   Recent Move.

   We just used Prestige Van Lines to move from NJ to FL. We had a large move 4 bedroom house plus full basement and garage. All of our furniture were heavy Ethan Allen pieces. The move went well. Everything was wrapped and packed well. Movers arrived on time both in NJ and FL with our furniture. The drivers Michael and Owen were especially helpful in keeping us informed during the process. The cost was not inexpensive, but the furniture arrived safely and on time which is what we were looking for.

   Long distance move.

   Used a broker and paid them plenty-did not know they were a broker, thought the $$ were going toward the move..NOT. Then Prestige showed up announced with two small a truck, not enough movers and charged 50% more than was quoted to me. Yes damage to many items and insurance offered to pay $36, really!! What a scam. I'm trying to get compensation, but unless I want to take years off my life, nothing will probably happen. It's not nice to fool/scam Seniors. Can anyone help? This has to stop.

   Warning - Thieves!! They Steal Your Stuff.

   DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Not only did they rifle through our entire household items, they stole my sons entire wardrobe and his collection of Nike shoes. They have washed their hands of it and offered us a disgusting $64.00 settlement. They will try to get you to give them MORE money after your items are packed on their truck and tell you that you need to give them additional money in cash to "guarantee your stuff makes it to the destination". I did not pay this "hostage fee" so they helped themselves to our personal items. If I could give them a ZERO, I would..all I can do is try to make sure no one else is victimized like this. I filed a police report and have lawyered up!! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use this company!!

   Worst Experience Ever.

   Best Interstate Moving is a broker who set me up with this company to move from NY to FL. I should have trusted my instincts and backed out after reading the reviews on Prestige Van Lines. I will try to be concise: The showed up with a van too small and ended up strapping my mattresses to the lift gate. The owner was incredibly rude on the phone and discouraged me from purchasing insurance. Turns out his company doesn't participate with the additional insurance Best Interstate Recommended. Then they showed up to my new home a day early, tried to put everything in the garage and leave. I had two moldy ruined mattresses, broken furniture, missing boxes. All in all an estimated 600 pounds or more of damaged property. The company then offers me $66 at the standard 60 cents per pound insurance 3 months after submitting my claim. Do yourself a favor. Don't use a broker and don't use prestige van lines.
