   Let me start out by saying they are the best damn movers in Jacksonville. I called today after another mover fell through. The owner was nice and worked with me to get the move done today. I was blown away. I called around 9:30 am. They arrived close to 2 pm and finished after 7 pm. The crew didn't speak much English but we were still able to communicate when I don't know Spanish, and they know little English. They helped take apart my desk and put it back together, same with the frame to my bed. Our dressers were wrapped with plastic and well protected. The crew asked where we wanted boxes and other items before placing them wherever they wanted. Excellent communication. The owner had his own truck and moved our more delicate items such as TVs. I can't highly recommend anyone better than Ocean Movers. I even hugged the owner at the end!

   Do not waste your money

   We paid them to load a truck; we rented a trailer from ABF since we were moving out of state and wanted to hire "professionals" who knew what they were doing to ensure our things got to our new home safely. Cost an additional $300 over what we were quoted-still not sure why. They did a poor job and much of our belongings got damaged or destroyed from shifting/falling over during transport. They threw a $400 end table from Ashley furniture on top of everything so of course it flew off and got mangled. Everything we own essentially has chunks of wood missing or scratches and gouges. My daughter's new KidKraft kitchen was crushed. The movers who unpacked for us said it was literally the worst pack job they'd ever seen. Had to pay those guys extra-had to go very slow to keep from getting crushed/destroying more of our things. When we called Ocean Movers about it, the less than helpful woman on the phone basically said "sucks for you". Said we can't prove we aren't the ones that messed it up. Then tried to blame the ABF driver. Her excuse for her employees not strapping things down was "did you provide them with straps"? There were straps IN THE TRUCK. Didn't know you had to tell "professional" movers to use the provided straps to secure things correctly. Poor work ethic. Poor customer service. And clearly don't stand by their work.

   BUYER BEWARE WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER

   STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOVING CO. HERE IS WHY. My biggest complaint is that they lost parts of my office desk and the movers told me the boss told them to stay until the parts were found and then I was charge for those 3 hours to the tune of $660 times two trucks. So my $2,400 to a home 5 minutes away was now $3,300 which was a total rip off considering I gave them bags and tape to tape the parts to the desk so they would not be lost. Question? Why did they not send the second truck back to the office? Why didn't they let the other 3 guys go back to the office and just have the one stay? Because they could charge more for them sitting there looking for parts that they lost. From what the guys who moved us shared, this is common practice. Had a fantastic experience with NORTH FLORIDA MOVERS a year or so ago. Much more professional, very fast. Nothing like this move took 10 hours (plus the 3 to find the desk parts which they lost because they did not attach to the desk as I requested. Therefore I had to pay for their lack of professionalism. But wait there is more... I had color coded box and marked clearly on all boxes what room to go into. They did not put them where they should go and left boxes that should be in the house in the garage where it is hot and perhaps buggy. The biggest reason I marked so clearly is because I am not able to move heavy boxes around the house, but now due to their poor work I'm stuck with trying to get help to put boxes where they were supposed to go in the first place. I also had some damage to furniture which they noted but never followed up with someone to come out to try and repair. I've never had a leak at any house I've been in. There was a flood that morning in the house we were moving out of (water left on in a bathroom) that flooded floors, cabinets and then at the new house another leak by them incorrectly attaching the washer. It flooded not only the laundry room but went all the way into another bedroom and it took 2 days to dry that out. The absolute worst moving experience I have ever had. If you do decide to use them in spite of this, call the main office with anything you want to communicate and talk to the manager/owner BASAR SAHBUDAK and/or get whatever in writing. Mr. Sahbudak essentially said his movers were not telling the truth about some things when it is really him not being truthful. I heard them on the phone with him several times. So unless you speak wit him directly he will treat you as untruthful even thought his movers said they had spoken with him. BUYER BEWARE NORTH FLORIDA MOVERS was not available for my move date. Next time I will wait until they can move me. This was a very expensive nightmare.

   Terrible moving company

   After leaving a bad review on Google for this company, Amber decides to respond AND the owner, a male with a thick accent decided to call me about 10 minutes after posting the review and call me racial slurs, threaten me and proceeded to tell me that he knows where I park my car at night. The audacity of someone that runs a “business” to call a customer and threaten them after they’ve left a bad review is just sickening. This business should be shut down and I will leave a bad review on every website that I can possibly find that mentions their company! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! They are racist and they damaged my property and stated that they would not replace it!

   Across town move.

   I would not recommend this company to my enemies. They use very inexperienced staff. The staff did not wrap and cover pieces of furniture until requested, then they had to be watched to ensure the furniture was covered. We had multiple pieces damaged. At the end of the move somebody named Amber Sahbudak came blowing in to create a bill. We were changed for materials not used in our move and forced to pay for a 1 hour lunch break. The explanation we received was you didn't follow the truck and I asked them. We had a very bad experience and this Sahbudak person had a that is the way we do business attitude.

   Worst Moving Company.

   This moving company damaged 2 dressers and said they could not be fixed, 2 leather chairs, 2 flowered chairs, an armoire that they turned upside down on the street and twisted it so they ruined the top. The movers were disorganized, didn't know how to move or protect our furniture. They were disrespectful, wasted time, argued with each other. They had no respect for us or our furniture. We have moved 10 times since 2000 and these were the worst movers we have ever used.
