   Credibility

   I hired Roadway to move me from North York to Windsor and was given the option to agree to the driver estimate of weight or pay a fee to have truck scaled. They estimated over 10,000 lbs but would round down to 9000 lbs. I had them scale the truck and weight was 6200 lbs. they told me cost was $3100 which was quite a lot more than expected but told it would cost $2600 if I paid cash to the driver upon arrival. I paid the cash to get my furniture and was told by driver he can’t give receipts so the company would send one. Never got it! I have requested a receipt a few times and only received lip service that it will be sent. I would suggest trying a company that has a better business rating rather than a company you can’t even find an address for on their website

   1 star is too good.

   I called and scheduled a pick up on a specific day, a delivery on a specific day and gave a list of all furniture items. First, the local contractors tried to schedule the pick up on a different day. Second, the list of items I gave corporate in Florida was not completely given to the contractor on the west coast. This increased my binding estimate by $600. Third, on the date I had scheduled for delivery with the "gentleman" at corporate, I was told that my scheduled date was only a first possible and it would be within 14 business days. Fourth, I spent half a week trying to get through to customer service and find where my belongings were. I rarely got a live person and almost never got a call back. Fifth, when I finally did get a call back to find where my belongings were, it had been loaded on a truck and would be delivered within five business days. The actual travel time between the two locations is three days driving maximum and I gave them a week. They are telling me it will be a week, five days after the originally scheduled delivery date. If I could give negative stars, I would!

   Dishonest and Disrespectful.

   Sean phone # 772-237-9839 located in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Large tractor truck and does long distance moves between states. Picked up my belongings and delivered to storage in NY. Multiple items were broken, some wooden furniture had water damage from a the leaky truck roof, and to top it off a my marble top table was not present! He told us that they "Accidentally" put in someone else's storage in another state! We were met with name calling and major threats and disrespect! Please do not use!!
