   Unorganized and slow

   Holy shit! What an absolute Gong Show! Worst movers I've had. I specifically ordered for an EMPTY 26ft moving truck ~1690 cu.ft. through SWIFT SHIFT VAN LINES, another bunch of chuckle-f**KS that ruined my day. Arena Van Lines sends out two dudes at 11am with a truck that already has a load in it and only ~500cu.ft. of space. Then they proceed to tell me my move will be 2100cuft. And upquote me by $3000. I don't care. I ordered an EMPTY 26FT truck ~1690cu.ft., not for you to overestimate my property. He proceeds to tell me that they'll wrap the furniture today and come back tomorrow and load it. Dude, I don't think so. This is a 1 day move. He tells me "it's a heavy job". Yes, it's a job about moving people's furniture. And a 3bed-2.5bath, 2300sqft. Isn't THAT big of a job. I moved everything in here 2 years ago without a moving company in a 26ft. Truck. And I've gotten rid of things since then. After 1.5 hours of back and forth, finally get them to agree to ~1690 cu. Ft. And they leave for an hour to rent an empty truck from Uhaul. They start at 3:45pm....as of writing this, it's 9pm and they're less than half through. One dude makes frequent trips to the truck empty handed. Sometimes he follows the other dude who is carrying a box....but he's still not holding anything.

   Missing Items Florida to Texas

   If anyone that has moved in early April to now happens to come across a box with a stuffed Pua pig and a black gift bag labeled "Violet" all in a box with my socks and other clothing. Please, please reach out to me. Violet is my 15 year old chihuahua and those are her remains in the sealed wooden box as well as a clay paw print, an ink paw print as well as a little clipping of her hair in the ribbon. While I have much more missing from this move, she is irreplaceable.

   Terrible Experience from Texas to South Carolina

   We initially spoke with Swift Shift van lines, and Arena van lines showed up on the day of our move. The drive increased our cost from 4,500 to $7,500 stating we were taking up more cubic feet. Then he said our stuff would arrive 5/25/24. It is now 6/4/24 and they are blocking our calls, and when we call from different numbers, they tell us there is no date set for our delivery. They also refuse to allow us to speak with the manager, and couldn't tell us who the owner of the company was. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY and do not use any other company that contracts with them.

   Worst company ever. They over charged by 285 cubic foot after delivering my stuff to storage. I contacted them to get a refund of 901.00 and they offered 300.00 refund I have refused this refund and reported them to the bbb

   WORST COMPANY IVE EVER DEALT WITH

   In Oct 2023 I inquired about moving from Co to Az, I was quoted a " Veterans Day Special of $5000. The movers came and none of them spoke English, that's a problem! Then once they had my belonging s loaded, they added "bogus fees" amounting $11,000 more!!! Then they came to deliver my belongings in AZ, 2 weeks later than agreed upon delivery date.Again, non English speaking movers. They left without letting us know. I have things that are still missing. AND they broke my 70" TV that was a newer one. When I called to report it and sent pics, I just got a letter with their decision. They are ONLY OFFERING $.60/LB TO REPLACE THE TV THEY BROKE, TOTALING$34.80.When you see Arena VanLines, run the other way or be scammed! Worst experience Ever!

   Move from New Mexico to Florida with arena van lines

   You better think twice before you use this movers, started on with united van lines they sold off to arena van lines bottom line they lost my triple dresser mirror, 40 inch Samsung Smart TV and the stand it set on and they decided to give us $66 dollars what a job there's more to this story but save your money or give it away because they will destroy your property or just lose it, we can't buy the TV for that money so please don't use these two companies you will regret it I promise you

   Fraudulent Company

   Was subcontracted by Gulf Stream Van Lines. Late coming. Lied about items to be moved and over charged me for square footage. Move was over $2000 more than initially quoted. Told me my things would be delivered in 5 days and it was delivered one day shy of 3 weeks. Lost items and tried to give me items that didn’t belong to me. Sent one mover to unload my things so we had to help. The two initial movers were not friendly. This company is not trustworthy. They drained me financially.

   On delivery while standing next to the trailer I heard one of my big screen tv's fall inside Arena's trailer. The tv was ruined and Arena's Claim Dept offered me $39 for my $1200 tv. Find another mover!

   Very Poor Experience

   If you want your move to be anyway less stressful by hiring movers, this company is not the way to go. Trust me, don’t do it to yourself. They were days behind schedule and had a ton of hidden fees. Poor communication, barely speak english. Different men for move out and move in, only two men each time so it took forever. They charge you by how much space you take in their truck(only to have it delivered in a different truck), and they charge with how many stairs you have. They have made our move more stressful than what it should of been. It is impossible to get in contact with any form of supervisor. They will not tell you what time they are arriving till the day of and still be late. When you speak with customer service they will talk over you and disregard all your frustrations. We have spent over 5k with this company and it was the poorest experience for that price. I honestly felt bad for the men moving the stuff since it was only two of them, hard labor. This company does not seem legit at all, don’t trust them. They only accept cash, zelle, or venmo and they claimed to not receive our zelle delaying the whole process.

    Beware!

    If I could give a zero rating, I would. First of all, my state is not even listed (Kansas) as a destination. I contacted Nationwide movers to move me from Houston TX to Wichita KS and had no idea that they were going to broker this job out. They called me the day before I was schedule to load and stated that they had a truck available and could not guarantee that I would be able to have a pickup in time to make my closing if I did not take this driver. I was then brokered out to Arena Van lines and the nightmare began. I was promised 4-5 men to load a 3-bedroom house and 2 guys showed up. It took them until the night to get everything on the truck and they of course halfway through let me know that the cost would go up because I had more boxes (keep in mind that I had already paid an extra fee to Nationwide for the additional boxes) The cost went from the quoted $6,000.00 for the move to a total of over $8,000.00. I paid extra for select items (mirrors and marble tables) to be packed by the movers so it was very disheartening with I noticed that all they did was take boxes that I had purchased to pack, cut them up, wrap a blanket around the item and then tape the box around the item (he used so many of the boxes that I had purchased and we ran short of packing boxes). They put boxes on the truck that were empty and charged me for them and left other items that had been paid for to transport. The drop off of my items was another nightmare as the driver would not open the truck to let me look at the contents until I paid him in cash (I believe this is considered holding your belongings hostage). As they brought in my belongings, I noticed that several things were broken and attempted to address it but because neither of the 2 individuals that were off loading spoke English, all they would say was that they did not load the items. They then proceeded to knock holes in the walls of my new house to the point that I started crying. I had marked all the boxes with what room they were to go into and marked the rooms as well as the walls to indicate where the items should be placed. None of this was honored and most of the boxes were dumped in the front room regardless of how they were marked. Months later when I got all of the boxes in place and started to unpack, I found out that 4 boxes (one out of each of the rooms- one box contained a clock that was a jewelry box with gold jewelry in it) had been taken and my belongings were gone. Unfortunately, I found this out after I had submitted a claim, but it would have made no difference because the insurance company got out of pay for the thousands of dollars of damaged that was done by saying that the pay 60 cents per pound. The insurance company offered me $247.00 for weel over 2-3 thousand dollars' worth of damage and disregarded the 30 photographs that I sent to them. I believe that Nationwide is a rip-off company as they continuously state that it is in the contract when you attempt to bring up a concern and Arena Vanlines should be charged for the number of scams that they are running as I have read over 20 reviews that are so close to what I experienced that I have flashbacks. The items I listed to Nationwide did not change drastically but the cost went from 6,000.00 to over 8,700.00 at the end when they had my belongings on the truck and knew I had to be in Kansas by a certain date. There also appears to be a criminal sense of Planned Lack of Accountability as all the drivers are non-English speaking and take not responsibility for anything. Please, Please do not use either of these companies if you treasure your belongings.
