   The packaging process went off without a hitch. In fewer than two weeks, we got the cargo. There were no broken or missing items in the shipment. The world is once again in order.    They are a very welcoming crew. Without a doubt, I'd use them once more. Working with Jackson, who oversaw the move, was enjoyable as well.    Oakdale lied to us every step of the way. They made our move an absolute nightmare. Positive reviews have to be bought - DO NOT BELIEVE THE REVIEWS - THEY ARE ALL LIES. We had to come up with $2000 CASH on a Sunday night or they wouldn't unlock the truck. Horrible people from Dominick in their sales office to the driver who delivered the parts of our stuff that they didn't lose. Can not express enough how horrible this company is.

   AWFUL! 0 STARS! TRUST ME. Do not trust the high google review average like I did… clearly doctored, fake, reviews. I was fooled, scammed and lied to. From the first conversation to the last, this company is the sole reason for a stressful moving experience. DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE. 1. Final cost was nearly DOUBLE what I was originally quoted. Including hidden fees like $100 fee to use the elevator and long carry fees for over 70 feet from door to truck. To ensure that my things would fit in the alloted space that my quote was based on, I had a call with quality control the week of my move. Sure enough, on move day the movers said my things took up an additional 150 cubic feet… another $500 dollars. 2. RUDE, SLIMY company. This company prides themselves on being "family run," and they couldn't do further from it. The customer service rep had the audacity to brag about not being a "slimy" company, in the midst of defending her coworker for lying to me about the services I was told would be provided. You will not get anywhere with the workers, specifically the "Customer Service Representative." She would not take any ownership for HER mistakes and was blatantly rude and disrespectful. Do not trust the "Sales" women , she will lie about every service and tell you what you want to hear just to make the sale. And then when I found this all out, after I put in my security deposit would not take any responsibility for the fact that they lied AND messed up my contract therefore causing a delay in my moving dates. 3. INCOMPETENT. Don't expect anything in a timely fashion. First of all, you are given a 2 day window of when the movers will POSSIBLY show up. And you won't be aware of the time block until the day of. In my case, I had to BEG them to pick up my things on the 2nd day of the window I gave them, as they were trying to push me to the next, third, day. And then it took 11 days for delivery of my things. Pickup and delivery were both at 7pm, taking 2-3 hours. 4. At delivery only one man showed up to unload because it was a "small job." Well that turned into me having to help him for the entire 3 hours, as he was struggling and I didn't want to risk any breakage of my things or the apartment building.
