   No Complaints

My mover was Thomas, and I can't recall the name of the second guy, but they were quick and efficient. Will be using them the next time I move for sure.

   Great services

The two guys were getting me out of the old place and into the new one. They were really careful with everything, helped me arrange the furniture, and made it, so I felt at home right away. I will use them for any kind of move and will also recommend them to anyone who is looking for a move. Highly recommend!

   Well done!

I'm REALLY impressed at how they maneuvered my bed through a tight hallway and difficult doorways without having to disassemble it. Our movers were David and Wyatt, and they were amazing. Every item was treated with absolute care; they were so efficient and worked extremely fast. I highly recommend them!

   King movers!

These guys were on time, very quick, and extremely professional. The whole move across town was finished way faster and cheaper than I expected. I guess I don’t have to say more about these guys. They are the BEST!

   Most terrible moving experience, ever!!

I’ve moved more than 10 times in my life. This was a horrible experience. They destroyed family heirlooms that are invaluable to me. They cannot be fixed. Liars, cheaters, arrogant, basically punks! They won’t honor my claim! I’ve lost memories that can never be recovered. Put a price on that!! Don’t do business with these shysters. You will regret it!

   Theft of deposit

Route 66 Moving & Storage was given a deposit of $1337 on Aug 3,2021. Later that day, I canceled the move. The contract said I had 27 days to cancel. The company continues to refuse to return the deposit. Every excuse in the book was given. I still have NO money. The BBB tried to help but they got the run around also. I would be forced to take them to court. As a widow and senior living out of state now, this would be very difficult for me. Keep this in mind if you consider using this company.

   Route 66 Moving and Storage

Moved from Florida to Ohio with this company. Took two months to receive my belongings and every single piece of furniture that I owned was damaged. This POS company offered me $160. The customer service sucks and their operation manager sucks even more. Do not use this company.

    DO NOT HIRE.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!! I hired Route 66 for my move, and initially was so impressed by their friendly sales reps, and thought this move would be a breeze. (During and after moving day, forget about the friendly sales reps, you are in the lion's den). Long story short, the company scammed me out of $3,800!!! They lost and damaged so many pieces of furniture, charged me almost double for my cubic footage (then threatened to hold my stuff hostage if I didn't pay the overage), and charged me for services I didn't sign up for. I called/emailed/filed complaints to Route 66 and every company I could think of (Dpt of Transportation, Attorney Generals, BBB, you name it), and Route 66 either did not respond, or responded by saying it is not their problem. My fiance and I, both college students, are scammed out of thousands and thousands of dollars, and Route 66 has not given us a single penny back. (Despite us buying insurance through them…Hm fishy!!!) Hiring Route 66 is honestly the biggest regret I have had of my life so far, as it has put us under SO much financial and emotional stress. Please. Head my warning!
