I feel I need to warn potential customers about this company. The company gave me a low estimate based on the fact that we boxed or crated all the items we were shipping. The "movers" showed up late, were rude and attempted to tell me how much they were going to add to my bill for a "tip". Had I had another option at that point, I would have told them to leave. They charged me an additional $150.00 for a "wooden crate" that was "required" to move my stone top patio set. It arrived TWO and ONE HALF MONTHS later, damaged by the guys they sent to deliver my items, the way I had packed it, no crate. Every box had rodent urine and feces in them and several of my shoes, eaten by some rodent. The mattress and box spring arrived with the same evidence of rodent activity as well as being ripped, torn and beyond filthy. Once this company "sells" you their services, they are not helpful at all and in fact lied to me on several occasions. As did the vender this company hired to move my items. This company seems to feel that despite being the broker who hires these sub-contractors, they have zero responsibility for the end results. The actual cost was three times the original estimate! Trying to put a claim in has been a nightmare and this company has been no help. I usually try to write only positive reviews for those companies that still demonstrate pride in their performance/services but in this case, I felt I really needed to warn other consumers. This company is not BBB approved for obvious reasons even as they claim to be. My items were held for over two months and I feel very fortunate, I had made other arrangements and was not sleeping on the floor of an empty house, some others may not be as lucky. This whole experience has been one long nightmare and I warn you, find a company who actually does the moving, the cost is so much less in the long run.

    Refund for a non move

Had US Pro movers scheduled back in February of this year. Com time to move in August, but was delayed, delayed, delayed,?till we finally said, we are done, asked for our refund, was told we would get it on September 1. September 1 came was told by the end of the day. Call on the 2nd was told within 30 days, called on the 3rd was told it will take 4-6 weeks to get the refund. Witch is unacceptable. So if you want these AS-Holes to move you forget it.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. HUGE SCAM AND RIPOFF. When I first contacted this company the sales representative I talked to told us our move would be really easy and quick for us. We got our quote and the sales rep stated “based off the distance your items should be delivered within 5 days of pickup.” Once we got closer to our move date we did the call where we tell them everything we have and they document it for a 2nd time to give us an accurate quote. At the end of the call the sales rep again assured us “your items should be delivered within 6days from pickup, but legally we have to tell you 5-14 days.” My husband and I felt like he was honest and we were working with honest people. Turns out he was just trying to lock us into the contract whispering sweet nothings into our ear. So we move across the country with our 2 kids. Once we arrived it had already been 6 days since the pickup date. We called trying to figure out what was going on and we were told “no, we never told you it would be delivered within 6 days. It’s 6-18 days from first available DROP OFF date. Your items are sitting in a storage shed and we are now looking for a company to pick your stuff up and drive it to you.” HUH? I was never once told that my items were going to be sitting in a shed. They dismissed all of my claims that I have been given false information. So my two kids and I have been sleeping on the ground in our new home with NO belongings. Everyone I’ve spoken to from this company has acted like I knew what was going on this entire time. I WOULD NOT HAVE GONE WITH YOUR COMPANY IF I THOUGHT MY CHILDREN WOULD BE SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR FOR NEARLY TWO WEEKS. This company is a scam, the sales reps will tell you what you want to hear to make a sale. Nobody cares about customer satisfaction once they make that initial sale. They will lie to you, scam you, and then make you feel crazy after they already have your money. Horrible company and horrible people.

    SCAM!!!!

This place is a scam. I called UsPro first thinking I was making an appointment with them. But apparently they are a broker, so they pawned me off to Luxury Van Lines. I told UsPro over the phone I’m moving a one bedroom apartment and went through all the items I have. They recommend the amount of space I would need and gave me a very reasonable quote. I put down a half down deposit of about $1,500. I was moving from VA to OR. The day they arrived the team told me I would need a lot more space on the truck and my new quote was $6,000. I was very upset and asked them to leave, but they talked me into going with them because he gave me a $700 discount and the deposit is non- refundable. Being very aggravated and frazzled I was ready to get them out of my apartment after they packed up all my things. Which they did an okay job at. They wrapped my mattress in a mattress protector I bought from Home Depot and I thought they used plenty of blankets on my other belongings Signing all the documents went quickly. The guy who was pointing at the places I need to sign made it seem like my items would be insured and safe. He had already talked me into going with their company so I thought I could trust them, plus I gave them a really nice tip. So I thought they would at least try take care of my things. I was excited to go with this company in the first place because they offer 30 free days of storage because I did not have a place to live in OR yet. Fast forward two months and $300 worth of storage fees later I am ready to have my items delivered. I called two weeks prior to my move in day, asking for my items to be delivered. But apparently the day you give them is when they start processing. So all in all it took them a little more than 4 weeks for me to get my things to me. Delivery day comes around and they are completely off schedule without notifying me. Luckily I was home when they knocked on the door. They start rolling my belongings in and I notice fragile boxes are smashed, my automatic trash can is dented, my tv screen is smashed, the power cord is lost, my bed is folded in half and covered pink mildew, legs of furniture are missing, a side table is covered in black mold. I’m crying, and the delivery guy is like, it’s okay. Well get you a new tv and a new bed! I don’t believe him in the slightest, but he keeps pointed to a part on the contract that makes it seem like I will. So I sign and they leave. As I am trying to file my claim today 7/15 the guy who talked me into going with the company apparently had me sign on the line that said I refused the insurance and I choose the free version which only covers $0.60 a pound. Now my brand new $1,800 purple mattress and $500 55” screen TV are worth $100 max. This is obviously how they afford to stay in business otherwise they would have been bankrupt a long time ago. I don’t know how these people live with themselves and their company deserves to be shut down.

Nightmare move from CT to FL

I hired Pro Movers in January 2021 for a move from CT to Fl on 2/26/21. I signed an online contract and gave them a deposit. As an inexperienced mover I completely missed the part of their actually not being the movers but brokers. The company Reliable Movers out of Fort Lee, NJ turned out to be a nightmare. My inventory was delivered to Fl on 3/7 with a broken table and two missing items, a secretary desk and a Lane hope chest. The desk was found in their warehouse in NJ, the hope chest turned up in Texas where it sat in a warehouse for 3 months. By the time I received both items on 6/8 they were destroyed beyond repair. I was told by Pro Movers that my furniture was covered 100% but according to Reliable Movers I am covered for $.60 a lb. As of today, 8/6, there is no solution to this issue. The hope chest is from 1965 and not replaceable and neither is the desk. My complaint is the dishonesty from both companies but most of all from Pro Movers as they took $1000 from me in down payment and never informed me that they were not my movers. The move actually cost me twice what I was quoted even after their cut. As a senior living on a fixed income, this was not the way I wanted to start my retirement. I down sized before moving to take the stress and cost down which wasn't the case. The anxiety these two companies caused me, well you can't put a price tag on that. Caveat emptor. Never, ever use these 2 agencies.

    Long Distance Move

I used US Pro Logistics for a long distance move from California to Texas. I have never seen a company so mismanaged. I cannot get a hold of them through any of their numbers. I have called multiple times, always early in their business hours, every time there would be 8-11 callers ahead of me, I would wait on hold until it was my turn only to hear "you have reached us after hours" after an hour and 45 minutes of waiting to speak to someone!! They have had our household items for over 20 days with absolutely no communication in regards to when we'll see our stuff again. I highly doubt at this point we will see our stuff again.

    They are thief, go away

We received a quote form Guy Fisher with a cost of $3000. He asked for a deposit of $1003 on April 6th. Over month and a half later he called us two days prior our moving. Told us that our quote was under estimate, and he increased the price for a $6000. He was really rude to us asking us another deposit for the truck reservation for $1750. We didn’t have all that money in our bank account so we just paid $1250. They used our bank account information for getting the deposit of $1250 twice. We called our bank and stopped those charges. Another guy call Pablo called me on the day of our moving and he asked us another amount of money so they can come and pick up our stuff. We just decided to cancel the service. We tried to contact them through all the phones on their website. All of them were disconnected or unable to receive voice messages. They never answer the calls. Also Guy Fisher block our phone numbers; both my husband and me. We requested them through BBB our $1003 dollars back. They said there were not going to give us our money back. Basically they are THIEF. Don’t believe on their 5 stars reviews cause they are paid by US PRO MOVING AND LOGISTICS.

Deceptive and not willing to take responsibility

I was also told my move would cost $1418.06. In my initial conversation with Ryan, he also told me that I would be able to make my payment due at pickup via credit card and the moving company was not able to accommodate that request. I explained my items over and over again to Ryan and he still put down the wrong items. I told him several times that I have a king and queen mattress sets with the mattress and box springs. He did not include the box springs into the quote. Because I am only a customer, when I reviewed the quote, I thought the description of king and queen mattress also included the box springs. I was angry and surprised to find out that the quote did not include the box springs. When I received the called for my final list of items, I asked to include a few more items into the quote and I was allotted 397 cubic feet and my move costs increased to $2149.38. I even removed 15 boxes that I previously said that I would move. That increase was substantial especially since I only added a kitchen table and the box springs that should have been added in the first place. Prior to the move date, I called several times to find out how much it would cost for me to add items to my move so that I would have a good estimate of how much the move would cost and I was that I would receive a call a week prior to my move date to discuss that. Almost every time I called; I was on hold for an hour to longer only to be hung up on when the call was finally answered. I did not get that call until 2 days before my move was scheduled. A day prior to my scheduled move date, I got a call asking if my items could be picked up early. Regretfully, I agreed because I wanted to more time to prepare for the move especially because I was sick the week before. When the movers arrived, I was told that the items I had exceeded the cubic feet that I was being allotted for my move and that my mattresses alone took up that cubic footage. The movers also did not have the corrected final items paperwork that included the additional items that I wanted to move and I had to pay even more money ($2717.95). I had no way to dispute this practice. There is no way I should have been told one price over the phone then another in person without anyway to dispute this at the time of the move. I was also told that I would not be able to use my credit card to pay for the pickup costs. I was angry. Of course, the contract that I signed worked to the favor the company and I was not allowed to cancel without losing my deposit. I wanted to cancel because I was deceived the entire time. As the move commenced, the movers damaged a part of the wall coming down a set of stairs by scrapping the box spring against it. They also put both of my metal bed frames together incorrectly and did not tell me they did not know how to put them together. All they had to do was ask me and I would have told them how to properly put the frames together or I could have done it myself. When I called their dispatch to complain I was further insulted because I was told that the metal frames are affected by weight. I have had the frames for several years now. My weight was not the problem. The problem was that the movers did not attach the middle support to the frame and the had the extension piece that transforms the mattress to different sizes on upside down and the middle extender could not be connected to the frame. The picture I attached shows that middle support laying on the floor after I took the mattress and box spring off. The middle support is laying there because the movers did not even attach it. When I sat on the bed there was no middle support which caused the frame to collapse and bend, the bed to collapse, and the frame was not repairable. I had to purchase a new frame because of this. It was a good thing that I decided to check the queen bed frame after the incident with the king bed frame because I learned that that frame was also just thrown together and the mattresses where not even fitting in the frame correctly because the movers put them together without fully extending the railings. I would like this matter resolved. I cannot believe that I paid over $2100 to be treated in such a deceptive manner and that your company can operate with no regard for customer service or satisfaction. I debated several times about whether to write file a complaint. I work too hard to spend and be mistreated by a company. I called customer service was told that all I can do with write an email to complain. I cannot even get in contact with anyone to get a new invoice. It is like the company put me on a do not call list and is not answering any of my calls. I am tried of this and US Pro Movers needs to be put out of business. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CHEATED.
