   This company is a complete fraud

   We contracted this moving company for our move from CA to Florida in mid 2021. Everything seemed fine until we gave them our $2,670 deposit. When we were getting closer to our move date we tried to contact them to set up the details, and they were IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with, by e-mail or telephone. No response to e-mails OR phone, only could leave a message which they never would return. We've reported them to the state of Florida but are very doubtful we'll ever receive our money. These people are nothing more than criminals.

   I would give a MINUS 10 if I could. Hunter Johnson is a liar. He said he would refund my money for property theft by East Freight Logistics. That company dumped our belongings in various warehouses throughout the west. After 7 months, I still don't have ANYTHING. He said he would refund, but not 1 dime has been sent. He also says his email works. NO IT DOESN'T. He is probably operating under a different name. I will post everywhere to keep other people from falling for this crook and his crooked employees. He deserves to be in prison and that is where I hope he goes.

   AFTER POSTING THIS I HAVE BEEN CALLED AT LEAST 20 TIMES AND THREATENED BY AMG UPDATE: AUTHORITY BLOCKED MY NUMBER AND PAID ME TO TAKE DOWN MY REVIEW DO NOT USE AUTHORITY MOVING GROUP!!!!!!! I recently used this company fro a move for my husbands job from Georgia to North Dakota When searching for a moving company I contacted Authority Moving Group not knowing they were a brokerage as this information was never disclosed. AT first everything was great everyone was very nice. They contracted me with Falcon Moving LLC without my knowledge as I was lead to believe Authority would be moving me. I found out about Falcon when their dispatch reached out to me. This is where our nightmare began: Original moving window from Authority Moving Group: 3/19/21 - 1-5PM Pushed moving window to 3/20 1-5, moving company never arrived. After speaking with Jessica @ Falcon, guaranteed me a pick up window on Sunday 3/21 between 8-10 AM - no one showed- called Authority and Falcon Moving multiple times and no one could give me an answer as to where the truck was. NO contact all day and then finally at 545 PM On Sunday 3/21. The foreman of the moving crew told me "I don't know why they would have told you we were going to be here Friday." When movers arrived they were aggressive, dropped boxes on cement car port. Stripped children’s wooden bunk beds of wood after asking if I had a screwdriver and were upset when I informed them I didn’t because all of my belongings were in boxes. Charged 2x the quoted amount. Paid $2080 in cash on 3/21/21 to Falcon Moving in addition to $1350 deposit paid to Authority. (this was already over full cost of estimate given by Authority.) I was told I would still owe $2073.70 at delivery to unload my items. 2x estimate. Authority quoted 426 cubic feet ended up needing 826. The foreman then asked me why I didn't have a tip for them while I was basically cornered in my kitchen. I had no tip because I had to pay the inflated amount they charged to load my items, and the bank was now closed because it was 8 PM on a Sunday.... When contacting authority on multiple occasions for updates on my move they placed me on holds of up to 45 and upon answering told me they didn’t have any answers for me. After being unable to receive answers from AMG I contacted Jessica from Falcon moving. Same scenario, long holds, no information on where my belongings were, no estimated delivery dates, she also blamed my moving experience on where I moved even though they contracted to do so, eventually explaining to me "no one wants to deliver to North Dakota" and proceeding to call me names and then ignore any further calls. NO resolution. I asked her about the discount she apparently wanted to give me based off of my experience this far according to Brinae at Authority and she told me she isn’t giving me a discount until my things are dropped off. (Makes 0 sense because I have to pay before truck is unloaded). Items were finally delivered yesterday, 5/13/2021 after no contact from either moving company since 4/26/2021. 53 days after first available delivery date listed on contract after being promised a move that would be completed in 4-14 days. AT delivery we were told we needed to pay for a shuttling service as they could not fit truck into our complex. I had provided maps to Authority and Falcon of our complex and was only told on the day of delivery that we would now have to pay extra for shuttle ($500). Upon receiving our items, boxes were completely destroyed, items were broken, and some completely missing. Mattresses were covered in grease and dirt. The movers also damaged paint on our walls while moving items. Upon contacting Authority this morning asking if I could get my deposit back as they did not stay within their contract Brinae informed me "we can help you file a claim against Falcon, but usually we dont follow up after your delivery is complete." The whole experience from pick up to delivery was horrible. I would not wish what we have gone through the past 7 weeks on ANYONE. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!

   If I could give them a minus rating, I would. I booked a move with them, than needed to back out because our sale fell thru. They had required a 25% deposit which amounted to over $3500. The deposit was not refundable after 30 days. My 1st mistake was agreeing to their terms. When I realized that I had no idea when I would be moving, I pleaded my case, and they agreed that if I signed a document about the refund, they they would send me $1000 refund. I signed the paperwork, and thanked them for their understanding and cooperation. Then they mailed me a check that I deposited and 5 days later it was returned, NSF. We finally sold our house, and we used United Van lines, who required no deposit, and gave us as good a deal as Authority initially offered. Authority movers are not honest, their scam artists, and I would not used them if they were the last moving company on earth! Read the other reviews. They have left many people high & dry!! DO NOT USE AUTHORITY MOVERS!! YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!

   I was told they would bring a 26 ft truck for $7,500 I tried for 2 weeks to call them to ask them how to pack things no one ever returned my call I got my bank involved which informed me if I canceled it that I would lose $2,700 so finally they called me because the bank was involved. They were supposed to call me the day before September 23rd for a head count of my items which they did not do. The guys driving the truck called me and said they would be here on the 24th I told them they were supposed to be here on the 23rd when they finally showed up they told me it wasn't going to be $7,500 it was going to be $17,000 so I have a choice to either cancel and lose my deposit or pay $17,000 so I told him to stick it up their butt and I took the loss of $2,700 this company is a scam

   This company is great until they have your money. Booked a move with them, paid a $1400 deposit and no movers showed up. Been trying to get refund back and you cannot talk with anyone but customer service. I tried for eight weeks, calling and emailing everyday, and never got one call or response. Total SCAM. Be careful. This is an awful company who steals your money. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

   Phone estimates are Deceiving

   I spend more than an hour in the phone giving them all the details of things that needed to be moved, they gave me an estimate and then the day of the move, the movers come and asked for $1500 extra or they wouldn’t do the move! what can you do at that point? Cancel your moving? No, if you do it they will keep half of the total cost that you already pay! The estimates are totally deceiving!

   HUGE RED FLAG that you cannot get ahold of ANYONE at this company by phone or email. All they have is a generic answering service with two women who say they will "take a message". But it literally goes nowhere.. You cannot get ahold of anyone and they do not answer your emails back. It's been over two months and the refund they promised me has never been received. I doubt at this point I will get it from them, so that means not only will I not receive any services, but they pocketed my $872 that I paid for my deposit. I followed the directions per their cancellation procedures and I received confirmation that I would receive a refund in the mail. That was the last time I heard from them, which was back in July 16th. NO response or follow-up after to my multiple requests, calls and emails. ZERO. It's crazy because all I wanted was confirmation that my refund was even sent?? Or if they sent it to the correct address. Nothing. I have heard NOTHING back from them. So my only conclusion is they are liars and thieves. Do not use this company!!! They are super sketch. James Perkins my rep is a wolf in sheep clothing. He will desert you the second he gets your money and will not call, email, or follow up after. Pathetic excuse for a company and horrible way to treat customers. DO NOT USE THEM!

    company -Scam and thieves

    they are frauds and thieves! they stole my file cabinet(all my important papers. Try to contact no answer. charged me extra cost and wouldn't deliver until pay them, said they would leave and wouldn't let me check. I have to file charges against them in the state my storage came from Las Vegas, not in RI. I was left with missing and damaged items. I paid over $5,000. 2bedroom apartment
