   Definitely use again

   The team arrived on time and immediately got to work, packing and loading our belongings carefully and precisely. They were friendly and professional throughout the process, and their attention to detail was exceptional. They took the time to label each box clearly, making the unpacking process much easier. One must hire them to make his most challenging day fun!

   Nathanael was a bit slower than the rest, but still did a good job. They struggled a bit more with moving my heavy dresser, but eventually got it done. They were also very polite and respectful. Headache free!

   Houston, who was in charge of the delivery, demonstrated the same levels of friendliness, understanding, and efficiency as the Uplift crew. The beds (in particular) had not degraded after three years in storage; everything was in the same condition as before being placed in storage.

   Good Job

   Very skilled and smooth moving process - they showed up early with an extra guy and got everything done in less than 2.5 hours. I was very grateful that they were cautious and nothing was damaged. I would use this company again.

   Horrible Experience

   Being a Navy Family, we had used Amherst for moving in the past and thought this experience would be good. However, they contracted with a horrible company that showed up with 2 men only. They did not take an inventory, did not bring TV boxes, matress bags, or China cabinet package and then claimed we had more items than given quote for. When our items were finally delivered, we had no way of knowing all our items made it and found rats had been infesting all our items. Rat poop and pee were on everything. All our TVs were broken and we had to trash 3 mattresses as well as bookshelves, clothing, blankets, dishes, toys. To top it off they got their truck stuck in our yard, also only 2 guys came. My husband carried many items himself. They were not able to put furniture together because they lost bolts. So much more went wrong.. Amherst put everything off on the company they contracted with and neither company Is returning calls or even attempting to resolve this issue. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM EVER! And I suggest they never contract with Oasis moving.

   The worst moving compnay, very unprofessional and very unresponsive

   I hired them to help me with my move from CA to NYC, after I spoke to the broker who I thought was very great at the start and gave me a great deal, they asked me to pay the despite with an e-check. When the movers showed up it seemed that the list of items was incorrect and was not documented correctly, they asked me to them extra $9500 to make my move for a studio apartment. now they are refusing to give me my deposit back, I cannot get a hold of anyone to speak to from customer service the broker I spoke to ghosted me that day, they caused me so much anxiety and stress that day and on top of that they made me miss my flight that day as I couldn’t leave and I had to find another moving company. Absolutely horrible experience and highly unrecommended. I told them I am a student I really need my money back as I had a budget for my move and working based off of that, and now they would not give me the deposit money back.
