“Terrible. They were a third party used by Guaranteed VanLines so I had no way of knowing who was going to pick up my belongings. I was quoted 3 weeks delivery but after 4 weeks, its still not here with no commitment when it will arrive. The packers showed up at 10:00 at night. After loading my…”

“Worst service EVER!!! They charged over estimate. Threw boxes and crushed every box shipped. Thank GOD we didn't send our furniture with them. Crushed 2 brand new box springs and mattresses. Those figures are counts of people who changed states.
Counts in both directions. Census ACS 2024 counted 7,194 people who moved from Arizona to Oregon, with a margin of plus or minus 2,095. The other way, 4,336 people moved from Oregon to Arizona. Those figures are counts of people who changed states. They do not say why anyone left, and this page will not guess.

What the job looks like
Our file has 16 reviews for this lane, and that sample is small.
The usual city pair. The most common run in our file is Mesa to Bandon, 1,237 miles and about 23 hours of driving. That clock time is for the drive itself. A loaded household move is days on the road once you add loading, the line haul, and the unload at the other end. A long-distance move is booked as that kind of job.
What people reported paying. Across 16 priced reviews the median reported price is $5,700. The middle half runs $2,500 to $7,000. Prices mix home sizes and distances, so the median is a center of a mixed pile, not a bid for your house. Our file has 16 reviews for this lane, and that sample is small.
Weight, miles, and a window. Long-distance moves are priced by weight and miles. Delivery is a window set on the order for service, not a promise of a single morning. Get that window in writing on the estimate before you treat the date as settled. The price you accept includes that range.
Before you book
On a non-binding estimate the mover must deliver on payment of 110 percent of the estimate.
Licence before the quote. An interstate household move needs a mover with an active USDOT number and FMCSA household-goods authority. Get the number and run it through the licence check before you pay a deposit. A quote from a carrier that cannot show both is not a quote you can book on this lane.
Binding, or the 110 percent rule. Ask whether the estimate is binding or not-to-exceed. On a non-binding estimate the mover must deliver on payment of 110 percent of the estimate. Read how that works in the 110 percent rule. If the paper does not say binding or not-to-exceed, you do not yet know which rule will govern the bill.
Window and deposit, in writing. The delivery window belongs on the order for service before you sign. If it lives only in a text message, you do not have it. Deposit terms belong on the same paper: how much, when it is due, and what happens if you cancel. The deposit guide is the checklist for that last part.
