   Perfect Movers

   The driver was agreeable and turned up on time. My things arrived the same day without being damaged in my new apartment in Arizona City. The driver was accommodating, getting all my belongings into my new house. Everything was fantastic, from placing the order to the delivery of the items. The service was first-class and top-notch. Customer service kept in touch throughout the move. We would use Beacon Movers again for the move.

   Single parent still recovering from the cost

   Beacon Moving advertises as if they support you through the entire moving process, including estimating the cost of your household goods. In reality, what they do is push you into paying a high, non-refundable down payment so you feel obligated to follow through with their company. They rely on a cheap, inaccurate computer system to calculate your HHG weight and measurements — they do NOT send anyone to your home for an accurate estimate. Then they outsource the move to random trucking companies (one “company” used during my move was operating illegally, which I learned only after doing serious research). When issues come up, your call gets routed to some random person who sounds like they’re working from home and can’t even find your information in their system. Their customer service is rude, unprofessional and that’s IF you can get a hold of them. I was naive during this process because I’ve moved many times with the military but never on my own. They absolutely preyed on that naivety, and looking back, all the red flags were there. What was estimated as a $5k move ended up being $9k — money I could NOT afford as a single parent moving across the country. When my HHGs finally arrived, the trucker had hired some guy off Facebook to come unload. Luckily, he had a background with a large moving company and now works independently. He told me he left the industry because these companies prey on people — especially the military and the elderly. STAY AWAY FROM BEACON MOVING & LOGISTICS!!

   Poor Service

   They subcontracted our mover to Sala moving out of New Jersey. They severely underestimated my load & movers left a large amount of my possessions in front yard & drove off. Sala forced me to take possession 18 days before contracted and lost several items. It was a nightmare dealing with both companies. I blame Beacon for not helping me deal with the Sala. Boy did I get took!

   Worse service ever never use them.. poor customer service. They are good at Blackmail. Don’t use them not all your stuff will arrive.., BAD VERY BAD SERVICE RUN RUN RUN…. I have still not recovered. They contract their service to other moving companies.. they Contracted SALA Moving service for me and it was so bad.. SALA moving came to take my stuff with a yellow truck and stuff Arrived in a white truck .. My property was destroyed, other stuff even stolen and missing.. you will never recover from them.. I wonder who is in charge there .. the company is a mess..NEVER USE THEM RUN for your life .

   Beacon Moving & Logistics

   If I could rate this company a zero I would. This company lied to get our business. They low- balled our estimate, told us all of our things would be on a designated truck and not moved to a bigger truck and that it would go directly to FLA on a specific date. We signed a contract stating this and arranged our whole move around this date. Beacon Moving did the exact opposite of everything they said. They brokered out another company without telling us. When Northern Elite Van Lines, showed up they filled up half the truck and asked for more money! Thousands. We had already paid more the night before on our final call. We had no choice because our closing was the next day. They left with our things and ended up transferring everything to a tractor trailer truck which carried multiple peoples things. Of course our things were not delivered on the date promised. In fact is was a full EIGHT DAYS later when we finally got our things. When we called Beacon Michael pretended to be shocked that they did that, like he had no idea that Northern Elite Vans never go directly to a destination because it's not cost efficient. Really Michael?? You expect us to believe that. Horrible company! Do NOT believe a word they say. DECEITFUL!

    Worst move ever

    Avoid Beacon Moving & Logistics and West Coast Express Moving – A Nightmare Experience Our experience with Beacon Moving & Logistics (and their sub-company, West Coast Express Moving) was a complete disaster from start to finish. We were promised a smooth, affordable move, but instead, we were hit with dishonesty, hidden fees, and incredible stress. Here’s what happened: • Deceptive Pricing: We were quoted $23,000 for our cross-country move, which was later reduced to $13,000. That seemed too good to be true—and it was. Despite a thorough video walkthrough, the on-site movers said it would be an extra $10,000 to complete the move. They waited to spring this on us the day of the move, after our items were loaded, leaving us trapped with no alternatives. • Unprofessional Movers: The on-site movers were polite but left behind a disgusting mess of fast food wrappers and beer cans. We had already hired a cleaning company for our move-out, but we were charged extra to deal with the mess left by these movers. • Broken Storage Promises: Hunter from Beacon promised us three free months of storage as part of the move. But after the first month, the storage company contacted us saying it would cost $6,000 a month. When we complained, they reduced it to $3,500 for the first month, but it jumped right back to $6,000 by the third month. Hunter made this promise verbally but never adjusted the contract, and unfortunately, that was on us for trusting him. They make up numbers as they go. • Transfer Fees and Lies: When it came time to deliver our belongings, the movers brought only half of our stuff in a Penske truck and charged us a $5,000 transfer fee, claiming a semi-truck couldn’t come down our road. This was a flat-out lie—we have a trucker neighbor, and I’ve personally seen multiple moving semis on our street. After I raised hell, they reduced the fee to $2,500. Again, these fees seemed completely made up. • Missing Items and Complete Chaos: Here’s where it got really bad: Half of our stuff didn’t arrive. The Penske truck broke down the next day, and the rest of our items weren’t delivered as promised. For over a week, I called and called, only to be told “tomorrow” every single day. Days would pass without any response, leaving us in complete limbo. We didn’t know if we were being scammed and whether we’d ever see our belongings again. This was unbelievably stressful—not just for me but for my whole family, especially my 75-year-old mother-in-law, who was beside herself with worry. • Communication Barriers: When the movers finally did arrive, they were polite and worked hard, but neither of them spoke English. I’m not someone who thinks everyone must speak English to work here, but for a move as complex as this, clear communication is crucial. We had to rely on Siri and Google Translate, which made things more difficult. Many items ended up in the wrong rooms, adding more frustration to an already chaotic experience. Final Verdict: This move was a nightmare from start to finish. We were misled by lying salespeople, charged bogus fees, and put through weeks of emotional distress wondering if we’d ever see our belongings again. I strongly urge anyone considering Beacon Moving & Logistics—or their sub-company, West Coast Express Moving—to look elsewhere. You do not want to put yourself or your family through this kind of experience. Avoid them at all costs. Save yourself the stress, money, and heartache.
