   SUPERB, WORRY-FREE MOVERS!!!

   My husband and I have used AMJ many times, not only for domestic moves, but also to and from France. From beginning to end, the move was without fault. Sunil & especially Varsha were SUPERB!!! I felt so well taken care of and in such good hands with Varsha. Excellent communication and follow-up all the way. Varsha stayed on top of things and made sure every step of the move was going smoothly. Everything was amazingly packed, too. I couldn't believe while I saw the movers packing and when I opened up everything at the destination, how amazingly carefully everything was packed. I'm pretty fussy, but they did a way better job than I would have even with the smaller stuff that wasn't breakable, let alone with the fragile things and the larger, furniture items. SUPERB, WORRY-FREE EXPERIENCE EACH AND EVERY TIME WITH AMJ!!! THANK YOU!!!!!

   Best Movers in Ontario

   AMJ helped us move office and were so good at their job. They went over and beyond our expectations and were so professional at their job. They were right on time, had adequate resources and were very coordinated in all their tasks. we highly recommend them. We cannot thank them enough for their superb job.

   A Terrible Experience

   On September 2022 we bought a house out of town and sold ours of 30 years in Pembroke, Ont. We met with a few moving companies and we found AMJ Campbell to be the most informative, helpful, supportive & caring provider. We chose them! In preparation for the move Mr. Woodtke kept in touch and continued to support us. On the day of the move and days after I reported a broken chandelier (that they packed), damages on our front door and frame, scratches on our railing, bannister, floors and walls. In the process of unpacking I began to realize that I was missing numerous items. My missing items just kept adding up. I reported this to the Pembroke office and advised to contact Jason Cochrane, Manager in Ottawa. Jason Cochran asked for an itemized list of what was missing and cost. I mailed it to him on October 4, 2023. The next day I called him and he confirmed having received my email. WE HAVE NOT HEARD FROM HIM YET!!! He hasn’t dealt with our chandelier yet either. I am extremely disappointed with this company’s performance and lack of response. The pain is great, my lost valuables are many and this company doesn’t seem to understand the impact of their lack of interest and their indifference to my many calls (some not returned) for help and hope for a settlement.

   Terrible

   We moved within Ontario and decided to use AMJ Campbells. The day before the move I still had no idea when the items would be delivered to our new address 7 hours away. One employee told me it would be delivered the day after the move which meant I would have had to drive to our new destination instead of helping with the move, which I was prepared to do. We were told to ask the driver for a timeline when they arrived. The movers on the Pembroke side were great. That is why I am giving a 2 star review. They were fast, they knew what they were doing and they had a guy who was working his first day who was courteous and polite. These guys were great and if I was just reviewing them, I would give a much higher rating. No one knew where the truck was going and when it would arrive. For some reason, a second group of movers came down from out of town (someone said they were from Timmins but that was never clarified) about an hour before the group had finished and it became chaos. This group had no idea what they were doing and kept grabbing items the other guys and I had set aside that were not to be packed. There were too many people and only half of them had communicated with us. Was I charged for these other movers to come down and stay in a hotel? Why on earth were they there? I have no idea. They then changed drivers for some reason which has yet to be explained to me, and brought the truck down to Barrie (we moved to Timmins) and then finally to Timmins two days after they loaded the truck. Once again, not sure why that decision was made considering it is in the complete opposite direction. Barrie is south, Timmins is North. When they arrived to our new place (6 hours after we were told they would arrive after finally getting some clarification because no one was communicating with us) they unloaded and every single doorframe was scratched up and the paint was chipped in our new home. I have no idea why my stuff was in Barrie, why two groups of movers were brought in at different times in Pembroke and why the communication was so lacking.

   Moving from Quebec to Nova Scotia

   I would not recommend using AMJ Campbell Montreal if you are moving from Montreal, Quebec area to Nova Scotia. I am not happy with their delivery process in Nova Scotia, and their customer service/information was definitely lacking. Movers were not prepared for any eventuality, and I incurred unnecessary additional service costs. The floors at my delivery address were not protected, causing significant issues, which I am still trying to resolve. And, some of my shelving/tables are MIA.

   Angry since 2021

   I just found this page in 2026. In 2021 I had the misfortune of dealing with AMJ Campbell Alberta when we returned to the UK from Calgary. Once they collected our goods they wanted another ~$700CDN for increased freight charges. We settled on ~$500CDN. On arrival in the UK their UK partner/subcontractor? Brittania Movers demanded another £1,204 GBP for Port Fees, being 50% of a shared container (otherwise it would have been £2,408). Oddly enough AMJ said all our goods might not fit into one container but they managed to get somebody else's goods in as well! Moving is stressful, moving internationally even more so and we felt deceived. My now late wife rarely swore but she did about those two companies.

   Avoid AMJ Campbell Van Lines

   If you are considering a move, do not hire this company ... the crew that loaded our the contents of our 3 bedroom home near Edmonton, AB were entirely incompetent and careless ... they arrived several hours late, wrongly contradicted many things that we were told by the salesperson (ie. that we were supposed to dismantle lamps, beds, etc), failed to have proper equipment to move our piano, stickered items to be moved that any sensible person would know were not leaving the premises (ie. concrete bench from the patio), threatened to leave a mattress behind that they had difficulty securing properly, and damaged several items. The crew that offloaded the van at our new home on Vancouver Island were knowledgeable and hardworking ... however, they were not supplied with any paperwork regarding our shipment and had issues with the condition of the trailer supplied to them by AMJ Campbell/Atlas which caused them to be delayed enroute having to replace unsafe tires ... the driver and a single crew member offloaded the van in less time that the incompetent 5 member crew took to load the same contents ... The headboard of our bed was broken into 5 pieces, a step ladder was missing, a mechanical chair that was in good working order when it left our Edmonton home arrived in non-working condition to name just some of the issues. Although we purchased expensive additional insurance, the insurer has resisted compensation except for fixing the headboard. And if this isn't enough to persuade you not to hire this company (or any other Atlas operator),they initially refused the claim to replace the step ladder by relying on a false document ... a bingo sheet with a signature that wasn't mine and the name of a driver we never dealt with ... the actual delivery crew had no bingo sheet for us to sign ... What reputable company proffers a fraudulent document to avoid replacing a $150 step ladder?!

   AVOID using moving company like AMJ Campbell

   the lady came to the front desk and told me to buzz her up, I told her she had to buzz the resident to go up but she was like no I don't want to buzz you have to buzz you are the concierge so buzz us up and she is not listening anything what I am saying I don't know what kind of people they hired who don't follows the rules and regulations of the building. please at least train your team and teach them some manners to talk and especially listen to others. I suggest never never never never never never hiring this company for moving.

   Loss of shipped belongings

   Avoid AJM. There is no bar code tracing. 31 January2023 their agent said everything had arrived in Fremantle which was false. A kayak and box marked on the AJM inventory marked ART were not delivered. They found the kayak but I suspect the carton of ART never left Victoria. Poor communication. I contacted the RCMP. Avoid this business.

    Worst move of my life

    We moved from BC to Alberta earlier this year. Ensure that you ask for your scale tickets!!! They only reimbursed when I asked for the scale tickets because they were off by over 1,000lbs. The reimbursement took nearly 2 months. I have several broken items and over $7,000 in missing items. They damaged both of our properties. Their packing job was absolutely atrocious and took us significantly longer to unpack due to their poor packing. They have refused to make any settlement and just continue to argue themselves in circles.
