   Joey arrange for movers to come the next day, and they were amazing! Fast, efficient, wrapped antiques thoroughly, and super nice people! We will definitely use again, and highly recommend for anyone looking for a mover!

   Great Movers in White Plains!

   Delighted that Al's Moving was recommended to me (by several people). Everyone that I contacted was awesome: Albert (the estimator) Sandra and Denise in the office, and Joey the head mover, upheld the highest standards of courtesy and customer service. I hope I never have to move again but if I do I'll call Al's!

   Fantastic Company.

   I used Al's Movers to move me to my new home in White Plains. Al came over at my house personally and gave me a quote. He was quick and professional and very responsive. The price he gave me was the price I paid. When the big day came his movers did everything from packing to loading and unloading and all my items in my house. They were fast, professional and a pleasure to deal with. Everything in my home was packed and unpacked and not a single thing was broken. I have heard horror stories from friends and colleagues that have told me their movers have broken and lost many items. I did not even have one glass broken as they took extra care to make sure all my personal belongings were properly stored and secured. This was my first home I purchased an Al's Movers made it a seamless transition. With all the stress I already had of buying a new home the move was the easiest part of it. Al's movers made it extremely easy and affordable for me and alleviated much of stress of that day. I have used different moving companies in the past and there is no comparison to Al's Movers they are the best in the area and being a family run business they take pride in what they do.

   While most of the crew was helpful and personable, the crew chief was grouchy. Additionally, over $1,500 of electronics equipment was shattered in a move that was just a few miles away, even though we paid extra to have them pack everything themselves. Would not recommend.

   I have been using Al's Moving for over 20 years on many moves. During my most recent move, one of their employees slashed a leather chair with a box cutter. Their answer was to offer me $25 after I submitted the cost and photos of my chair. The chair cost me $1.500 a year earlier. Unlike other movers they obviously do not carry sufficient insurance for your belongings and do not tell you this upfront. The insurance they carry is 60 cents per pound. This is absolutely ridiculous and they are not careful AT ALL with your belongings. Who puts shrink wrap on a leather chair? I would recommend NOT using Al's for your moving needs. Spend the extra money and go elsewhere.

   Absolutely terrible - after our experience, I wouldn’t hire them if their services were free. In fact, I would’ve rather paid double to a better company with better service. Don’t make the same mistake as us - the amount of negative reviews this company has online speaks volumes. Our move was handled with such inept, it’s mind boggling these people do this for a living. We confirmed with them a month before our move in writing/text the details of our move - including our address with apartment number and the fact it was stairs, no elevator. You would think as a moving company that does this for a living that they would’ve taken that information and did what they had to do with it at that time, rather than wait until the literal day of our move - first they tell us on the day of the move that because of the stairs now they have to pick up a helper on the way to help that would add to our cost. Then we get another call asking if an 18-wheeler will fit into our apartment complex - when the answer was no, we were told they were going to have to rent a van (at our expense) and shuttle our items in. When we tried to argue this, he was rude and said he “normally doesn’t touch jobs under $3000” and made it seem he was doing us a favor and acted with such ignorance as though they’re operating some high-end moving service, which is laughable after the fact. When they received our apartment information the month prior, they should’ve asked us this then, not the day of. They were extremely late (hours) and didn’t show up until almost 8:30 at night with zero communication, apology, or even any care. We didn’t get any type of communication until I called their main number, even after explaining we’ve been waiting an hour and a half at this point with no one picking up the phones - no apology. Worst of all, a majority of our boxes showed up extremely bent, re-taped, ripped and damaged, even the ones marked with bright red fragile stickers - that clearly meant nothing to them. After opening our boxes it was clear these boxes were extremely mishandled, flipped upside down. Many items of ours were broken, especially several pricey ones. Our 70” tv was damaged as well which couldn’t be known until we powered it on. Overall such a terrible experience, save yourself the trouble and go with a more reputable company who will care about their clients.

   I moved New York to South Carolina. They lost my too many items.worst moving company.they lost almost 600$ stuff.they giving me 50$ for that.when I try to call he don’t have to pick up call. Never use again al’s moving

   Poor Service.

   I had a very bad experience with Als Movers and Storage in White Plains. They were late, rude, they broke one of my items and didn't apologize and were not truthful during the process - from inital estimate to completion. When we called the company to express our dissatisfaction, the owner of the company told us our comments were not valid. The forman on the job was impolite and not accomodating or forthcoming and told us when they were halfway done that we needed to pay them in full (in cash) before they would unload the rest of our boxes/furniture. I would not recommend them to anyone.
