   Rates are reasonable.

   I was really impressed with the level of service I received from Liz she actually took the time to help out and explain everything. My husband was already in BC and myself and my 3 kids were left to deal with the move on our own. She was great to deal with and answered all of our emails and questions (both me and my husband were emailing her..lol). She was patient and great to deal with - she herself deserves a 5 START. As for the move iteslf, everything went ok - no major delays or damages, some very minor stuff. The staff were great and the price at the end was reasonable.

   Terrible, liars, worst service ever.

   They sound so kind and gentle before you sign the contract, after that, is just rudeness, lies and staling. They lied about the pick up date, said they could get the furniture on the day I asked, and when no one showed up and I called, they were super rude, saying the contract estipulate an amount of days they could show up. I have no furniture still, even after 2 weeks AFTER they predicated delivery day. Every time I called to inquire, they said that my furniture "was arriving soon", but after 2 weeks, when I called again, they tried to put the blame on me, saying I didn't provide the address. I've had to prove I did send the address by email and it was, actually, confirmed at that time by one of the receptionists. They are liars, don't hire them! 1 star is more than they deserve. I do believe they remove themselves from Google so we couldn't share the reviews there.

   Never again, worst experience ever, so many broken items

   If you value your belongings and appreciate ethical behaviour, please do not use this company. I chose Kingsway because they were about the only ones I could find that were available for a quick move. Now I know why. I experienced the same issues as everyone else here: damaged furniture; dropped boxes with smashed contents, including some items that I will never be able to replace – they had the nerve to blame my packing (funny how there was nothing broken in the boxes that didn’t get dropped); late arrival, well past 8:00 PM in a building with seniors with no thought for the residents; submitted a claim for damages and was told to wait 8 to 10 weeks for a response, but they couldn’t be bothered to contact me so after 13 weeks, I had to send another email, only to find out they had no intention of reimbursing me for anything. They mentioned something about not buying the right insurance coverage but I couldn’t find anything about being offered insurance to cover carelessness. I will be moving again within a couple of years, so not only have they received this negative review from a past customer… they have also lost a future customer.

   The Worst ever, Close to $10K in loses be careful

   Kingsway van lines are a bunch of Criminals, misrepresented everything and take you hostage they will take a quick deposit on CC after that all cash no recourse, no insurance. Several items where stolen lost including an heirloom vintage Guitar and amp i lost $5000-$7000 including damages. Delivered 4 weeks late incurred extra cost because for that. They blackmail signatures out of you, however they don't reconcile the load, NO PROOF OF WEIGHT NO SCALE TICKET NOTHING. THIS IS THE WORST EVER DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM EVER. I WILL MAKE IT MY MISSION IN TO PUT THESE PEOPLES OUT OF BUISNESS FOREVER. BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD THEY NEVER tried to make it Right.

   Worst experience ever.

   Very dishonest company. Our original quote was about 970$, but at the end we had to pay about twice this amount. There are so many hidden fees. They took our belongings and stored them for 3 days and charged us for it even though we didn’t want it to be stored. I wish we’d seen the reviews before calling them. HUGE regret. Do not EVER use this compony.

   How are these crooks still in business. Someone shut these scum bags down. Worst company I have ever dealt with and absolutely dishonest. Your quote will be wrong and once they have your belongings you are out of luck. They will hold them like hostages while they over charge you a ransom not even close to what you agreed upon. They shouldn’t get shut down..they should get put in prison.

   Awful!!

   We had recently used this company to move from Edmonton to southern Alberta. When the movers had arrived they were throwing around my things and I called them out on it. When they left they we had the understanding that our furniture would arrive between December 1-5. Well when our belongings did not arrive we had sent an email and they explained that is when our belongings would be leaving between then and it will take 7-12 days to get our belongings to our destination. We waited the 12 days, still no sign of our belongings. When we emailed them again asking where our stuff is they said it will take 7-12 BUSINESS days. We were not happy. When they finally delivered on December 27th they said they'd be here between 2-6 o'clock, they showed up at 9 pm as my husband and I were getting ready for bed. We only received half our crib, which the guy tried to blame me and my grandmother for not grabbing. our TV stand was damaged and it was obvious they did not treat our belongings with respect. We are also missing pieces of our bed and cannot but our bed back together. They also gave us someone else's screws that we had found in a bag of ours. They also almost gave us someone else's cot that clearly had a different tag colour than ours. We filled out the claims form and they are now saying that it will take 6 to 8 weeks to process!! HOW in the world does a 9 month pregnant woman get her crib and nursery set up when she is missing half her crib and her baby could be here any day!? I am absolutely disgusted with the way our belongings were handled and the customer service was awful. If I could go back I would have called a different company that has better ratings. This company just scams innocent people and gives them the run around. I do not recommend them to anyone.

   Horrible service.

   This was just a horrible experience. It started with them showing up a week earlier than planned to pick up my items (Halifax to Ottawa) - so I had to book work off on short notice without pay.. and having me wait a month and a half for my items to arrive in Ottawa. I loved sleeping on an air mattress for that long! The movers in Halifax were VERY rude, tried to add extra costs, didn't move the truck close enough to the door (they had the room to) and I ended up moving all of my items to their truck while they walked to McDonalds and smoked - so I could avoid a $450 "long carry" charge. They were also 5 hours later then they said they would be. When the items finally arrived in Ottawa, a bunch of items were damaged, boxes were ripped open, etc.. and they offered me a measly $45 for my damages.. 8 weeks later!! There were roughly $5000 in damages.. that $45 will definitely go a long way.. I then emailed them about the horrible service and how I would like to speak to someone regarding this.. the person I spoke with ignored me, and now she's on vacation until the 28th so I guess I'll have to wait until then because no one else will answer me :) No matter the cost and what you "THINK" it will total, do not go with this company. So much stress and horrible results. Go with ANY other company.

    Horrible.

    Moved from lloydminster,Alberta to Brechin, Ontario on June 13 the picked up my stuff. They damaged my newly refurnished hardwood floors and damaged walls that where just painted as the house was for sell. That was just the start of the damage they did to my stuff. My kitchen table and chairs had chunks taken out. My dressers drawers were broken. Total estimated damage was over $3500. I also do not believe our load weighted as much as they said. They charged us over $8100.
