   Adam and chad were my movers and whom i am giving the 5 stars to. They were professional, flexible and extremely helpful. They worked with our schedule and challenges. They kept in contact to let us know how they were progressing with the drive. I would have adam and chad back for any move that i need to do in the future! As for the company, they taught me the right way and right questions to ask when choosing a mover. There were costs that were not transparent up front. But, everyone i did deal with were all extremely pleasant and easy to work with.

   My Tennessee to Missouri move

   Poor communication from the start. After precisely triple-checking my inventory list with Budget Van Lines regarding my cubic feet, Adam with Victory Movers (subcontractor for Budget Van Lines) immediately started trying to raise my cost by telling me I was double-over my cubic feet allotment, at my pickup location in Tennessee. At my delivery location in Missouri, 8-days later, with no effort on their part to communicate with me, Victor showed up with a 65-70 year old man as his helper. They spent the entire unloading process arguing with each other, aside from Victor telling me I was double-over on my cubic feet, and also telling me that anything over 7-stairs was going to cost extra. Also, the floor of their long box truck is channeled, grated aluminum, and both Victor and the older man were rough with my furniture trying to slide it around, and they were rough with their dollying, so I ended up with scuffs and torn-away furniture glides. Budget Van Lines told me about getting them within 75', but Victor was upset with being 30-40' away from the two doors I made available, and he asked me if he could pull into my yard so he could back up to 10' away from one of the doors. I told him no and he was rude from that point on. I am also not pleased with Budget Van Lines who sells their brand by telling you they have more trucks on the road than any other company, but then subs out the work to a mess of a moving team.

   Terrible experience

   Terrible experience. Charged $1000s more than estimate, some belongings arrived damaged and dirty. When driver arrived to deliverlate, he was alone (no help), my son had to help. Nothing but bad recommendation from me. Over $15,000 from TN to MI. Not on time for pick up or delivery full of excuses..

   STAY AWAY

   Showed up 3 hours late to pack my things in Buffalo, NY. 2 guys showed up, 1 could barely walk. Told me they wouldn't charge me certain fees and then did anyways after they said they could not move anything until I signed a document that they filled in AFTER I signed it. Told me they were going to deliver my belongings on Sunday morning even though we did not have the keys to our new place until Monday. Main mover was extremely confrontational and would not let me talk. Told me to have a money order ready on a bank holiday even though he never gave me the full amount and then made it seem like that was our fault. Would not start unloading until we gave him the money. Called me multiple times to tell me he has "other sh*t to do", while we tried to find a money order on a bank holiday. Damaged multiple items, including handmade furniture and lost almost $3,000 worth of my belongings. The actual moving company (New Leaf Moving) was great, but the movers (Victory Movers) were terrible.

   Horrible!

   Movers were planned for arrival in the morning, they arrived at 6:30pm. We had to keep calling for status, they never gave a pro-active update. We had an entire 3 bedroom house to move 3 hours away, my parents are elderly and on oxygen, it was made clear when we booked that we needed them to load and deliver same day. 2 guys showed up and 1 of them could not even walk!!! My disabled friend and I had to carry everything out to the truck and then unload it all at the new house (the one mover did use the dolly to get the appliances and largest pieces). On top of that, they would not unload until we gave an additional $3000 cash! A total of over $6000 to drive 3 hours and sit back while we did most of the work. They did not blanket the furniture, instead they put moving tape around all of it and ruined much of the wood, I now have to refinish several pieces. They also broke / scratched several items and dropped the stove. This was the worst service I have ever experienced in my life!

   Beware!!

   This is a company out of Raleigh, NC. They verbally told me it would take 3 days to move my furniture. They kept giving me new delivery dates every week and then not showing up or even calling me. It took 28 days. It was not terrible that it took 28 days. It was terrible that this company outright lied to me. Beware! Would not recommend them to anyone.
