   Toronto to Calgary (initial move).

   I am moving from Toronto to Calgary, so my initial pick went as planned and promised by Jacquee in their customer care. Ata and Dogukan did a fine job in picking up and moving my stuff out. If everything goes as per the pick up, I have nothing odd to say unlike other reviews mentioned here. Thanks guys!

   I booked my move with Kelly to Surrey, BC back in the beginning of May from Ottawa. Kelly was very helpful and was able to provide me with all information that I needed. I just got my things delivered a couple days ago and I can say I was very satisfied with the movers. I had a lot of fragile items that I was nervous about shipping because of their sentimental value (mainly china from my grandmother and a china cabinet) and everything was delivered to me as it had been picked up. I had six weeks of free storage which was helpful so I could coordinate with my closing date. Thanks for the great work.

   Terrible.

   Initially I was very happy. Polite, friendly, good quote. The actual experience was late, unprofessional and twice the initial quote. But they did move my stuff quickly. I had packed most of my stuff in bins anyways, so nothing was severely damaged. Once my stuff got from NS to Ontario, the trouble began. I have never in my life dealt with such an immature a**hole as the one in charge of arranging payment and delivery. I think he got the job because he was an a**hole. He gloried in it. He loved saying nasty things, enjoyed my discomfort, laughed at my expectation of professionalism, mocked my shock and anger, told me it wasn’t his problem and repeatedly hung up on me. Super classy guy. But this seems to be the real face of the company. What scammers. I will be much more wary of moving companies in the future, and I will never use this company again.

   These people are thieves and have been charged with fraud. They cost me over $4000 of fees and missing articles. Have not seen any compensation! BEWARE!!

   Very Disorganized and Rude People.

   I paid for moving and storage and called them 2 weeks before my scheduled delivery date. They promised to call me 24hrs ahead and when I didn't receive a call, I called them to follow up. Then I was told that they have changed because they could not get a driver up there. They did no show up on the scheduled day and did get a call. I called and they promised they will be there the next day. No show. I called after that and Patrick (Dispatch) was the rudest person they could find told me they would deliver it in 3 hrs while I work an hour away. I reminded them that per my calls, I advised that I will not be available before 5 pm and the best he could tell me is "well we'll go to Winnipeg and deliver it another day". With total disregard, he hung up on me twice telling me he didn't care. Best advise - Do not use them or you will regret every doing business with them.

    If I could give negative stars I would..

    This company is honestly the most frustrating, unorganized, clueless group of people I have ever experienced. It all seemed well and good until they showed up two hours late for pick up. That was frustrating, but not the end of the world. When they picked up my stuff in Calgary, they promised it would be delivered to Kitchener in 7 - 10 business days. After multiple calls and false promises about when it would get delivered, 20 BUSINESS days later (4 weeks) my stuff was delivered.  For the day of delivery, they said between 10 am and 3 pm but probably around 11am it would be there. I waited and waited and waited. Called the office multiple times and they said the truck was in Kitchener but they were unloading a 4000lb delivery before mine. I called the office around 430 because they close at 5 and Brock gave me the cell phone number of the driver and advised me to give him a call and hurry them up because "they were probably just wasting time" because they get paid by the hour. Forgive me, but should that not be Brock's job to hurry his movers up? Finally, after multiple unanswered phone calls and texts from me to the driver, they showed up at 5pm (two hours after the delivery window).  Apparently, in the fine print on the contract, it states that the office will call you a few days beforehand with the total so you can get payment straightened out. No one called me beforehand, so when the drivers arrived, they would not unload until I paid. They wanted me to pay by credit card, but luckily for me, I did see the spot on the contract where it states that you pay an extra percentage for credit cards, so I asked to do an etransfer. They had to call the office to get that straightened out and then when they finally were able to give me the bill amount, it was DOUBLE what I was quoted. At that point, I just wanted my stuff, so I figured I would just pay and then deal with the office later (big mistake).  Once billing was straightened out, they started unloading my stuff. They broke my mirror, damaged my TV stand, lost the rails for my bed and there was coffee spilled all over my end tables. Not to mention that my TV was MISSING. The driver was actually very nice and helpful about the missing TV, and I called the office the next day and my TV was delivered a few days later.  I called the office in order to get a receipt that wasn't hand written so I could see the breakdown of the charges. The girl that answered the phone was EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful. I asked to speak to accounting but she refused to put me through, she said she would take my information and they would call me back. I never heard back of course so the next day I called and demanded to be put through. I waited on hold for 45 minutes before someone answered. They were able to send me a real receipt but unable to provide me with the scale print out - it was "probably" on the truck. I asked her to follow up on it and try to find it, but didn't hear back. I have sent her at least 20 emails and called her at least as many times since then, but I still haven't heard back. This company is a bunch of crooks and I tell anyone who will listen to NEVER DEAL WITH GREEN MOVING & STORAGE!! It's not worth your time. The quote seems enticing, but if I could go back I would go with a company with a more expensive quote & a better reputation because it would have likely worked out to be cheaper in the long run; it at least would have saved me this headache!! .
