   Moving

   I recently moved from Canada,BC to India and had very good experience. They are reasonable, not very expensive. Professional people. They are very polite and did good packing. Their allies in India were also very professional and cooperative. It was a seamless moving. I would recommend them for moving.

   Overall good with one caveat

   Overall did well in our move from Toronto to Japan. All things arrived as expected. Our main concern was that that the packing wrap was applied directly to the furniture and was difficult in some cases to get off; we raised it as a concern at the time and the packers said it should not be a problem but actually was in the end.

   Reasonable service, reasonable cost, met my expectations

   I paid Brytor to ship a 1 bedroom apartment from the United States to Canada. They provided an initial estimate of $3,100 USD. I paid this before they arrived for the pickup. During the pickup, I asked them to take some extra items that were not in my estimate. I paid an additional $700 USD, which I felt was reasonable. My items arrived in Canada in a few weeks and I completed customs acceptance. One month from the initial pickup, they delivered my items and there was no significant damage. Overall I was satisfied and would recommend people consider this service.

   Never again

   Our experience with Brytor International Moving was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We moved from Idaho to Québec and experienced months of delays, poor communication, damaged belongings, and an exhausting claims process afterward. The biggest issue throughout the move was communication. Our coordinator, Karol, regularly provided vague, copy-and-paste style responses that rarely answered our direct questions. We would often wait a week or more just to receive generic updates while our belongings remained delayed with no clear timeline. The delays impacted our family far beyond inconvenience. At the time our belongings were picked up, our daughter was only around 5.5 months old. By the time many of our items finally arrived, she was nearly 11 months old. Because of the excessive delay, she completely outgrew many clothes, baby items, and belongings without ever even getting the chance to use them. As new parents trying to settle into a new country, that was incredibly frustrating and upsetting. We repeatedly tried to be proactive and cooperative throughout the process. Before pickup, we completed and returned the documentation we believed was required and even followed up asking if anything else was needed. Despite this, after our shipment arrived damaged, we were told the protection coverage we believed we had paid for was never activated due to an additional step that was never clearly communicated to us in any meaningful way. Our items arrived in unacceptable condition: * Our mattress arrived filthy and damaged despite purchasing a mattress protection cover beforehand. * Our solid wood bed frame arrived chipped, gouged, scraped, and cracked in multiple places. * Even the unloading movers commented on how poor the packing condition was. After 6 months of delays and damaged furniture, Brytor offered only minimal compensation based on basic carrier liability. Worse, they required us to sign a release agreement and remove our FMCSA complaint and public reviews before any payment would be issued. We requested an in-person meeting to discuss the matter professionally and were denied. At the end of this process, we were left feeling ignored, blamed, and pressured into giving up our rights and honest reviews in exchange for compensation. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this company: * thoroughly review every insurance/protection requirement themselves, * document absolutely everything, * and keep all communication in writing. Unfortunately, this was one of the most stressful customer service experiences we have ever dealt with.

   Extremely disappointing experience with Brytor International Moving

   I hired Brytor for my move from Redmond, Washington to Toronto, and the experience was frustrating from start to finish. Delivery took almost three months longer than expected, and one of my most valuable items, a PlayStation 5, went missing during transit. When the shipment finally arrived, the box that had contained the PS5 was already open. Brytor’s own claims department confirmed in writing that the box was received already open when it reached their facility, which is very concerning and makes the situation feel highly suspicious. Before the move, I discussed purchasing the All Risk protection plan with Brytor staff and completed the valued inventory list they requested. Despite that, they later claimed that my insurance was not activated because a different form had not been submitted. At no point did anyone tell me that my coverage would not be valid or that further steps were required. Communication throughout the move was inconsistent and often confusing. I received conflicting information about where my belongings were and had to keep following up to get any updates. When the items finally arrived, some boxes appeared mishandled, and the missing PS5 issue was never properly resolved. Instead of taking responsibility, Brytor referred me to a subcontractor, which made things even more difficult. The entire experience has been stressful and disappointing. Based on what happened, especially the fact that one of my boxes was reportedly received open at their facility, I completely lost confidence in how my shipment was handled. I now have to take Brytor to small claims court to seek reimbursement for the missing item. If you are planning an international move, I strongly recommend choosing another company. Make sure every insurance and coverage detail is confirmed in writing before your belongings are shipped. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend not choosing Brytor International Moving for your move.

The documents provided were only customs packing lists for shipping. The shipment delay was due to circumstances beyond our control, as the issue was with customs.    The relocation from this company in Canada Brytor, and in Spain AGS ( giving 2 emails with the people I worked with chandra@ims.brytor.ca and sebastian.alvarado@ags-globalsolutions.com) was the worst experience of my life. I am not sure and still thinking that this is was a SCAM. I was misguided on many occasions and documents, so I was told, to customs in Spain were submitted by Chandra without my consent. She even estimated the value of my shipment and submitted it on my behave without my consent. The last document being Dirigido al actuario de la Aduanav (Addressed to the Customs Actuary) was delayed by a month due to me receiving the wrong information from Sebastian Alvarado and him being on holiday. There was no one to assist me, finally a family friend a layer formatted the document and it was accepted. I asked on many occasions if I should involve a lawyer in. the process, but was not never given a definite answer. There are many other details about my move such as in case of delay, the storage would be only 100 Euro a month (and I have emails from Chandra on this) at the end, I ended up spending 7500 Euro just to have my personal belongings and my car released. Since my items were already in storage for 2+ months, I had to pay import taxes in Spain on my car which could have been avoided if everything had been done on time. I have many other issues with both people I worked with on my relocation, if you have any questions, you can contact me directly via DM. I would suggest avoiding both companies and both of these individuals, (Chandra and Sebastian Alvarado) if you are thinking of relocating to Europe. I should have taken the reviews of both companies seriously but I was driven by the relocation price. Their rating is very low and please take them seriously, because they are real. I won't say anymore as I will be taking these companies and individuals to court as soon as I am back in Canada. Do your research and IGNORE AGS and ims.brytor.ca in your relocation selection.    Move from Canada to US

   I have trusted Brytor as they are highly recommended by my friend. I chose them for the move from Canada to US. The cost is high but I went ahead with them to put my mind in peace for this stressful relocation with a trust that they will take care of everything. My Furnitures arrived seriously damaged. Very poor quality of packaging, most of them just covered by a thin layer of plastic. Furniture placed upside down and caused serious scratches. Scratches, lost of pieces on edges, dents...The delivery crew said sorry to me and explained this is all due to the terrible packaging! I raised this to Brytor and my case was quickly closed. I was blamed by Brytor that I don't have insurance coverage. The fact is, Brytor didn't even mention this at all for the entire time and I assumed that the shipment is expected to deliver at full value. In addition, the damage caused by poor packaging, should that not be taken care by Brytor? Brytor claim team responded very fast and closed my case with nothing...!!!

   Absolutely atrocious experience!

   After extensive research and then at the recommendation of our realtor, we contracted with Brytor to move our household effects and one car to Nanaimo, B.C. from Ottawa in May 2022. We were quote "approximately 10 days" but it took literally a month wityh all sorts of excuses about a shortage of railcars, etc. The packers in Ottawa were great, as were the unpackers in Nanaimo. Per the contract, I had to go over to the mainland to pick up my wife's car, which was in nice shape, so no issues there. However, our household effects evidently were handled by two other movers after they arrived in Vancouver and the final delivery was OK. In the meantime, having worn our our welcome with some long-time friends (also from Ottawa), we eventually moved into a hotel at our expense before deciding, because of traffic noise, to move to your empty house with sleeping bags for about a week before our stuff arrived. There were some furniture dings and a broken flatscreen TV. Despite having opted for Brytor's top-line insurance (about $3K), they offered us $50 for our inconvenience - which added insult to injury. Some friends suggested we go to small claims court but we opted not to because of the time involved and with little or no chance of winning any suit. This review is our only revenge which, 2.5 years later, is obviously being served cold. I would not recommend Bryton, despite its pleasant agents in Ottawa, to move a barrel of household trash to the dump.

   Simply a nightmare...

   Absolutely not satisfied, I recommend you look elsewhere. We hired Brytor for an international move in summer 2023. They preferred to check my stuff only by facetime; as a result, the move was more expensive than offered because I had to use a bigger container and I had to pay the extra cost for their wrong assessment! Moreover, some pieces of furniture were broken and they didn't want to pay for them! Totally BS.....

    Extremely unprofessional and unethical

    I hired this company for an international move and initially thought everything was going well. We specifically asked for insurance both verbally and in writing, assuming that this critical detail was taken care of. However, when we received our invoice, the insurance wasn't listed. We reached out immediately to have this corrected and to ensure our items were insured, but our requests were ignored. This oversight became a significant issue when our shipment arrived damaged, and we found out that no insurance had been applied despite our clear instructions. The company's response was disappointing and frustrating. They offered various excuses, shifting the blame onto us at every turn. They claimed we didn't specify our need for insurance adequately, accused us of misunderstanding their insurance process, and even suggested we lacked basic knowledge of international moves, which is ironic given that we hired them as the experts. When they eventually attributed the damage to customs and external factors, citing that for this reason, they could not honor our claim. This felt like a cop-out, a way to avoid taking responsibility for their mistake. Their series of excuses seemed dishonest and aimed at deflecting blame. I strongly believe that they were aware of this mistake and were doing everything they could to avoid taking responsibility. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company. They are dishonest, unethical, and avoided accountability with misleading justifications, and ultimately failed to provide the basic service we hired them for. Their approach to handling the situation was unprofessional and unreliable. I advise avoided them at all costs.
