   This company must be close they are sheeting America people i have very bad moving stuff with them start from 5 to 10 business day then I get my stuff after two months in terrible way raining in my stuff Lyres people sheeting people don’t believe any thing they said don’t deal with them I have pictures for everything and videos and I will take them to court soon

   Just say "no". I don't care what quote they give you. Lord knows when I will ever see my things again. Certainly not in the 6 - 14 days promised. That passed a long time ago. Their subcontractor is just as non-communicative. I think AM&F works with other small movers in concert to scam and they split the ill-gotten gains. The two put you in a "good cop bad cop" situation. Wish I would have forfeited the $576 deposit I gave them and moved on. Lesson learned.

   This company is HORRIBLE! DO NOT USE THEM! This company isnt actually a moving conpany. Almost all of our stuff was broken or crushed and they are missing the hardware for our beds. This company is a broker only and now we cannot contact them. They are super unhelpful and do not take any responsibility for their movers they do contract to complete their jobs. Save yourself the time, money, and hassle and go with a verified company like Mayflower. You will be happier in the long run.

   Fraudulent Business Practices

   I paid for American Moving and Freight LLC on Sept 8, 2022 to move me on Oct 1, 2022. Florida Secretary of State deemed the company inactive on Sept 23,2022 and they were to cease conducting business until corporation was released to do so. They appear to be using 2 different company, American Moving and Freight LLC (Frederick Knott) and American Moving & Freight LLC, (Demetrious Arvanites who is the contact on this site) interactively under a DOT license for American Moving and Freight LLC and writing contracts using both companies interactively. When I brought this to their attention on the day of my move, they refused to address they were fraudulently conducting business with my insurance company refusing to insure my move as a result of the business being inactive. My contract like others they show on this site, is void and not enforceable with ACH payments taken against a contract designed to misrepresent the business and fraudulently mislead consumers. I have requested my deposit back as this was fraud. They refused. I have filed will with the State of Florida Agriculture and Consumers Division (9 complaints with FMCA in last 3 months), State of Arizona AG and Corporate Commission, DOT, FDACS, Better Business Bureau, etc.

   Move delivery delayed over 8 weeks

   I contracted through American Moving and Freight for my move at ~1500 miles for around $4000. They sub-contracted the move through ES Van lines. I was told by a sales rep that it should be 7-14 business days from my first available date and at most 21 business days. I has now been 40 business days without furniture and despite near constant calls to ES Van lines, I have not been given any ETA or any reimbursement despite furniture being picked up 9 weeks ago. AMF says that this is all up to ES Van lines and that they can’t help me. In addition, my initial quote was said to include moving blankets, but ES Van lines charged me an extra $400 for those. AMF said that I could not dispute the charges because I signed and paid cash. This part is more of my fault, but something for others to watch out for and read their contract carefully. If you want a realistic move timeline, do NOT contract with AMF or ES Van lines. I’ll add an update if my stuff ever arrives…

   Had to rent a uhaul last minute because I didn’t trust them to show up. They had already changed my pick up time twice and if they didn’t show up the last time it would be too late to rent a truck so I had to forfeit my 1/3 deposit and cancel my pick up. I think someone should look into them for this outrageous behavior that leaves you no choice. Them missed my quality inspection and 2 pickups so what choice did I have. I do believe they should refund my deposit

THE 5 STAR REVEIWS HERE ARE FAKE, PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE 1 STAR REVEIWS. IF YOU WANT TO BE GROSSLY UPCHARGED, ILL-ADVISED, ILL-INFORMED, WAIT 2WEEKS FOR ANY KIND OF UPDATE AFTER YOUR STUFF IS PICKED UP, THEN NEVER GET A CALL BACK AND GET HUNG UP ON MULTIPLE TIMES AND DISRESPECTED BY WAYNE ESPECIALLY, THEN THESE ARE YOUR PEOPLE. I HAD TO CALL THE CARRIER MYSELF TO FIGURE THE REST OF THIS OUT WHICH I WAS ABLE TO DO IN A MATTER OF MINUTES BUT THEY COULDNT DO IN 2 WEEKS?? ALSO, YOU CANT GET A SUPERVISOR/MANAGEMENT ON THE PHONE BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL SUPERVISORS??? WHAT A SCAM!!!! WHEN I FINALLY GOT A "SUPERVISOR", MATT, ALL I COULD HEAR WAS SCREAMING PEOPLE IN THE BACKGROUND. SO I AM NOT THE ONLY MAD CUSTOMER. NOT TO MENTION THE TRUCK THEY SENT HAGGLED US FOR A TIP AND LAUGHED IN OUR FACES WHEN WE COULDNT PROVIDE ONE BECAUSE THEY DOUBLED OUR COST DEPSITE US PROVIDING A THOUROUGH LIST TO QA PRIOR TO THE TRUCK ARRIVING. THEY HIDE BEHIND PAPERWORK THEY DONT UPDATE OR TELL YOU THAT YOU NEED TO CHANGE AND RESIGN. THEY SAY ITS NOT THEIR FAULT IF THE ITEMS ARE OVERSIZED IN COMPARISON TO THE QUOTE. THEY UNDERQUOTE TO GET YOUR BUSIENSS AND RIP YOU OFF ONCE THE TRUCK IS LOADED. I AM DISGUSTED, ALL OF THESE EMPLOYEES SHOULD FEAR THE KARMA THEY ARE BRINGING UPON THEMSELVES BY WORKING FOR SUCH A CORRUPT "COMPANY". THE 5 STAR EXPERIENCE I WAS SOLD ON IS A COMPLETE LIE. THEY WILL NOT WORK WITH YOU, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. IT TOOK OVER 40 DAYS FOR OUR DELIVERY TO ARRIVE WHICH BROKE THE CONTRACT BUT THEY NEVER REFUNDED US OR MADE ANYTHING RIGHT. DO NOT BOOK HERE. CALL BUDGET VAN LINES DIRECTLY.

    ZERO STARS! If you give af about you and your families personal belongings, DO NOT eff with this bs ass company that will literally rob you. I don’t know how these mfs are still in business. I’ve never been scammed before and that’s exactly what AMF will do to you. We were scheduled to have the movers come within a three day window and NO ONE showed up! So my wife and I have all of our kids stuff packed and need to be out of the apartment by the first and no one shows! What the eff?!! So then we had to rent a damn truck to load all of our stuff because we could not wait and take the chance that the movers would somehow show up because if our stuff was still in the old unit they would bill us for that months rent. AMF would have us on hold for 45 minutes to an hour, then tell us someone from “dispatch” would call us but never did after hanging up. We asked for this “dispatch” number so we could reach out ourselves and they refused to give the number. I paid a $1400 deposit that they are refusing to return. I never cancelled services because no movers ever showed up or called us, so no need to worry about the 24 hour cancellation period because this is plain and simple SERVICES NOT RENDERED so I don’t see why they refuse to refund us our deposit that my family needs because of unexpected spending due to AMFs unprofessional and inconsistent communication not to mention their shady way of dismissing you if they don’t have an answer for you promising someone will return your call but never will. They keep saying someone from AMF called prior to our move date to confirm the pick up date, but callIng to confirm a date of pickup and actually showing up on that date are 2 very different things. We were stood up with NO HELP. AMFs customer service after hour line is a damn bot. And one things for sure AMF, you messed with the wrong family. People please take heed to these reviews and better yet go to the BBB website and read the reviews for this dumb ass company.
