   I was impressed.

   I was apprehensive about calling a moving company because I didn't want to start the tedious process of moving. Finally I called Alpine after three days of putting it off. Dana was amazingly helpful, walking me through the steps and explaining everything clearly. Dana made the moving process so transparent. I never thought moving could be so clear and simple. Of course the move was long and tiring, but that's to be expected I suppose. Everything went as smoothly as a move can go. I was impressed by the mover’s apparent skill and professionalism. I have a couple of pieces of antique furniture and I was quite pleased with the care that the movers handled them with. Thanks Dana and Alpine for a smooth move.

   My smooth move experience.

   This is a very exciting time in my life. Let me back track. I am a musician. I have been playing in dive bars, cover bands, and pretty much anywhere with a PA system for the past 10 years. When I got the news of my new job working music production for NBC I was ecstatic. I had to move sort of quickly so I got cracking and getting my stuff over to Cali. I called 4 companies. I settled on Alpine Moving for one simple reason, THEY ACTULLY KNOW WHAT THERE DOING! Bryan was my consultant for the project. He was the main reason I booked with Alpine Moving. All the other companies I spoke with seemed nice and respectful. However, I felt like I was getting eyed to death. Alpine Moving clearly defined the limitations and the exceptions. His crew that he hand picked was great. His crew busted their butts lugging my heavy amps, sofa, and everything up three flights of stairs. And the icing on the cake is there was no damage. I am embarking on a very important journey in my life. I have never been happier and Alpine Moving just kept the positive vibes going with the excellent service they provided me. I will always speak highly when asked about Alpine Moving. Thanks again.

   I have moved many times in my life, but I have NEVER experienced such superb quality, professional handling or courteous and efficient, skillful movers like Alpine Moving.I am so impressed by your service, I almost want to move again!    Scammers

   My price went up, my stuff came late, they avoided any type of communication in between pickup and delivery and I am missing boxes and some furniture and the process to claim everything takes more time and cost then everything in my house is worth. When they put two beds back together at delivery my daughter sat on the mattress and fell to the floor because they could not even do that correctly. I could go on with even more stuff but I think you get the drift do not use these people you will be sorry, as I am. I see in the description it says not to use abusive or vulgar language that's pretty funny when this is what they draw out of you with their service

   Out of State Move from Denver to Maine

   Not only did this company double the cost from the original estimate but now that they have picked our belongings up March 9, 2021 they have neglected to keep us updated on our promised arrival date set for March 26th and informed us that they have NO way to get our shipment to our new location, as of 5 days ago. This is more than just unacceptable, its blatant disregard and theft! If they had NO means of getting our shipment to us in the 1st place, why commit to picking it up? Lack of communication and NO one will answer the customer service line. DONT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! I had to give them at least one star but they fail to deserve it!

   Not Honest - Have not Received Furniture yet.

   - will say& do anything to get your business "we have a truck going to your area, that is why we can offer a low price", "in 3 days, it will be to the delivery address" well, Its been 12 days & don't have my furniture - late by a day when picking up at original address (said his employees had covid) - the driver arrived late when picking up- I've called & emailed about my delivery to final destination, they are not responding What a hassle! Also, operate under Sunrise Van Lines.

   FRAUD Company, blackmailed me for more money.

   Didn't arrive until four days after I had to get on a plane to move across the country. Had to have a friend let them into my old home. The mover showed up super late with two guys he hired off of craigslist. They got in a KNIFE FIGHT, yes a KNIFE FIGHT because the man guy decided he didn't want to pay the craigslist guys. They then had half the stuff on the roof of the truck in the SNOW because it didn't fit as they had picked up other previous peoples stuff in there as well. Waiting for my items they kept calling and swearing at me saying if I didn't wire them more money they'd leave my items in the snow. When my items arrived they tried to tell me key furniture items didn't exist (like my couch), and when I looked at the truck there it was. They also said I had to pay another 1200 or they were driving away with my items. I didn't have enough time to call the cops and was honestly so stressed and upset that I admittedly gave in. They gave me a lower rate if I'd agree to pay cash and not tell their boss. Items were broken, my EZ Pass was stolen (easy to trace to their partner company in chicago, it was running up tolls all over Illinois) as well as several valuables were all together removed. I was given a fake gmail email for "complaints" and to get reimbursed for damages. I was a single woman and got totally hosed. DO NOT USE.

   Fraudulent Movers!! Please Beware.

   Please beware of using this company to move your items!! THEY ARE FRAUDULENT!! Alpine has all the right things to say when you are booking your move and they are excepting your deposit; but they do not deliver as they promised. Jay and Tom consistently tell you they have been in business for years and you can trust what they say; well don't. They promised to move my belongings to Louisiana from Michigan and my pick-up would take place on Friday 12/11/15 and delivered to New Orleans on 12/16/15 all for 1400.00 with a 350.00 deposit deposited into a Bank of America account. I deposited the money on Tuesday 12/8/15 and was told that dispatch (Tom) would contact me to set-up a pick-up time and I would here from them on Wednesday 12/9/15 well no one called and I had to call Alpine (Tom) back and he assured me I would here from Tom surprise, surprise Tom called right away and said that not to worry that the driver has my info and will call me on Thursday to confirm my Friday 12/11/15 am pick-up. Well once again no one called and when I called back Thursday evening I got the run around from Tom and Jay stating they would call me back. Neither called and on Friday morning I didn't have a driver nor did anyone have information on when my belongings would be picked up. I made numerous phone calls with the same answer stating they would call me back. After 3 to 4 hours Jay called me to say that the driver was held-up in Chicago and that my belongings would not be moved until Monday 12/14/2015. Well this was totally unacceptable and Jay knew that; when I booked a moving truck on 12/8/15. I had to be in New Orleans on the 14th and had booked a flight for myself and my two children to fly out on the 12th. It was based on his confirmation that my belongings would be picked-up on the 11th that I booked those flights. Jay and Tom in my opinion where well aware of their drivers delay and their inability to deliver my belongings as promised. I did not have the luxury to wait for them to place me on hold and continue to say we will call you back. My confidence in this company was truly gone due to the way they handled my phone calls and their giving me the run around and not being up front with me regarding the whole situation. After it all I had to rent a Penske Truck, pack all my belongings into it and drive 1100 miles to New Orleans which costed me $767.00 plus $260.00 in gas as well as $80.00 for a hotel. I also lost $257.00 in air fare due to having to cancel my flights. I am still trying to recover my deposit and it is not easy. Please do not trust this company, they are horrible and do not deliver as promised. I have contacted the Florida Department of Transportation office to report them as well as the Federal Bureau of Investigation to report their fraudulent activites. "PLEASE BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY".

   Big fraud.

   No delivery/contact till estimated delivery date, nobody picks up phone or responds to emails. Charged extra at pickup, no guarantee of delivery. Contacted Mr.Jay Stevens for move from CO to CT, he assured to seal the deal by 1. confirming estimated pickup date- 15th Sep, est. delivery date- 24th-25th Sep in the quote; 2. assuring no extra charges for stairs and 3. all payments to be done at time of delivery. He called numerous times till $500 advance paid in company account in bank of America on Sep 4th. Problems: 1. Not reachable when No pickup on 15th, had to call several times on 14th, 15th, 16th Sep to know about the problem. No answers. (not in deal) 2. A local mover arranged by Alpine came to pickup our stuff on Sep 17th, charged for stairs and extra boxes. ORIGINAL ESTIMATE of $2020 became $2570. Joe took half payment at pickup. (not in deal) 3. Dispatch personnel Tom told us to pay half amount that time and confirmed to adjust and revise the estimate accordingly. (not yet done) 4. No one picked up stuff from Colorado warehouse even after a week. Now Joe says he does not know, contact Alpine. Called Tom on 24th, kept us on hold for more than 1 hour. never called back or picked up again on Sep 25th, 26th. 5. Emailed Jay Stevens several times, he just sent one sentence reply that he is no longer responsible and can't answer. 6. Tom and Jay told they are in this business since last 10-15 years and we are unnecessarily worried, However the amount is hard-earned money which they took and did not sent a receipt yet. Everything was done at the last minute, when we had no other option but to simply agree to their terms at the moment. Now they have not sent us the revised estimate with increased price till today (10-13-2015), or any of the receipt of payments done or any information about the new schedule to deliver our stuff. Took advantage of us. We did not suspect such fraud and frustrating behavior from any services in the US.
