   A Nightmare with the SCAMMERS and BRUTES

   To start, the guy who delivered my stuff spat on me as he left!!! Company to avoid! They bait you with a price below the average, but you will pay double! The nightmare started when they asked me to move the day before what was written in the contract, one of their arguments was that my things will be delivered the day they were supposed to be delivered!!! On moving day, the cost of moving increases from $1450 to $2351. I reminded the terms of the contract on the phone to the one who was supposed to be the boss; he told me that once my things are in the truck we will discuss. But once my things are loaded, the driver, an execrable and rudeman (the one who spat on me), asks me to sign the documents, otherwise, he leaves with my belongings. I wanted to call the boss, but I only heard threats, threats, threats. In order not to waste time, I signed; a mistake not to make, because they took my belongingsin hostage. From that moment on, it was impossible to reach the boss: he no longer answered the phone and ignored my emails. By spending my days on the phone, I managed to reach the lady who works in this company, the one who had already made me move a day earlier. She told me that my items will be delivered the next day (a Friday) and on Friday, she told me that it will be by Sunday. In the same conversation, she told me that it will be by Sunday, then by Monday and that the deliverers will call me to tell me how to pay the rest to be paid. Faced with this lack of credibility, I wanted to pay whatever they wanted, as long as they gave me back my items. On Monday, my belongings were not delivered. The lady told me it would be on Tuesday (ie the day I started my new job). Tuesday, I call her, she gave me a time range which has obviously not been respected. When I receive the call from the delivery man, he forces me to have cash, which I objected to: given the dishonesty of this man, it is better not to give him cash. I arranged to have the money orders. The delivery man eventually arrived. The first thing he told me was to pay before he unloads the truck. I show him the copies of the money orders, he refused and began to insult me. He threatened to leave with my belongings, when he noticed that I was not afraid of, he called his boss who no longer answered me on the phone. The boss asked me to pay before they unload the truck. Tired of so much incivility, I gave him the money orders... The delivery man was happy to insult me all the time. Once my items were unloaded, he realized I hadn't signed the money orders... I wanted to sign them, but I also wanted to photograph them, which didn't please this man who hadn't stopped insulting me. He started picking up the boxes they had unloaded. He only stopped when I threatened to call the police! He ended up letting me photograph the money orders and when I signed he spat on me as he walked away. What a brute! NEVER deal with this company!

   Still haven’t gotten my belongings…

   Do NOT use this company!! They were supposed to deliver my belongings 05/21 and since then no one can tell me when they will be delivered. Every time I speak with someone they say they can’t reach the carriers and will let me know when they know. They never call me, I always have to call them for the same response. My daughter and I have been sharing a blow up mattress and wearing the same clothes. I filed a complaint on BBB and they called from a No Caller ID number to ask me to take the complaint down so it doesn’t effect my move…. Like they would withhold my stuff even longer because I complained about them already taking longer than originally discussed. This company is trash and should be shut down. They have done this to MANY families.

   Nightmare - Do NOT do business with M&D Pro Movers

   I urge anyone that is considering utilizing M & D pro movers to read this post and do yourself a huge favor by finding another company to work with. I initially worked with guy named Ethan who was responsible for building a quote and earning my business for an out of state move. he constantly leveraged as a sales tactic the fact that M & D Pro Movers was a carrier and not a broker - that they would be fully responsible for the move. On pick up day, the movers called us when they arrived(not the day before as promised to confirm a timeframe) It was also a different company called Simple Movers LLC. I was told that the sq footage was much more than what was documented on the initial quote and therefore the price more than doubled(This component was the least of my concerns but want people to know that this is likely to happen to them so be prepared) During my discussions with Ethan and over the course of 13 days waiting for our things to be delivered on a 5-10 day delivery timeframe, I made it abundantly clear that the delivery could not occur on weekends or after 4pm during the week - per our apartments strict policies. Long story short, I get a call from a gal named Vanessa at Simple Movers letting me know that the movers would be there at 8:30pm(mind you this was during hurricane Nicole) I reminded this individual that I made it very clear to both M&D and dispatch at Simple Movers that the delivery could not occur at this time. This woman said there are no other options and they are delivering our things. You will never speak with a more unprofessional, sketchy, and miserable human being - I can promise you that. So then I was forced to call and plead with the owners of our apartment complex to allow us to at least move our things into the basement garage overnight. When the movers showed up, they ignored my request to meet them outside in order to show them where to park. They ended up knocking down the telephone/cable wires that were going across the entire driveway of this apartment complex. Mind you, these 2 movers spoke 0 english which is a real problem in and of itself. They then refused to move anything until I paid them. I ended up providing an envelope with the second half of the balance to one guy who then walked behind a box, came back and said i was $300 dollars short. I had literally just counted the money prior to handing him the envelope so we got absolutely swindled there(do not pay cash or make sure you count that money in front of them or this might happen). All of our things were soaking wet and we ended up having to hire movers the next day to bring everything from this garage into the apartment. I provided all this feedback to M & D Pro Movers and I haven't even received a call back, not to mention an apology. The fact that they brokered this out to such a sleeze ball moving company should really be taken into consideration. The experience was so horrific, I wouldn't recommend this moving company to my worst enemy. Find yourself a more reputable company and do not get suckered into doing business with this organization - you can thank me later.

   ABSOLUTELY THE WORST AND SCAMMERS

   Everything all the 1 star reviews say are true. Took over a month to get furniture on move from PA to FL. Didn't deliver when promised with no updates and then charged more $$$ or wouldn't deliver. Furniture delivered filty and or damaged. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE COMPANY! STAY AWAY OR YOU'LL BE SORRY! NEGATIVE STARS IF POSSIBLE.

   Worst company!!

   This company was hired to move my things from FL to MD. They put my belongings in an extremely hot warehouse for 30+ days to where my candles melted and fragrance spray bottles expanded. There was zero communication or weekly updates. Once they pickup your furniture you will not hear from them! They destroyed/cracked my tv screen, broke/cracked my tall floor mirror, and broke my candles/vases. They personally wrapped my tv and mirror but STILL broke them. Don’t waste your time with this company…RUN!!!

   Horrible ppl! DO NOT USE

   I’m experiencing the same thing. These ppl are horrible and they are a scam! AVOID at all costs! DO NOT use this service. I researched moving companies and they had no bad reviews & the guy who called me Paul was very nice and professional. Don’t be fooled. The price they send you is bait and switch. ANd if you sign up with them you will end up paying double due to them underestimating your inventory. Then, they’ll sign you up with a sub par moving company that acts like the mob. Horrible customer service and no communication. They lie about delivery timelines and You’re better off moving yourself or paying to have a reputable company move you. I have paid for my things, double the price I was quoted. I owe more if/when my things are delivered and it’s been 3 weeks. The broker and the actual moving company can’t tell me when I’ll receive my possessions not to mention, all my items are sitting in a one star storage unit that I didn’t agree to store them at. BEWARE & AVOID at all costs!

   It’s been over 3 weeks and I am still waiting for my furniture. I was never told it was going to take this long. I get same excuse every time I call and told it’s on the way. I still have things to be moved but will definitely not use this company ever again. I can’t imagine the shape my things will be in if n when they get here.

   Horrible Company

   I would love to give them negative stars. They were absolutely horrible. They arrived almost two hours after the given window to pick up my stuff. After 3 hours, when they were done loading everything onto the truck, the movers told me my stuff was taking up a little more space and it would be a little more than I was quoted. I was originally quoted $1600, but my new rate was $2500. The next day I paid half of that in order to be put on the schedule and was told I would be put on the schedule the next day. They picked up my stuff ten days before I moved in order for me to receive my things close to the day I moved. I called everyday asking for an update and would just be told "I'll know more by the end of the day", it was an endless cycle. I did not actually get put on the schedule until almost two weeks later. So I was just living in my new empty apartment, hoping this company would deliver my belongings, but seriously questioning that because of the horrible communication. The lady in the office would tell me she would call me later with an update and I would hear nothing, and if I called and questioned things, I got an attitude and no help. I was told my stuff would finally be delivered three weeks after they picked it all up. The moving truck gets to my new place and I'm made to pay the rest of my balance in full before the movers will start unloading everything. Then, it turns out that only half of my belongings were on this truck and the rest would be delivered "soon." The rest of the stuff got there three days later, and I had to pay an additional fee for them to unload my belongings. Almost all of my boxes were crushed, my full length mirror was broken, my shoe rack was broken, and they lost all of the support beams to my bed. I submitted a claim over a month ago with them and have yet to hear back. This company is a nightmare. The lady in the office is so rude and unwilling to help. Please don't give them your business. You will regret it.

   M&D Pro Movers LLC Hollywood FL

   Hired D&A Transport to move from NY to DE, ‘sister’ company M&D Pro Movers LLC., would be there on Oct. 28. Sent in a comprehensive inventory of our 2800 sq ft NY home. We were told it was 1691 CuFt at a cost of $4750 as per the BINDING SALES AGREEMENT. They charged a $750 reservation fee. We were to pay $2000 on pick up in NY and $2000 on delivery in DE. The two movers arrived 5 hours late. Spent 7 hours loading the truck, told us that it was more than 1691 CuFt it would fill the entire truck. They were not expecting the unstackable items. No price change was given verbally or contractually. They were to be in DE by 10 am the next day. They showed up at 2:30, stated the price was $9356 to be paid in cash, cert check or PO check or they couldn’t take anything off the truck. Called David Rondon (President of D&A Transport) he stated that he doesn’t accept credit cards, debit or checks. Why did ¾ of the truck cost $4750. and the last ¼ cost 4606? They double charged the reservation fee. With the help of our daughter, we Venmoed the money to Rondon. The movers had to go back to NY to get the rest of our belongings because they underestimated BINDING SALES AGREEMENT. Foreman said that he can accurately estimate CuFt. He told Rondon that there was 1200 CuFt left in NY. Rondon said he would give us a huge discount charging $2500 for the second trip. When they got to NY, Foreman said that it was going to take the whole truck for another $9000. We told him to fill up to the 1200 cu ft mark. He wanted payment in full at that time. My other daughter Venmoed Rondon. Furniture was scratched, scuffed, broken, China closet glass broken. Items left in garage and not set up as contractually agreed. Countless calls and emails to Rondon went unanswered. e had to finally ask for a copy of the bill after the second trip to Delaware. W THESE GUYS ARE SCAMMERS AND USED THE OLD BAIT AND SWITCH TO KEEP FURNITURE HOSTAGE AND TRIPLE THE AGREED UPON COST FOR A TOTAL OF $11356! Still have not received any reimbursement or satisfaction caused by this nightmare company.
