   We are done unpacking from our move to Finland from Maine, and want to express our highest recommendation for RSS, LLC. Every step of the way, Michelle was responsive and helpful. Due to a family crisis, we even had our shipping container turned around, and then turned around again. Despite the very high number of emails, Michelle always responded promptly and followed through on whatever needed to happen, which was a great comfort through a very difficult time. (The double reversal of the container increased the cost, but I thought it made most sense to list the original cost.) We had a door to door contract, and everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly. Our stuff arrived in good shape and there weren't unexpected costs or fees. I'm grateful we decided to go with RSS, LCC.

   Kate, Michelle and the rest of the folks at RSS made my move from the US to Finland much less stressful. First, the response to a request for a quote was prompt, professional and about half the price of the quotes from other companies. They sent the customs forms needed, so I didnt have to chase them down myself. Their partners here in Finland were equally professional and the whole experience was painless. I would highly recommend to get in touch with Kate and get the ball rolling.

   Can't say enough about this company! Entrusting anyone with your entire life possessions is a huge deal. We were in touch via email and phone for 6 months. We are in Slovenia, which is 6 hours ahead of EST. This was never an issue as there was awareness around it and the team was always very responsive. Though we took 6 months to lock this down, there was never pressure put on us to close the deal. They gave us a very competitive quote. During the home stretch, there was a mini crisis when the team who had been hired to load became ill with Covid. Michelle scrambled to find another team ensuring the container left on the scheduled ship. Highly recommend this team of professionals. Daniel and Sandy. UPDATE.....Container arrived today, Dec 1, 2020!! We are even more impressed with the services of RSS, LLC. These are the TRUE professionals in the moving business. We had them load a 40-foot container in Oakland California, bound for Koper Slovenia. We were unable to be in attendance during the loading, so we trusted them to hire four skilled professionals to empty our locker and carefully wrap and secure a four-bedroom household. We opened the container yesterday in our little village in Slovenia and we're absolutely delighted with the results!! The container was packed full, and not one single item was scratched or damaged. I had allowed, in fact encouraged, the packing crew to purchase whatever materials they needed at the storage locker to ensure that delicate items were properly tended to. BINGO. Sixty five days at sea, three ports, lots of movement. Perfect. If you need to move nationally or internationally, don't hesitate to contact RSS, LLC. Kate was a superstar. Also, the BEST rate for shipping, freight forwarding, customs clearance, etc. You can feel confident using them.

   Why I chose RSS.

   Trusting a forwarder for your personal belongings is a huge deal. I chose RSS mainly because of Kate. She stuck with me knowing my queries were a bit premature. She guided me through the process. I suggest talking to her versus email for everything because she is brilliant and nice to chat with. Aside from that I heard a negative comment and it almost swayed me. But I am glad to decided to stay with RSS and that was Kate's doing as she reassured me and gave me more confidence in the process. I loaded the container today in a retailer parking lot with my moving people.The driver of the container was so patient and reassuring. He also sent me pictures as he pulled into the port and a video of the container being offloaded from his vehicle. Talk about service and confidence. RSS price for a full 20 ft container from California to UK was the lowest rate I received. The pallet rates were even higher than what I paid and your stuff is exposed. Very happy with the service so far. Still have 30 days to receive my belongings but I trust all will go well.

   Moving from Florida to the UK.

   I used RSS for moving my personal belongings & furniture from Seminole Florida to the UK in November 2019. They were very competitive, but more than that they were extremely helpful & very professional. They took through the procedure & what was required with ease, my furniture arrived in the UK without any problems & I would highly recommend RSS to anyone who is considering moving Internationally.

   Container shipping Oakland to Stockholm

   We recently moved from the Bay Area in California to Stockholm, Sweden. Being at the end of the pandemic, most moving companies would still not quote requests for a dedicated container, but RSS LLC did. The price for a dedicated 20-feet container was significantly lower than the only other reasonable bid that we received, so we decided to proceed with RSS LCC. We are glad that we did since everything worked out great. Compared to the original shipping schedule, there was a delay leaving Oakland, and seemingly there were additional delays in the transit port Hamburg, but we were not surprised given what we had heard about port congestions during the pandemic. Michelle at RSS was always very responsive and we appreciated that. The one area that RSS LCC could improve would be to provide clearer communication about what to reasonably expect in terms of additional fees in case of port congestion etc. In our case, we had to pay an additional $750 for a week’s delay in Oakland but nothing for the delay in Hamburg. On the receiving end in Stockholm there was also some uncertainty regarding additional costs, but in the end we only had to pay $450 for handling in the port. The truck driver was flexible in terms of timing for taking the container to our storage unit outside Stockholm. There was no damage to the content and the container had not been opened since it left California. It seems like the container had not even been tilted that much during the long journey. We placed our Thule ski box on top of some boxes and it was still sitting in the same location when we opened the container after 9000 miles of land and sea travel! Overall, we are pleased with the moving service and would recommend RSS LCC to others.

   If I could give zero stars

   The RSS team is not only arrogant and dismissive, they are dishonest when called to answer for their failure to do their job. My wife and I contracted with RSS to ship items from greater Seattle area to Portugal. After paying a deposit, communication became difficult and when our assigned container was in transit they demanded additional fees ostensibly for US Customs hold that never occurred, and they refused to discuss refunding the bogus fee (We verified with U.S. Customs no hold occurred). They also refused to assist with Portuguese customs process by providing Any information about documents needed or how to contact their approved receiving agent, causing additional delays and expense. RSS has also refused to assist in a claim against the shipper for an unlawful entry into the container that resulted in loss (theft of personal items including a safe, silver service and other items and damage to furniture) by failing to provide minimum information regarding the shipment: failing to provide waybill number despite repeated demands, until the state of Washington Attorney General’s office intervened, and then they lied to the AG stating they had provided this info “many times”. DO NOT TRUST RSS. Legal action is pending.

   Deceptive estimate

   I received an estimate of $5500 to ship a 20ft container. After my container was taken away, it was not shipped on the date they told me. Then the emails started coming with port congestion fee which was never disclosed on my estimate. I don't know how they can get away with it. Holding your container for ransom

   Hello Mr. Lewis, The ETD provided to you is an estimated departure date and as we stated, it can be changed by the steamship line at any time with little or no notice. As you are aware, the vessel your container was booked on was delayed by no fault of RSS. We notified you immediately after receiving the notification from the steamship line. We are terribly sorry that you are not satisfied with our services. Unfortunately, we are not in control of the steamship line delays. We can only notify you once we receive notification. In regards to the port congestion fee, please refer back to your estimate which has a link for the included/excluded items. Michelle has already resent that to you for review.    They are lying

   I showed them pics that the container we repacked. It was self packed single layer and when it was received double stacked. We unpacked it as soon as we could. Because first lawfirm took advantage of us and now we are leading RSS did the same! I guess they will wake up when the police arrive to their doors for stolen items.

   the first picture is the picture of the loaded container, the second picture is not a container, it is a loaded moving truck or storage unit as you can see the metal wall to the left and container has dark inside walls.

    RSS LLC additional huge charges

    Initial price promised by Kate for moving from USA to Central America was reasonable, but later, in addition to only customs fees and duties, as Kate promised, I got huge additional charges which I was forced to pay because my belongings were being kept as hostages in customs bonded warehouse, plus two weeks charges for the forced storage. They never gave me my Bill of Lading and FMCSA brochure about "Your rights and responsibilities when you move".Many of my questions and complaints were just ignored. They cited paragraph 24 from some document I never saw before agreeing to pay for their service.
