   SCAMMERS! STAY AWAY!!!!!!

   THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS!! Do NOT BOOK THEM! I emailed Marlene and booked a move recently. She confirmed my move for 9 AM and requested a $200 deposit which I sent via e-transfer (Never do this!!) On the morning of the move Nobody showed up for 9 AM. I called (250-486-6606) and emailed (tgvanlines@gmail.com) and at first Marlene didn't answer either mode of contact. I called again and she picked up and I told her I was scheduled for a move at 9AM and no one showed up! She pretended not to know there was a scheduled move and asked if no one showed up! She then said she'd call and see if they were close by and get back to me; she DID NOT! Shortly after one of the drivers ANDRE 250-395-0081 left me a voicemail and they would not be at my location with the truck until 3PM!!!! I told them that is unacceptable and he told me to call LUCKY CAMPBELL 250-609-0081 and asked if there are other movers available. I called and LUCKY said he'll check with one other guy but could not guarantee. I immediately cancelled everything and requested an immediate refund of my $200 i.e. THE JOB WAS NOT DONE. TO THIS DAY I HAVE NOT received my money back! Lucky told me to email MARLENE, I sent at least 3 emails asking for my money back and she has not responded to any!!! LUCKY stopped taking my calls completely. I was able to get ANDRE again and he told me he would let LUCKY know I need my money back. I called ANDRE again and he said he spoke to LUCKY and message was received. I even flat out asked ANDRE if I'll actually get my money back to which he responded "YES OF COURSE". To this day no one has reached out to me. THEY ARE SCAMMERS - DO NOT BOOK EVER!!

   Extra charges for using credit card

   Unfortunately, this moving company was the "last choice" as couldn't find another for time needed - 1 day. Small load of personal furniture that fit in a 5x10 ft. storage shed. Move was from Salmon Arm BC to Kamloops BC. Agreed price $2,790.00. Once in Kamloops and before off loading, driver asked payment method, which was confirmed in initial agreement. When bill was presented for payment the total was $3,052.53. Agreed upon price was noted of the formal billing sheet, plus an additional GST charge of $139.50 with grand total listed as $2,929. 50. That leaves difference of $123.03!! Driver said added charge was because credit card was used. When questioned about excessive credit card admin charge, driver said "that's just the way it was" (not exact wording but meaning clear). There was no mentioned when initial agreement was given by company of this type of excessive charge, and no mention or anything noted on the legal agreement on the back of bill. This excessive charge is ridiculous and not within the norm. Be very aware of this excessive charge. Also note, that although there was an agreed upon price, this charge was way beyond any other major moving company!! I would not recommend them for any future moving needs. Other reviews have indicated the same.

   No response to claim

   Despite filing a damage claim and following up numerous times by email and phone, That Guy refuses to respond to my claim for a damaged table. One can only assume that they will move you, yet you the Customer take full responsibility for any damages caused by the movers. I would have more respect for them as a Company if they replied and refused rather than ignoring the issue. Never again...

   Poor Customer Service.

   I moved from Langley, BC, To Calgary. I found the movers on both ends to be professional and friendly. But!! I paid for insurance and unfortunately they dropped and smashed my tv. It's been over two months and they won't return my calls/emails in regards to a refund for my tv. This company lacks customer service and apparently doesn't understand what "insurance" means. I'd give them zero stars if I could.

   Horrible movers, don't be surprised when your items are damaged.

   Hired this company to move from Kelowna to Calgary. They did not wrap furniture properly at pick up and delivered several items damaged in Calgary. They refuse to pay for repairs stating "I should have bought the extra insurance they offered". Who would have thought one needed insurance for damage CAUSED by the employees of the company!! They have stopped responding to my messages, looks like I'm going to pursue legal action. DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS!!

   Worst moving company in Canada.

   They change the drop off date everyday for the past 4 days. They give a window of 8-5pm for drop off so your required to leave work everyday for there unprofessional work. I would not recommend them to anyone. The manager is rude and has the worst costumer service.

   Calgary to White Rock move.

   I hired this company to move very little belonging from Calgary to White Rock. The guys that came to Calgary were good and it went well. However the drop off in White Rock was suppose to be between 2-6 and I got a call saying that it wouldn't happen it would be in the morning. I then said I took the afternoon off from work and now you're asking me to take more time off work and not be compensated for it because you cannot guarantee your delivery time now! I insisted if they couldn't deliver that day I wanted a discount. The truck showed up at about 8pm, the drivers were tired they marked my walls, they lost an item, they didn't put runners down on my carpets like they said they would!! Its been a week now and I am still awaiting the manager of this company to return my call and for them to locate my missing item. Apparently they know where it is but are having a hard time contacting the people. It's unacceptable. 8 boxes, and about 8 big pieces and 3 smaller ones for $840.00. You would think that it would be a simple move and they would be able to get it all right. The most frustrating is the [EDIT] I am being fed. I do not recommend this company, and I probably have to consider my item lost and carpet cleaning on top of that and some touch up on my walls. I wish I would of read the reviews first!

   Horrible customer service.

   I hired this company to move our belongings from Kelowna to Squamish, BC. I got an email stating that with a 2 bedroom move they expected me to have 50-60 boxes which was an exaggeration. I emailed them with my dissatisfaction, told them I only had 30 boxes. Prior to my move, they said the needed to charge my credit card in FULL to see if I had enough funds. (1st red flag) They showed up at 8:30am at the scheduled day, 30 minutes into the move, the driver decides to walk into my washroom, where my purse, wallet, keys and other important items were and remain there for another 10-15 minutes. I suddenly realized that he was taking a dump, and I had just removed all the toilet paper from the bathroom since I was moving. So he didn’t wash his hands, didn’t use toilet paper nor asked me if he can use my restroom. I kindly told him when he walked out, to just ask me next time, if it was an emergency I completely understand. (plus I could of supplied him with toilet paper the very least!!) His response was nonchalant, whatever and continued to sip his coffee. His demeanour was chauvinistic; like I can do whatever I want and you can’t say anything about it. It was more his attitude I had an issue with. I called to complain about the events and his attitude, the receptionist said she’d contact the manager because I wanted another driver. I didn’t want him in my home nor touching my belongings. When she called back, the manager said that if I had an issue that I had to pay and additional $80.00 to get new crew. That’s when I understood that any complaints will never get answered or resolved and the customer is always at fault. So I tolerated them for another 2 hours. They left large scuff marks on the bedroom door because the driver didn’t want to unscrew the feet of my sofa bed. No apologies for the marks, when I managed to get off the marks using Magic Eraser, his response was “Thank God for that Magic Eraser”. They kept taking boxes and bags from areas that I told them not to take and I had to constantly ask for those items back. If I was not on top of things, numerous items would of gotten missing. At this point, I just wanted him out. The receptionist said that it will not be the same crew for the unloading in Squamish. A day before my move, I had no response to what time I was to expect my delivery, I had to call them at 5:30pm because I still hadn’t booked the elevator time. They apologized and said they were still figuring things out for my move. They gave me an estimate of delivery from 10-2pm, at 9 am, I call them to know the whereabouts of the drivers because I was on my way there. The receptionist called me back and stated that the driver hadn’t left yet and was still in Chilliwack and would arrive there by 12:30-1 pm; they arrived at 12:30pm, with the SAME driver!! Dump man. Pieces of furniture were being brought into the apartment damaged such as fireplace mantle which the driver blamed me for missing screws, wine glasses shattered, he shrugged his shoulders and said yeah that’s glass..despite my efforts in wrapping and marking glass -Fragile, legs of desk were broken, all my furniture was dismantled even though I didn’t ask for that, Scuffed my walls in my brand apartment because he didn’t want to take the legs off the sofa bed. AGAIN. Unwillingly paid for this service and a week later get an additional charge of $109.47 no elevator fee was not charged by the driver who wrote my bill. No call, no explanation, they have your credit card information and decide how much and when to charge. Once I again I had to call and speak to the receptionist and ask what was this additional charge and why there was no call. I explained that there were things broken and didn’t bother to complain because it’s no point. In all, as I read all your horrible experiences, it could of been much worse. If you don’t want the headache, STAY AWAY. Not worth the price or experience. I wish I read all your reports before booking them.

   Horrible service.

   3 Hour move: two young inexperience boys showed up 2 hours late to do the move. They arrived without gloves, food or water. We had to feed them! No problem except they dropped our 2500$ table while loading, and broke it to smithereens! Again, no problem because they reassured us that their company would reimburse us! HAHAHA.. NO.. even after numerous emails THAT GUY VAN LINES dismissed us and said we were out of luck. So..this company is only about making MONEY not SERVICE. DON'T HIRE THEM, YOU WILL REGRET IT.

    Horrific, Horrifc, Moving Company - BEWARE!!

    Having used professional movers 6-8 times, I can confidently say this was a poor experience. Poor scheduling. Withheld my possessions and demanded more money. Overcharged. Damaged goods. Insurance claim went unanswered after numerous attempts at contact. Checkout their awful rating on BBB.
