total scam of a company and worst customer service
This company lost several of my items, was over 2 months late in delivery things, many were broken and lost and charged me over the quoted amount. In addition they never returned phone calls or emails and never replied to my complaint on BBB.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Contacted American Plus Moving & Storage who then contracted to AMM Trucking LLC. We agreed on a price and as soon as AMM Trucking came they jacked it up $2,000 more. It was supposed to be delivered on a certain date and I did not receive till 5 days later. They lost a piece of my furniture, broke and ruined things. I filed the claim and they said that I chose Option 2 on the Interstate Bill of Lading Contract. Be care what you sign, because I certainly would not have signed that - they throw all sorts of papers just telling you what they are about. I was told that I will receive $43.80 for all my damaged items. This was a $6,500 move! Unbelievable. Please listen and do not trust either of these companies. You can tell from the reviews that they are very untrustworthy of your valuables! Thank you.

The Worst Movers in the World
We moved from Central California to Fort Worth, Texas. They ruined every single piece of our furniture and there is still a lot of furniture missing. Not only was everything damaged and scratched but it’s non repairable. We spent $15,000 on this move and they will be hearing from our lawyers.

worst company ever
Do not use this company. They tripled the price once they had my stuff, saying it was more sq footage than what was quoted....but the quote and my stuff were based on a storage unit's defined size. Somehow, from the unit to their moving truck, the space my stuff took up tripled! They said it accounted for best practices of packing and moving. Lol. Keep this in mind when you read below how my stuff showed up. They wouldnt take my calls to talk about the pricing issue (I called pretty much at least once a week and they either didnt answer or BSed something, and then said they never said it)... and then on move day, they said I never disputed the cost - it's insane! Then, my stuff didnt show up for a month (note - their 21 days max move time is 21 business days, not days...), literally every piece of furniture was damaged, I watched them drop my box of glasses - every glass broke, a ton of my stuff never came yet I got someone else's stuff - which they had no interest in dealing with. Their "coverage" policy doesnt cover boxes they didnt pack...meaning it covered nothing (including the box they dropped right in front of me) - and for broken furniture, you have to keep it for months for them to come inspect it if you want even a chance at recouping any costs - who can keep a house full of broken furniture?! They are a joke. They are unethical. They don't care.

Do not use this company for your move.
The broker that referred my move to this company (Cross State Van Lines) have the same owners. While my items were in the possession of AMM Trucking, they opened my bedroom and bathroom boxes, sifted through them, and retaped them (with different tape) after stealing all of my dress watches, gold jewelry, silver jewelry with gemstones, and costume jewelry that appeared to have a gemstone setting. I am one of many who have been harmed by this company.

Shipping family items from VA to CA
Pick up was done well & everything looked securely wrapped. Drop off in CA was hurried & sloppily done. Nothing was unwrapped, they refused to put bed rails/headboards in bedrooms. All was dropped in hallway. They left in a hurry leaving all the padding on items behind & an item that wasn’t ours as well. We didn’t even know they were leaving; we looked out & the truck was halfway down the block! After opening boxes we discovered a box had to be missing containing many personal items; an oil painting done by my grandmother of myself & daughter, a marble fern stand belonging to my grandmother were among the most important & sentimental items. We have made innumerable calls & only once talked to anyone. At that time we were told they would send us insurance forms to fill out. I stated I didn’t want insurance I wanted our missing box & for them to pick up the item left that wasn’t ours as well as the padding. NOTHING happened. They have NEVER returned any of our phone messages! Also, there was no advance notice of their arrival in CA. They called & stated they would be at house in half an hour & they wanted the remainder of money IN CASH before they would unload anything. My daughter was at work & said she’d have to stop at bank to get the cash. They were just sooo rude! We are just heartsick about our missing items & lack of any response from the company!

Terrible moving company
This moving company is a complete scam. First, they quoted me $5000 for my entire move, after loading all of my belongings they told me the bill would be $9441. I was told it would take 21 business days but it ended up taking 3 months longer to get my belongings. When my belongings did finally arrive, countless items were missing and damaged. They do not answer there phones and they do not respond to any type of inquiry.
