling my furniture and boxes, I was amazed of how each item was handled. I was fortunate enough to visit their local affiliate in San Antonio to obtain moving supplies, Armstrong. Not only was I given everything needed but was pleasantly surprised to find my car packed and ready to go with everything I requested. On my most recent move to Ohio, the NDMS staff went above and beyond in providing stellar customer service. The pack up and delivery date went according to plan. The pack up and moving team worked efficiently. During the final phase of the move and after unloading the moving truck, the NDMS staff assisted in assembling beds and other pieces that had to be dismantled for the move. The checked and double checked that everything was to my satisfaction. I cannot tell how what this meant for me and my family. Moving with 2 little ones is hard enough, but having the extra hands to assist was a pleasant and well needed bonus! The NDMS employees care about what they were doing and what their work and representation meant to NDMS. I know this may sound unbelievable, but not one item was damaged or broken. My belongings were in great hands for both moves. The sub contractors used on both occasions for special pack needs (ART AND ANTIQUES) arrived promptly and performed a thorough special pack of my art work. NDMS is highly recommended for anyone seeking a stress free and seamless move. Their customer service, logistics and field operations is above and beyond anything that I have ever experienced. You will be in great hands using North Dallas Moving and Storage. They are highly recommended for anyone that wants to relocate without the stress associated with a relocation. Their corporate team is a pleasure to talk with in the planning of your move. They send a specialist out to assess your needs. Throughout the entire process, I received telephone calls and emails informing me of 'next steps' and expectations. There is no doubt that I will be using NDMS again and referring NDMS to my business associates and friends. This is a company that takes customer service seriously and delivers on their promise!

   Although movers are experienced, somewhere outstanding others not so much. We still are looking for certain items--no telling what else got lost along the way. Filed a claim for damaged, poorly wrapped and handled wooden cabinet & lost pieces to a stained-glass lamp. Filed a claim Nov 9, no check rec'd as of Dec 11! We couldn't find replacement pieces for lamp, so we had to buy a new lamp! Check does not cover the replacement of cabinet & lamp. Repeat excuse is the person who 'cuts' check is out but it will be mailed. Since no check has been received, I want all to know that the 2.4 star rating by Yelp! may be too high. DO NOT USE NDMS CARROLLTON TX

   DO NOT use this company no matter what. they lost items, REFUSED to pay for their replacement, said I was lying about what was missing, when the very unprofessional Bruce Hines finally agreed to cover my lost items their insurance was an absolute joke. They covered .30 cents for one of my lost items that was over $140?. The second item they covered only $12 of the $150? This company is an embarrassment to the moving community. Extremely unprofessional. Do not use this company.

We regret that your claim was not settled to your satisfaction, but, unfortunately, you chose a free valuation at the time you booked your move that is based on 60 cents per pound/per article.

   They don't keep their promises.

   I chose this company despite the fact that they were the most expensive because their salesman promised that they would replace any goods damaged in the move. They moved me in April and I contacted them to let them know my refrigerator was dented. They gave me a low ball offer for the repair. I contacted Sears to get the actual cost and forwarded that information to the adjuster. In the meantime (about a week), the refrigerator stopped working altogether. The adjuster told me that they would not cover it because the refrigerator was working when we last spoke. She told me I could not prove that the damage was caused by the move. I said she couldn't prove that it wasn't. Since the adjuster made it clear they would not help me and I needed a refrigerator, I bought a new one and had the old (16 months) one hauled away. I continued to pursue my claim and even offered to accept a settlement for half of the cost of the replacement refrigerator. Today, after more than 5 months, the adjuster came back to me with their original offer that wouldn't even have fixed the dents.

   Reverse move 3 x cost of original.

   Had this company move some items for a short term move from Dallas to Irvine CA. The outward move went smoothly and reasonable cost. To move the exact same items back to Dallas we were quoted 3 times the cost of the move completed less than 10 months before. Could never get through to the agent on the phone to discuss, only via email. Poor service and poor communication.

   Ineffective communication & over charges.

   We moved from DFW to Austin. We paid extra for crating and uncrating out glass table top. We were charged trip charges as well as uncrating charges by a third party. On the day of the move our movers were instructed to uncrate the top. I feel that we should be reimbursed for the trip charge and uncrating charges since they used their movers who were already here. I began phoning and emailng NDM&S on 12/8/14 and as of today 1/24/15 all I've gotten is lip service and no justifiable reasons as to why they should not return our money.
