   No communication, truck broke down and stuff is late

   PLEASE READ!! DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!! They are crooks, unprofessional, and leave you in the dark when their trucks break down. First of all, the two guys who came to pick up my belongings pulled up to my apartment reeking of weed and more than 27 hrs LATE from the pick up window they gave me! I get being on the road for a while, but when I see them pulled over in the parking lot smoking, that’s really unprofessional! I let that go, cause it didn’t hurt me or my stuff. What leads me to leaving this review is the lack of professionalism and COMMUNICATION from this company. I have been left in the dark (zero communication) since they picked up my stuff 18 days ago!!!! The drop off window I was given was august 8th-14th. I didn’t hear from them at all and as the week got later I assumed they would be arriving more near the end of that window. The 13th came and I hadn’t heard from them, so I called. No answer, so I left a message. The morning of the 14th I decided to call again and was told I’d get a call back in 5 min. I did not. My messages were ignored Friday- Monday! Wtf! When I called AGAIN on Monday the 16th I was told THEIR TRUCK BROKE DOWN!!! Why the fuck would you not call the customer and let them know their stuff was going to be late!?!?! Instead they just left me in the DARK until today ( TUESDAY the 17th), apparently my stuff will be here at the end of this week. I have had to get a hotel room for my dog and I and they are unwilling to even cover one night!!! Shay, their sales person who is all nice cause she takes your deposit right up front, told me it wouldn’t be any later than the 14th and then ignored every single one of my calls/ text when I would try to get ahold of her. Donny, which dispatch is a moron and lacks communication skills the most! Your dispatch, CALL YOUR FUCKING CUSTOMERS!!! This company is untrustworthy and I would never recommend them to anybody. Do yourself a favor and keep looking for a different company. At least one who respects their customers.

   Broken and missing items

   I had an absolutely terrible experience with this company. When they packed us out of our house, they scraped just about every wall in the house and broke baseboards. I used them for storage for two months until we moved into our house and when our items finally showed up after fighting with them for almost 2 weeks to finally come to our house, we had too many broken items to count. We also had missing items. I would not trust this company to move anything that you value because when you contact them about the broken items they will tell you that it’s not their problem and to contact the third-party claims department. Vlad the owner Does not care about you or your property and will require a cashiers check or cash before you even see your stuff when it finally arrives.

   Dishonest.

   Please do not do business with this company. They are incredibly dishonest. They will tell you that they offered to help with my dissatisfaction, but that is just more dishonesty. I have moved 18 times in my lifetime (10 long-haul, 8 local), and this was the worst move ever. Here's a list of their dishonesty: 1. They quoted my a 4-man team for 2 hours to move my 3-bedroom home just a few miles away. The SLOW team took 5.5 hours. When I asked, they said that it should take 5.5 hours. Then why did they quote 2 hours? I had a similar move just 2 years ago. It took 2 men 4 hours. It shouldn't have taken a 4-man team 5.5 hours. And we didn't even have them move any boxes into our new house. We had them leave them in the garage. 2. When the movers were late in arriving, I called and they said that there was a problem with the air-conditioning in the truck. This turned out to be a lie. I saw first hand that it was starter. When it came to moving the truck, it took him seven tries to start the engine. 3. They said they hired only professional movers. But the movers were anything but professionals. For one thing, they were very slow (extending the billable time beyond what is reasonable). Also, they failed to protect the banisters in our new house and we had to insist they do it. And the movers caused damage to our walls and ceilings. 4. When we asked about the damage, they said they talked to the foreman and he said that he and his crew did not cause any damage to our property. Another lie. I am sorry that I was foolish enough to deal with this dishonest company. Please do not make the same mistake I made.
