DON'T LET THEM IN YOUR DOOR!
BEWARE! EVERY REVIEW ON BBB IS TRUE! We didn't hire this shell of a moving and storage company. We contracted with US Standard Moving and Storage of Miami, who did not disclose they are BROKERS. Stop and Move is who showed up at our front door. DO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR DOOR! Our items became hostage once they were on a rented truck, not a company truck. Unknowing of their thug-like behavior, Stop and Move took cash-only payments by threatening to auction off our items for storage payment, threatened to drive off with our items if we didn't pre-pay and pre-sign the BOL, delivered crushed, broken open boxes, and damaged furniture, and did not leave the BOL to file damage claims. The owner of this so-call company knowingly took an additional month of storage rent, even though the BROKER erroneously authorized immediate delivery when there was no house to put it in! He said he would refund us. We have been communicating every day for the refund. He even told us to stop texting him. Essentially, the storage rent is STOLEN money. Compared to other reviews, the only good thing is we got our items! BEWARE! This is NOT a legitimate company, hired by another questionable company, US Standard Moving and Storage, a BROKER!
