   A Great Moving Experience

   A great moving experience with Easy Movers Kitchener. On short notice, they did a move of a piano from Kitchener to Waterloo and demonstrated great care of the piano. Fully wrapped and secured it, were very polite and great communication. Thank you to Adam and his team.

   I WORKED HERE! DO NOT TRUST ADAM!

   DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! TRUST ME I WORKED FOR ADAM. I WOULD KNOW. Adam is a master scam artist. He will screw anyone over without a second thought. HIS EMPLOYEES ARE NOT TRAINED AND THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR FURNITURE AND YOUR HOUSE. !They are extremely unprofessional! All of his employees are just random college students that have no skills as professional movers! HIS ONLY TRUCK IS COMPLETELY WORN INTO THE GROUND AND BARELY RUNS. THE EQUIPMENT IS BASICALLY NON EXISTENT. NO TOOLS FOR DISASSEMBLING OF FURNITURE AND REASSEMBLE. NO RUNNERS TO PROTECT YOUR FLOORS AND CARPETS. THE RAMP ONTO THE TRUCK IS BROKEN AND DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY. THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH PADS TO PROPERLY WRAP YOUR FURNITURE SO IT WILL GET SCRATCHED. IVE WITNESSED IT MANY TIMES MYSELF AND THE UNTRAINED MOVERS WILL JUST TRY AND HIDE IT. IF DAMAGE OCCURS AND YOU CALL, NOBODY WILL GET BACK TO YOU AND ADAM WILL NOT COMPENSATE YOU FOR IT BECAUSE HE IS THE BIGGEST CHEAP SKATE IN THE BUSINESS. THE TEAM IS DIRECTLY INSTRUCTED TO TAKE THEIR TIME TO MAXIMIZE THE BILL. I DO NOT KNOW HOW THIS BUSINESS HAS NOT BEEN SHUT DOWN AS IT IS OPERATING ILLEGALLY. WHAT MAKES MATTERS WORSE IS THEY BARELY TIE DOWN YOUR FURNITURE AS THEY DON’T HAVE PROPER EQUIPMENT ON THE TRUCK, SO IT WILL NOT SHOW UP PROTECTED. THE DRIVERS ARE NOT, I REPEAT NOT INSURED UNDER THE TRUCK LEGALLY SO THEY ALL DRIVE IT AROUND ILLEGALLY AND THEY ALSO HAVE NO ABILITY TO DRIVE IT PROPERLY. COLLEGE STUDENTS WILL LEAVE MID JOB TO GO TO COLLEGE, AND SLOW THE MOVE RIGHT DOWN- AGAIN ADAM DOESN'T CARE AND WILL NOT COMPENSATE YOU FOR THIS. WHATS WORSE, AND THIS IS THE SAD PART, WHEN IT COMES TO PAY DAY, ADAM WILL NOT PAY HIS EMPLOYEES. HE JUST STRAIGHT UP USES THEM AND THEN SCREWS THEM. I WORKED HERE - TRUST ME! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!! FOR A MORE PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE TRY GRAND RIVER MOVING OR 2 MEN AND A TRUCK! **TRYING TO SAVE PEOPLE FROM THIS SCAM ARTIST!** THE AUTHORITIES HAVE BEEN CONTACTED, AND HE IS BEING INVESTIGATED.    UNPROFESSIONAL AND IGNORANT

   So here it goes ..... I’m not perfect nor is anyone BUT..... this company (ADAM -the owner) in question decided after trying to call us and email us less then 24 hours after moving our young single daughter who lives alone to her rented storage locker ,,,, Decided after not hearing from the adults whose names (ONLY) were on the contract and knowing after our initial down payment of $150 were also the ones who would be paying the balance of $287.31 found a way to creep our daughter find her phone number and sent her this exact text message : ***We completed a move yesterday for which an outstanding balance remains owing. A negative review was also left for our business, which I hope you can imagine is unfair to a small business that delivered on its side of a contract. Should the balance remaining outstanding, it will have to be reported to the police and a small claims court action will be commenced shortly. We hope to avoid any such ugliness and kindly request payment as soon as possible (i.e. today) for services rendered.*** So he the adult owner not only scared our daughter he freaked her out enough she called us crying and worried what he might do especially knowing where she now lives..... I don’t own my own business BUT.... most of us have kids and we know better when speaking with another couples child this is not right and very unprofessional and wrong from start to finish..... PLEASE READ and reread this review and make your own choice for who you pick.... I also called him loosing my mind about the whole being an upset father and he then said here’s my lawyer (HIS DAUGHTER) who was very kind and very respectful and she was the only good thing from this whole incident . I left one star and it’s for the lawyer not for the owners actions. He the owner couldn’t even talk on his own behalf or admit he was wrong .....

   Unprofessional, Unethical, just AWFUL

   Friday May 28: Very unhappy with the movers that were assigned to help move. My partner and I moved from a 1 bedroom apartment into a 2 bedroom apartment in the same building. As soon as they arrived, one gentleman complained about how many items there were to move. He commented that my partner and I are to move the lighter items and even commented to his colleague carrying a bag of clothing that "one of the girls could have carried that." We are paying for the movers to move items from point A to B, why were we expected to carry down items? We even moved items prior to their arrival and he was still huffing and puffing. When the couch was being moved they caused damage to the couch, walls, door frames, and the neighboring door across the hallway. The gentleman was forcing the couch through the doorframe and hallway which caused scratches on the couch and paint marks along the length of the couch. "Just hide it with pillows" and "use soft sand paper to get the paint out" was the gentleman's solution. The couch also wobbles and is not stable because it was forced through the door frames. The two movers were eager to get out and once we called the head person to confirm time spent they bolted out - and their policy is that damage will not be compensated if the movers have already left. This policy was not mentioned at all beforehand. Very unprofessional and unsatisfied with these movers. We called the head person to notify them the extent of the damage and he referred to the policy. We had advised him that the two bolted out fast once we had him on the phone. The head owner said he will be following up with the two movers to inquire about the damage done and get back to us. If the owner helps solve this problem, I'll will update this review. As of right now, we are not impressed and would not recommend them. Monday May 31 UPDATE: I spoke to the owner, Adam, to see if he was able to connect with the two movers from Friday and to see what he can do about the damages his movers caused. Needless to say, I stand by my review. Very unprofessional and would never use them again nor recommend them. Adam recognized me from my review and initially advised that he was not willing to discuss options to fix the problem because I left a negative review. After some discussion about handling furniture, Adam offered a $50 etransfer for damage cost if I deleted my review. I declined the offer as this is a very poor way to run a business and resolve an issue with a customer. This is not how you do business as it is really unprofessional and unethical.

   Horrible!!

   They moved my mom yesterday, and wow did they rip her off. These people are nothing but scammers. DON'T EVER USE THEM, DON'T TRUST THEM, THEY ARE BAD NEWS. They charged for 10 hrs and only worked 6, they requested a deposit based on the time it took to load the truck - knowing that it would not take as long to unload it. They were unprofessional. Only took cash or e-transfer? What kind of business does that? The kind that makes a living off scamming people. Turns out they are using the name of a much higher rated company, and the original company of the same name wants to get the police involved. So these aren't just people trying to scam you, they're actually committing fraud: true criminals.

   Don't bother!

   Easily the worst experience ever. Though the movers showed up early and did a full walkthrough, it took them almost 8 hours to do a move to a new location that was literally seven minutes away. We all had to jump in to help them, as they were so slow moving. I suspect if we hadn't helped, it would have been a ten hour move. Even though I emailed stating the size of the apartment (2 bedrooms), they showed up in a small truck, and ended up having to do two trips to get our stuff. They also left their dollies at the old apartment, and we ended up going back to pick them up for them! They also broke several items toward the end of the move (after the owner spoke to them). They ceased to be professional and were loudly complaining about how they would never work a move again. This move took longer than our move from Toronto to KW. I would only recommend them to my worst enemy.

    Horrible and Terrible Unprofessional People.

    We had a nightmare contacting them. They are most unprofessional and indecent people. I would strongly not recommend them .They never showed up at their given time for the moving.They kept saying "we are coming" but never showed up. We waited for them till 8.30pm, they did not have the least courtesy to call us and let us know that they were not coming.We had to move on June 30th at any cost.We trusted them but they broke our trust.They are really not good, not at all reliable and trustworthy. Even in the next day they did not call us.They are no good.
