   If I could give no stars I would! Long overdue review

   This company has made my life a living he$&! I had spent hours on the phone with the representative Kayla and trusted her information about the company without having done proper research due to time constraints. I secured them with a deposit after a negotiated agreement of around $1823 ($523.00 deposit, $650 due at pickup, and $650 due at drop-off). The pickup date was set for Sat. June 27th, 2020. A few days prior they were supposed to call to do a final inventory. I realized I had more boxes and called a few days prior to get a re-quote. Kayla had told me people do that all the time and it would be no big deal. No one ever called back and so when the day before pickup arrived, now the Inventory Manager was very upset that I had to get the quote and then undo it because he was trying to charge me another $1200 for some extra boxes. He was very rude and argumentative to the point where I was very uncomfortable and hung up. I called and asked to speak to someone else and told them what happened and they sent me to him again. I tried again until I got a Customer Service Manager named Holly. I let her know what happened and she was very empathetic and apologetic and said she'd make sure the contract was edited back to the original amount of $1823. This never happened. We've made dozens of calls over the few weeks about various things and never got calls back. The day they came to pick us up (which was a day late) we were now rushed because we still had to drive 6 hrs, and so I was rushed signing the paperwork then realized by page 3 the higher incorrect total. The driver said they would need to call me to sort it out. It never happened. They never delivered my stuff and hung up on me when weeks later I asked what was going on. They pretended they would bring my stuff a couple more times and it still never arrived. They've continued to try and extort us for more money and won't let anyone speak on my behalf to resolve this. They emailed us a month ago stating it was in local storage and we didn't need to pay anything but just pick it up before it's auctioned off, but the storage facility doesn't have my stuff. I put a claim dispute for the deposit because of the breach of contract, and a month later they used the signed documents from the pick-up with the false amounts as proof and reversed the claim causing my bank account to be overdrawn $250. I now have to borrow rent, bills, and other funds. I still don't have my belongings nor do I know where they are. My SS card and other important documents are among these boxes causing even more issues now. I never wanted my items in storage, It was to be delivered in 2-7 days from a temp-controlled truck. It's not my fault they didn't secure the drivers. Then they jerked us around for the past 4 months! I've been locked out of my original contract for months also. They are saying we owe $1800 to the storage company for 4 months of storage we never asked for after sending the email that we don't owe anything and just to pick it up. We called the storage places they claimed my belongings were and there was no record of anything under my name. It took me two years to finally post my drafted review here. I still to this day never received my belongings nor did I receive any compensation.

   Worst bunch of crooks I've ever dealt with...

   Was immediately held hostage with having to pay more than our estimate for our move by packers saying we'd utilize the cubic feet of a 53' trailer even though our estimate was good...and we had our items delivered in 1/2 a 53' trailer. Ended up paying 2.5 times more than our quote with real number of boxes for them to estimate. "Supervisor" Haim out of NJ never called back and did not care about our items not being delivered or damaged. They lost the headboard to our sleigh bed...not sure how that happens when they load it and unload it. These guys are a racket and I would never recommend them being utilized for a move.

   Do Not Use This Company

   I paid to have a move done, which they never did. I called 20+ times, left voicemails and sent emails. They never returned my calls. Had to wait on hold for over 25 minutes to get someone on the phone only to be told they would call me back, which didn't happen. They would not provide a move date more than 24 hours in advance. I had to hire a real moving company and when I finally got a response from Alliance, which was too late, they would not issue a refund even though they did not provide a service. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

   Stay Away

   This is a moving broker that allows any driver to take your goods. There bids are cut very low for you to sign documents. Real cost comes as the crew picking up your goods tells you its three times + more. Now your stuck as your home sale closes in hours. Alliance has no control over drivers time or cost. They will not honor original bid. Stay away. Find local trucking CO and work with them.

   Bowel Movers

   If you want your BOWELS moved, this moving company is for you! Hired Alliance Moving and Storage to move my parent’s clothing, dining room table, and baby grand piano from Seattle to Phoenix.  It was supposed to be a rather simple move across three states.  It ended up being a long financial trip around the bend of the Bend Over Highway.  First, this BOWELS moving company is no moving company at all. It is a broker out of Florida, which hired a moving company (253.800.9053) out of the Seattle area to move my folks.  This is exactly what Alliance is….a broker ready to break your balls and bank account.  The representative on the phone, William (478.410.7995), tells you exactly what you want to hear regarding the terms and conditions.  But in reality, what he and this company tell you versus what really takes place are two entirely different things. This ranges from misleading and false delivery dates to costs that are quick to change. This BOWELS moving company told my folks that their belongings would arrive on December 7th, one day after my parents moved into their new house. After receiving the down payment and other fees, William stopped answering the phone. Others in the company offered excuses and stated that they actually have up to three weeks to execute the delivery. They provided an initial quote for the entire job to my father and stated its cost estimates are fairly accurate. If you’ve read this far, I refer back to the first line of this post.  To add insult to this long and grueling trip over Bend Over Mountain, the moving company, hired by this bowel moving broker, broke a TV and was kind enough to allow us to discover it. Clearly it shoved a large PENIS in its mouth. No one said a word.  I tried to call the moving company and got a massive run around in automated phone hell. I’m sure it will blame it’s lack of communication and customer response on COVID.  Bottom line…if you want the depths of your financial bowels to get moved along with some broken furniture, Alliance Moving and Storage is for you.  If you don’t want to feel like you just underwent a major procedure involving dishonesty, misleading statements, and used car salesmen tactics — I strongly encourage you to take some vitamins and call another moving company.  These guys will drain the blood out of a tampon if you let them!

   Very crooked

   Do not trust anything a person from Alliance tells you, we were quoted $6700 for our move, a different company associated with Alliance came on moving day, and stated the price has changed to $33,000. Or they wouldn’t move anything. Now Alliance is refusing to return the moving deposit, very crooked scammers

   Oregon to Virginia Move

   My first experience with a cross-country move. Moved from Oregon to Virginia where I'm now stationed, and got a fair quote as well as a discount I qualified for due to amount of cubic feet we had. They worked with my husband and I financially and allowed us to delay payment as needed. However, only after everything was packed and loaded in the truck, were we notified that our final price would be DOUBLE our initial quote. Called the employee's direct line who gave the initial quote, and didn't offer any assistance other than taking it up with customer service. Called customer service SEVERAL times, and instead of working something out, proceeded to be defensive, screamed at my husband, and hung up on us twice. They've since refused to talk with us now. The unprofessional treatment we've received is appalling. Would absolutely recommend doing your research and don't recommend this company whatsoever.

   This company is a FRAUD

   I paid for my items to be delivered from California to Texas on July 3, 2021. My items have still not been delivered. I have reached out several times and no one has returned my calls or emails. I have asked if I could pick my things up on my own, with no response. I am out $2,100 + all my things that are irreplaceable. I am now going to have to file a lawsuit in civil court since I have yet to hear anything!

   Upcharge scammers

   Do not use this company! It is a bait and switch. They contract outside sourced mom and pop movers that rent moving trucks and charge you twice as much as certified moving companies. I was charged over $10,000 to move a small 1200 sq ft 2 br condo from Virginia to Mississippi. I am so mad at myself.

    Lack of communication

    I don’t know what “you will be contacted 2 or 3 days prior to pick up” meant to them. Never received any call, and I tried contacting company to give them idea of what I had to be shipped. Therefore they came with a truck too small and charged me an additional $2500. In addition Alliance subcontracted shipment to Deluxe Moving and Storage (they are even worse than Alliance) My pickup date was May 30th. My shipment arrived July 16. Items were missing and inquiries have been ignored and mail has been returned as undeliverable. This was a move from northern NY to NC. I made an 800 mile trip back to NY, rented U-haul boxes to get the remaining items to NC. That was another $1800. U-haul was excellent, time frame on schedule and very helpful. I have been told once Alliance subcontracted the move, they are no longer involved in taking care of my problems. My advice, beware of smooth talkers and lack of any help once they get their down payment.
