   Excellent work by Jeremy and Michael! Jeremy worked through a very challenging situation for us during my parents' move and both he and Michael worked late into the evening to accomplish the job. We appreciated their positive attitudes, hard work and professionalism throughout the entire process! Highly recommend!

   Great service

   This company was hired by another company I used, LOR Transport Services. Both companies gave exceptional service. I relocated from upstate New York to Naples FL in the beginning of September. I absolutely love it here. LTS contracted my move with M&D Pro Movers who handled all of my belongings with such care. Outstanding service and my items arrived within 9 days. The guys even helped me bring a few of my boxes from the truck to my upstairs master bedroom.

   I have been meaning to write this review since receiving my belongings in April 2025, but the experience was so stressful and overwhelming that I kept putting it off. Unfortunately, my experience with M&D Pro Movers was very similar to what many other customers have described. The price I was ultimately charged was nowhere near the original quote. The movers loaded all of my belongings onto the truck and then told me the cost would be based on cubic footage, resulting in a price nearly twice what I had been quoted. They required payment through Zelle after everything was already loaded. Since I was moving across the country, was on a strict timeline, and all of my belongings were already on their truck, I felt I had no realistic choice but to pay. Afterward, communication became extremely difficult. I repeatedly tried to find out where my belongings were, when they would arrive, and what the status of the shipment was. I received very little reliable information and felt as though all of my household belongings were being held hostage. After I informed them that I had arrived at my destination, the expected delivery date completely changed. My belongings did not arrive until approximately a month and a half later. During that time, I was without my furniture, bed, and nearly everything I owned, with no clear idea of when anything would be delivered. When my belongings finally arrived, they were transported by a driver who had apparently traveled across the country and hired two local people to help unload. I have no idea whether they were professional movers. My belongings were transferred from a large truck into a U-Haul because the larger truck could not access my apartment complex. The people unloading appeared to throw and mishandle my furniture. Almost every major piece of furniture arrived with some type of damage, including bed frames, dressers, a cabinet, my treadmill/walking pad, and other items. My lamps were completely shattered, and many of the boxes looked as though they had been thrown around. My belongings also arrived with a strong, unfamiliar perfume-like odor, which made me believe they had been stored with other people’s belongings for an extended period. By the time everything arrived, I was simply relieved to have my property back, despite the condition it was in. I did not pursue a damage claim because, after reading other customers’ experiences, I had little confidence that the process would be handled fairly or successfully. Please do your due diligence before hiring this company. Read reviews from independent sources such as Yelp and the Better Business Bureau, not only the testimonials displayed on the company’s own website. I was under tremendous pressure to arrange a cross-country move and unfortunately did not research those sources until after the damage had already been done. This move caused me an enormous amount of stress and even affected my health. In my opinion, the company’s pricing practices, lack of communication, extreme delivery delay, and handling of my belongings were completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend that others avoid using M&D Pro Movers.

   AVOID USING THEM

   I engaged the services of MD Pro Movers to transport property from St.Augustine Florida to Maryland. The experience with them was simply HORRIBLE. The contract is quite long so read it carefully. There is no delivery time guarantee and unless you buy third party insurance their coverage is worthless. They arrived four hours late and I am a single female who was made to feel very uncomfortable as nightfall was approaching. They charged and additional $3500 when loading the truck stating that I was over the cubic feet allowed. They demanded payment by Zelle or PayPay and said that unless I paid immediately the would unload my goods and leave them in the parking lot. They were not forthcoming on where my property was located or when it would be shipped. In desperation I advised that I would fly to Hollywood and rent a trailer and have someone drive it home for me. They then again for the fifth time they advised it would be sent in a few days. I had an AirTag in my luggage so knew that the goods were some forty miles north of their office. Finally, they shipped the goods and upon arrival there were three broken lamps, one missing and a damaged desk that they taped up with duck tape. CAUTION: I WOULD GO ELSEWHERE

   Scammed and damaged property

   When I originally got my estimate, they under cut the square foot, then charged me and additional $1000 to move just my couch even though it was included in the original estimate. The way I wrapped and boxed my property was not the way it was when it was delivered. My jewelry was broken and my jewelry box ram-sacked. My 65 inch tv and my 42 inch tv were both broken, and they were wrapped by Luis, in a blanket a piece of cardboard. Tape was also pulled back and broke on a a few of my boxes. Come to find out after I signed the paperwork when my belongings were picked up, Luis wrote over the original numbers. Luckily I took a picture of the paperwork since Luis would not give me a copy. I had to send the picture of the paperwork I signed to the delivery driver and Selene to show the numbers were not correct that I was being told I had to pay.. When I talked to Selene and tried explaining to her that I was underestimated for square footage and that I was not told there was a minimum fee of $650 (plus some additional fees), and that Eric who helped me with the estimate said all I had to do was pay the additional square footage that I use, Selene said that the sales team doesn’t know the fees. I tried explaining to Selene if I had known about the additional minimum fee, I would have requested to have additional square footage to make sure I did not go over what was estimated, however she would not listen. And to top that off after I read my contract for the third time, I told her it doesn’t say that there would be the additional minimum fee of $650, she said they can charge up to $2500 and it shows in the tariff which is not provided to customers when the contract is signed. She said that customers have to request a copy, which is crazy cause when you’re are signing the contract there is no information saying this or any indication of additional fees.i had to remind her that Luis would not give me a cop and so I don’t have the info she’s talking about. It’s been almost a week and Selene still has not provided me the information I need to file a claim for my damaged property.

   Moving cost 3x the quoted price. Left Trash all over my property. Things were late even though they knew our move in date months in advance. Stuff came infested with roaches, broken, missing. They won’t respond to me appeal for a claims, considering my furniture is ruined, and they’re ’not responsible’ for boxes they don’t pack so beware they will treat your belongings like trash. They’ve stopped responding to me entirely. Disgusting scam artist company.

   M & D Pro Movers through Deceit, Fraud and hostage tactics demanded $8,460 or $1,960 over the $6,500 Binding Moving Estimate and only picked up/shipped 75% of items. An itemized list with all sizes/dimensions was provided to movers prior to Binding Moving Estimate yet they underestimated volume by over 25%. I have been Overcharge $1,200 at the point of pick-up, Overcharged $800 at delivery and approximately 25-26% of items (based on cubic feet) to be shipped were not shipped. Many items delivered have been damaged and/or destroyed and components to assemble furniture are missing/lost. Movers guaranteed a non-shared truck that would pick up, transport and deliver items without unloading/reloading truck, yet once truck was loaded they transferred inventory to a different truck at a warehouse. Movers denied me the opportunity to purchase additional insurance coverage, damaged thousands of dollars of items (at replacement cost) and then informed me that any items they did not pack personally would not be eligible for damage claims. Movers informed me that the form labeled “Binding Moving Estimate” is not binding on them. If you feel you really need to use them get them to sign and date "Binding Moving Estimate" before giving them a deposit. Make sure they do not use vague language, when they did me I was supposed to get a non-shared truck that would pick up, transport and deliver, never being unloaded or items transferred into a different truck. I allowed them to put in the "Binding Moving Estimate" "Same Truck/Not Shared", now they are trying to spin it and say the words only meant the truck used for pick up would not have anybody else's items. They drove from my house directly to a warehouse, unloaded the put it on a shared 18-wheeler. Take your own inventory with all sizes, calculate your TOTAL cubic feet, then increase by about 25%. The cubic foot volume they use includes dead space on truck. It is not possible to load a truck using 100% of the truck space, if there is an inch or foot between truck ceiling or items on the truck it counts as the cubic space you use. Demand they give you the increased insurance/valuation coverage. The 60 cents per pound will not cover even a small fraction of replacement cost. Every item they moved from my son's office was destroyed, every item except one from my living room was destroyed, fine China started the trip with 24 plates, only one plate not destroyed. Parts to assemble bedroom furniture missing, furniture not assembled.

   M& D pro movers are horrible!!! Some of my things were missing, damaged and broken . They don’t reimburse for the damages. Jenett and Celine gave me one lie after another. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They are a Nightmare from Hell. They steal from you and lie to you !! Beware they don’t deliver on time and are very irresponsible. I have an attorney and we are taking them to court

   Going into the 4th month waiting for complete delivery. 2 Months for a very partial delivery. A 2nd partial delivery 6 weeks later. Still missing the rest. Will not answer or return calls. Will not provide paperwork. To file a claim, you have to pay another company. $8,000 over the estimate! Must go through federal agencies to report them. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. Movers at pick up were rude, disrespectful of my request not to take certain things, since they get a commission. Ignored the original estimate. I was in a difficult situation and didn't do the research I should have. Got scammed. BEWARE!

    SCAM!

    Do not use M and D Movers. My things are broken and they only brought some of my things. They picked up on 6/26/23 and today is August 11,2033. I'm still waiting. They will not give me any paperwork to show anything related to my move. I even have things that belong to someone else. NIGHTMARE FROM HELL!
