   On July 23rd, 2021 I had S and M Relo LLC move my home from Indiana to Florida. The company that contracted the move had assured me that my home items and business furniture would be safe. It took until September for truck to come. When boxes were delivered items were broken, boxes had missing items, my palm tree it’s leaves were broken on off, my brand new queen mattress was missing, the 2 Jamaican boys tried to deliver junk that wasn’t mine , my elliptical was broken, refused to take my church pew that was family memoir. I called numerous times , tried to follow claim, rude customer service, refuse to return call. Paid more than I contract stated. Contracting company Lee and Steve refused to answer or reimbursement for missing bed , lost items and broken items. Do not use this company, they have thieves working for them. Now it has been going on 3 years and still no reimbursement. The company does not pay face value of merchandise unless you add extra costly insurance. When they loaded my bed they spoke in foreign language while holding mattress. I ask what they said one Tony said he was trying to use mattress to hold everything from falling. Already my heart told me not intention. I have several Jamaican friends who are honest not thieves.

   BUYER BEWARE - S & M Relo are crooks

   This is the first time we made an interstate move. We had no idea the first person we talked to was a broker who then assigned us to S & M Relo LLC near Columbus OH. The broker based our “estimate” on the number of boxes and items we would be shipping. We had to guess as we didn’t have everything packed at this point. When the movers came to pick up our load, we didn’t have nearly the amount of items that we originally priced out. S & M refused to negotiate a new price, so we ended up having to over pay for our move. They moved our belongings to Florida within a timely manner however, some of our furniture was damaged because they failed to wrap items as was promised. They also stole items from us. Each time I call customer service, all I get are excuses (that’s if they even answer the phone!) and no one will call you back. They want me to file a claim with the insurance company who is about worthless as well. They will only pay cents on the dollar which does nothing for replacing damaged and lost items that are of family value. I’m sorry we used these crooks and would never recommend them to anyone – BUYER BEWARE!!! Do your research and you will find numerous complaints on social media and the web. If you live near Columbus and have either a local or interstate move, contact Campbell Brothers in Lancaster. They are amazing, fair and honest. Their employees are respectful of your property and work very hard to make every move a good move.

   This company delayed my delivery for almost two months. On inspection of the delivery some of my items were visually broken in the back of the truck. Boxes had holes in them and some of my items had fallen out while being delivered and were already wet. Boxes were missing, items were broken and my computer was stolen. They used staff that weren't able to write a comprehensible itinerary and it was impossible to read the items that were listed. A job that should have cost $3,500 ended up over $8,000 total or I would not receive my possession. Their insurance recovery process was a mess and very difficult to follow. Their secretary was rude and knew nothing about the business nor when my item would have been delivered. The manager Steve Coburn was never around to answer my questions. Do not use this company under any circumstances as they are not responsible nor professional enough to care for your items of love. I lost so much stuff that I can't even bear to think about it.

   TERRIBLE COMPANY THEY WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING

   This company delayed until 45 business days to get me "some of my items". The move cost $6K, they did over $8K in damages and lost items. Boxes had holes in them like animals ate them, water damage on everything, boxes looked like they had been thrown several times, Fragile or not. They lost a mattress, not sure how you do that. On the day of the move they tried to upcharge me on all agreed upon items. Had to sell my motorcycle because they decided they couldn't move it for the agreed upon $400 but now wanted $1200 to move it day of. Now after all of this, it has taken months to try and get compensation, and they offered me $96 refund. $96. This move ended up costing me $14k in the end, they even lost every picture I've ever had of friends and family. Terrible, shady company. Run away.

   Stole our money

   This company overcharged us by $9500. They made us pay to move 3600 cubic feet and when it was delivered it was only 1800 cubic feet and was on the truck drivers paperwork. WE hired a lawyer and they just ignored him and us with multiple agencies and request. They are crooks. STAY AWAY.

   Moving from MN to TN

   First time I write a review, but I want to share so there is no one making same mistake. They moved my belongins from MI to TN, my biggest and more expensive item was my King Size mattrase. So at delivery they came without them. Right know I am filling a claim and I just realized they will pay .6 cents per Lb. So that mean that I will get my refounds of about 300 for a 3K matsrasse. They lost other things and some other are damaged. DO NOT HIRE THEM! I paid 6K but wish I had moved all by myself using Uhaul.

   This company is a SCAM. Paid for 1100 CF and they only delivered 850 CF. Moved my personal belongings to two different "storage" places before actually delivering my items. Charged for boxes they never used AND charged for packing of those boxes - what a scam. Many items damaged, broken or never delivered. Many boxes had been opened and gone through prior to delivery. One box had dog food in it and I do not even own a dog. Black foot prints on several photos that were strewn in several boxes. Obviously a box with photos had broken open in the move and the movers casually opened several other boxes and threw them in. Attempted to charge for delivery when they attempted delivery but never called me about it and the driver did not have to correct phone number. Needless to say he did not have the Bill of Lading that is to accompany the contents of the move at all times. Response from the company was horrific. The company they use for file claims is as "shoddy" as they are. They did not respond to requests and if they ever did it was an automated response that indicated your request for more information or details was never read. Online procedure for submission of claim did not allow you to print what had been submitted. Overall no one should have to go through the insanity that happens when using this company or their claims processor.

   These ARE NOT professional movers. They are con men who destroy irreplaceable family antique furniture and glassware. Also, you will never, ever get all your stuff back. I paid them over $11,000. They are scammers.

   I honestly do not know where to begin so I'll start with some basic info. I (25yo M) moving from South Carolina to California. Was assigned to this company via a broker (an additional issue with my move as well) without being told. The broker company gave S&M 2 different versions of my contract, S&M had multiple drivers try and pick up my items on various dates before my actual pickup date Dec. 10th (as early as a full week and a half). Upon pickup the poor driver had to deal with issues on the load list, having 2 separate contracts out, being told they could come up drive but not being able too, long waits trying to get in touch with CS, additional payments, and more. Arrived at my house around 10am was not able to pack anything and ended up leaving well after dark only to have to come back the next day to actually pack my items. Their "warehouse" people was telling my driver to pack 1.5 tiers (less than 125cf) despite my contract (now the 3rd contract total) being for 300cf. Driver was on the phone with dispatch, warehouse, and eventually company owner about all of these issues. Owner told him to pack it he would deal with warehouse, warehouse called back yelling loudly enough for me to hear as well. Driver ended up getting fired in my living room while packing my items. All of this was on a Saturday (original pickup date was the day before), was told items would be picked up and sent to the warehouse on Monday. Items were not picked up until Wednesday, then sat in a Georgia based Warehouse until January 23rd. Delivery driver noticed some of my boxes were missing (60in Flat screen TV, Orange Suitcase with Rock climbing gear, 2 large boxes and others)and called me to tell me they were and spoke with the packer about them, packer said they were on there, driver checked again and did not see them even read me off the item numbers (they were not in the truck) was told to speak to warehouse manager, manager said speak to packer and was looped about. Items arrived in CA on the 24th, items still missing along with other things damaged. A family heirloom (1800's Tigerwood pedestal dining table) had all 4 legs missing (was packed in SC with all legs attached due to age and rust) and one section completely ripped off the pedestal, it is now damaged beyond repair. A handcrafted solid cedar bookcase my grandfather made me is cracked in half and split/chipped in multiple places. Close to $9k in damaged and missing items with less than $200 actually being "insured". All in all everything about this company is rotten, horrid, and trash. You'd be better off renting a van and doing it all yourself. Save yourself a few k's in the process as well.

    Bloody horrible

    I was assigned them by a moving broker. They immediately nearly doubled the price. Were three days late on pickup. I paid for full service and they didn't even bring boxes. They threw stuff in trash bags (kitchen stuff) and used boxes I had saved. It took four weeks to get my items. Several things were missing, either misdelivered or stolen. Over $700 in items Their answer was offering me $79 for my "trouble". The owner was snide and near impossible to reach I would rather use a mule train next time.
