   There were amazing!!

   Me and my Husband moved from California wow this company was so good we were super happy with everything. At first I  must say I was a little nervous because of all the story about moving on line. But Emily made me feel stress free and the crew was very professional. Our delivery was on point and our stuff got here safe and sound.

   Moving Review.

   From the date of receiving an estimated quote, explanation and communication with Swift was frequent as the moving date and delivery address were confirmed.  The only thing I neglected to do was to get a visual quote as the actual price was higher than the original estimated quote.  This was my error and the moving crews at both departure and arrival were great.  The foreman Mr. Lopez advised me of arrival time and kept in communication with me throughout.  Every item was accounted for at time of move as well upon delivery. I was very pleased with Swift and highly recommend them. .

   Bait and Switch.

   I spend over an hour on the telephone with the moving coordinator, a very polite individual, and we went through every possession in order to get "the most accurate pricing quote". They even stated that their company is Swift Express "like the trucks that you see on the road". They are not even close to related to the perfectly innocent trucking company. I was low balled a quote, by roughly half, but by this point I had to be out of my current place, and on the road to my new job, 4 states away. So I agreed to let them go ahead and pack by belongings, after the too late warning from the crew loading my belongings about the price going up. They repacked my stuff, so it would be in more boxes, so that it would be more space. That's one trick. Then there was taking apart the dining room table, and all other furnature so that it would consistitue more possessions. My glass tabletop was never delivered, undoubted broken along the transit route. After trying to scronge up the remaining money to pay the now doubled price, they kept increasing the price, by having me pay for storage. The once polite coordinator is no where to be found, now I am dealing with pushy people, who call daily asking for over $3 grand in payments for delivery. By the time I am able to get the money together (2 weeks later), they tell me the next available delivery date is in another 2 weeks (add delivery charge), then the company that they contracted out the delivery to takes another week to bring my stuff (run-down truck). They charged another $80 for having stairs (payable in cash to the driver, shady). I am so dissatisified with this company. I still don't know what all is missing. I know about the big stuff, but after having possessions shuffled around, I could be missing several boxes and not know.

   As the previous reveiws mention, this company is one big scam.  Do not use save the stress from the lies. I don't write (never) reveiws, never.  However, this is the worse service company I have ever used.  They will tell you what you want to hear until you sign the contract.  Then they will keep your furniture hostage!   The cost was double what they quoted and never communicated, with you, EVER.  Of course, the one thing they promised me that would not be broken, they smashed.

   Scammers.

   Swift Express Moving & Storage - these people liars and scammers. Save yourself a huge headache - do not hire! I'm sitting here with a house full of packed up boxes and furniture scrambling to find another mover.  They quoted me $2400, but when they arrived it changed to $4000 because my furniture was bigger than they expected. What? I was on the phone with Emily their customer service gala dozen times.  I told her I did not want any surprises the day of the move, so we went over the inventory list several times.  That apparently didn't matter. Don't do it! You will be scammed too!

   Never Use this company again.

   Upon receiving a quote via online when the movers arrived the extimate went from 1200 to 3000. At that time I did not have the option to shop around.  Once I arrived at the state I was moving to I tried many times to contact the company to provide a address where my items were to be delieverd.  After 4-5 messages I was able to finally speak with someone and was told they would work on getting my items out to me on the date I requested and would call me back.  The next day I called again to find out what the status was only to find out that my items were still in California and that they couldn't give me a date when I would recieve my items.  That I would have to call back 6 days later for a update.  After many calls to the delievery truck I never recieved a call back, than left 3 messages to Swift to get the update.  Only than to find out that I was provided with the wrong number in the first place.  Not to mention the person I kept speaking with, when finally able to get someone on the phone, kept calling me "hun."  When my items finally arrived I was surprised to find out that Swift subcontracted with another moving company to deliever my items.  I was never told this was the case and was surprised when they pulled up.  The company they subcontracted to was very rude, did not handle my items with care, and finds out they have a C- rating on the BBB.  Upon unpacking and looking at my items I found damages.  I took picutres and sent them to Swift who than stated I did it myself and they were done before the movers even packed my items.  They stated that the contact shows what damages the movers noticed and I was never informed or explained that by the original movers.  I am still in dispute with the company and they are very rude.  I would never use this company again and would warn anyone to do their research first.

   Not honest.

   Received a quote over the phone, no one came to do an actual quote so when movers came quote more than doubled. We paid it and were given paperwork.  Once we moved we called to give address of new place.  We had to leave more than 4 messages before we got a response only to be told that we would have to wait until another truck would be coming out our way, we were never told that is how it works.  We had to continue to call them to get any status of our belongings when we would be getting it.  Once the driver finally came they were VERY RUDE and inexperience.  Refused to drive up to where we lived, kept demanding more money and did a lot of yelling and cussing.  Our belongs came back with some broken pieces and scratches and dents.  They were fine when placed on the truck at the beginning but not now.  We will be filing a complaint against this company since they will not compensate us for the damage as they told us they would do. Be careful of this company.
